Versatile and fun to wear

Versatile and fun to wear both at work and at leisure. Very comfortable for low impact activities at the gym. Also good for walking around. Love the triple arch support insoles that come with the shoes. The sole and insole provides flexibility and movement your foot requires for healing blood circulation if you have plantar fasciitis. Better than my orthotics. Only thing: Would do with extra holes at top near ankle to tighten for narrow feet. The tongue is a little short on this model.

What a Shoe!

Bought my true size for post Bunionectomy coming off a cast. Brilliant comfort in wide toe box coupled with great footbed with great arch support. Quality material and craftsmanship.

Cute comfort

These are very comfortable true to Taos shoes. Great arch support and very soft fabric inside. My only complaint is they feel somewhat wide and they don’t lace as high as up as standard tennis shoes so my feet don’t feel as supported but overall they are very comfortable. And stylish!

Very comfortable shoes and don’t require much break-in time. Love to roomie toe box! And as someone who needs arch support, this shoes are one of the best ones I’ve purchased. They look good with shorts, jeans and even dresses.

These are the most comfortable

These are the most comfortable and supportive sneakers I have ever worn. I have worn asics sneaker for over 25 years but these sneakers are far superior. The arch support and stability are what I like best about this shoe.

Size 8 worn for severe

Size 8 worn for severe arthritis in feet. Provides excellent support and comfort. They go with most anything I wear and I’ve received lots of compliments on them.

Comfortable, lightweight and good arch support. I don’t like wearing socks so it matters to me how my feet feel against the construction. So far - excellent! TAOS has beautiful well constructed shoes. . work the money!

Absolutely adorable shoes. Cutest styling ever! I don’t agree with the reviewer that says the shoe runs narrow. I have a narrow heal but regular foot size otherwise. I could barely get the shoe to tighten enough to feel like my foot wasn’t swimming in the shoe. I had to tighten them so much the laces almost dangled on the ground they were so long. The heal area was definitely large and I would greatly benefit from secondary lace holes to be able to tighten the heal area. I probably would need to wear 2 pairs of socks to keep the shoes from slipping. So, no, the shoes definitely are NOT narrow. The inside of the shoes are not as soft as I expected from Taos. The sandals I own are more cushiony. They are not bad but I would not say they are super soft. I have not walked in them yet so can’t report on walking comfort. Overall the styling is the winner of this shoe. It is just so dang cute!

Run very small

I purchased these in a discontinued color. Unfortunately, they were on sale and not exchangeable. I ordered a half size up and they were still small. To add insult to injury, the day I received them, I found they lowered the price by another $20. I am going to have to wear thin socks and struggle to put these on when I wear them, so I am very disappointed. I purchased a pair of sandals last year and they are extremely comfortable and have held up well. I walked to Disney World parks in one day with no issues.

Tongue

Love the shoes. Excellent quality and spot on foot / arch support. The only thing is that I wish the tongue on the shoe was just a by longer. It doesn’t affect the shoe but when I put it on it seems short. Other than that I’m sold on buying another pair !!

The shoe is light and

The shoe is light and feels good, but the toe box and arch area are a bit narrow, creating a lot of pressure on my outer foot and friction. The foot needs more space, like the canvas Taos shoes.

A very comfortable pair of

A very comfortable pair of shoes. I recommend buying a half size up as I needed the extra space. I'm usually a 9, but they were a little snug. The 9. 5 fit perfectly. Really like them!

Love these shoes but didn't

Love these shoes but didn't have to return them for a size larger. They are narrow across the midfoot at the base of toes. They do not come in a wide width which may have helped.

Love the shoes! Comfortable to be on my feet all day. They would not be ideal for hot weather and to me, a bit pricey but I do love them and are my new favorite!

As usual, I love my

As usual, I love my Detour sneakers! I had a small issue with an outside seam where 3 seams appear to come together and rubbed on a small bone. Fortunately I have a shoe stretcher and used it. They now fit like a glove. I have high arches and all the Taos shoes fit my arches perfectly.

I have only worn them

I have only worn them 2 times. Comfort level is good, like the styling. 2 things I’m not sure about, the laces are very tight and it’s hard to open them up to get my foot in. Secondly, not sure I like the terry cloth lining as it also makes it hard to get my feet into the shoe. Maybe they are meant to be worn without socks which would make it easier. Or I am spoiled since I usually wear your shoes with the side zippers which are super easy to get in and out of. Overall they are a nice, high quality shoe.

Everything shoe

Had purchased plimses and really liked. I wanted to try the detour based on reviews and was not disappointed. These are daily walkers, travel, go with everything kind of shoes. There is not a single thing I’d change. I’ve got wide feet and toes box and these work well.

Too wide

First time I was disappointed in a pair of Toas shoes and I own several. This shoe runs very wide and I couldn’t lace it tight enough to make a difference on a narrow foot. I returned them.

Cute, comfortable - great sneakers

I love Taos shoes and these are my favorite yet. They’re stylish and colorful and I get a lot of compliments, with the same supportive sole and footbed as always. Love them!

These feel so supportive & comfortable. So happy I found them. I learned from a foot sizing specialist that size of shoe doesn’t matter each brand fits differently and you can need a larger size in different brands

My New Shoes

Love the shoes. I wasn't sure about the arch at first but was used to them and loving it within 15 minutes. Good looking, nice quality. A little expensive but everything is now.

A great travel shoe

My new Taos Detours are comfortable enough to wear on travel days. They are stylish enough to wear in Europe, and on the plane. I highly recommend these shoes.
