Return Policy


Unused items that are NOT marked as Final Sale Items may be returned within 30 days from the original purchase date. 

To ensure a smooth and timely return process, please use Taos return labels when sending items back to us. This allows us to track your return and process your refund efficiently. Please note that if you don't use our return labels, we can't guarantee tracking, and you may experience delays or potential issues with your refund. We are not responsible for lost packages sent without our labels, nor are we responsible for returns that are not made by Taos Footwear.


HOW TO START A RETURN

To initiate a return, start by using our online portal to request a return authorization. You will receive a QR code via email so there’s no need to print a label or repackage your items. Simply take your return to the nearest drop-off location and present your QR code - they'll handle the rest!


RETURN CONDITIONS

Eligibility: Returns are accepted only for unworn/unused products in their original packaging within 30 days from the purchase date.

  • Footwear: We recommend trying on your footwear indoors and on carpeted surfaces.


FEES AND EXCHANGES

  • Return shipping: If you purchase Checkout+ at checkout, return shipping is covered. Otherwise, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

  • What is Checkout+ ? Checkout+ is an optional add-on available at checkout that provides both free return shipping and package protection for your order.

  • By adding Checkout+ on your order, you will receive:

      • Free Return Shipping: If you need to return an item for an exchange, refund, or store credit, your return shipping label is covered.

      • Package Protection: If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, you can submit a claim, and upon approval, receive a same-item replacement at no extra cost.

  • Sale Items: Can be exchanged once only. Please no that refunds are not available for sale purchases.

  • Shipping Charges: Standard shipping is free for orders of $150 or more (subtotal). Note that we cannot provide free shipping outside of the contiguous United States and do not offer free shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Footwear can still be purchased and shipped, but the shipping cost is the buyer's responsibility and will be added to the order. We do not provide free return shipping and shipping charges are non-refundable.

    Orders received over the weekend ship on the next business day (usually Mondays except for federal holidays/long weekends).

EXCLUSIONS

  • Final Sale items and Accessories are not eligible for return. Checkout+ as well as shipping charges are non-refundable services.

    If the size exchange doesn’t work for you or you’d prefer another option, you can list your pair on täõs (encore) (taosencore.com) - our official resale marketplace where Taos Footwear fans can buy and sell pre-loved (or new in box) styles, peer to peer.

    Through täõs (encore) resale site you can:

    -List your item in just a few steps.
    -Ship it using a prepaid USPS label once it sells.
    -Collect cash or store credit (your choice) toward a purchase at taosfootwear.com.
