The Best For Walking and Traveling

I purchased these sandals in their honey color for a trip to Italy. I did what you’re NOT supposed to do… I got them a few days before leaving! No break in time! They were just sooo comfortable right out of the box, I just went with it on faith, and I had zero regrets! I like to wear cute shoes, and can’t understand why a comfortable walking sandal can’t be cute too, and these checked all my boxes. They are simple in design, (something I prize), truly high quality soft leather, infinitely adjustable with the hidden Velcro closures, and looked cute with my pants, dresses, and shorts. I had plantar fasciitis awhile ago, so I really prefer a shoe with arch support, especially when I am traveling. We averaged 10 miles a day, and I had no foot pain, no blisters, really no issues! The back strap is subtly yet effectively padded, and the soft suede like footbed doesn’t make your feet sweat. I love me my birks, but their footbed tends to act like a tray and dirt and gravel will collect in them, so the Taos footbed was better for walking around ancient ruins. Speaking of the footbed, I am a reliable 8 medium, and these fit true to size. There is another brand with an “AO” in their name, and I feel their footbed isn’t as comfortable for me as they seem to run narrower, and are not as padded. My feet love Taos! I love these sandals so much I purchased them in black when I got home. I think these in red would be a fun pop of color if done right. Did I leave anything out? If you want a really great walking sandal, don’t hesitate on these!

Arch support - Comfort+

Plantar fasciitis who? I thought I was doomed to be in big chunky ugly sandals for tennis shoes in the summer once I started suffering from PF but TAOS to the rescue! I live in these sandals all summer long. Took a trip across France for 2 weeks, wore these almost exclusively and had 0 foot pain. They adjust where you need them to and have lasted me years. I was recently diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. I had no idea what shoe I should start wearing to aid in lessening my heel pain. I took a chance on the Trophy 2 after researching on line. They are pricey but I found them to be very comfortable and supportive. I think they are the cutest also. I wore them on a shopping trip and my heel did not hurt at all nor did it hurt the evening after. If you are on the fence about purchasing, do yourself a favor and get them. You won’t regret it.

Very comfortable shoe. I normally wear a 7. 5 but went with a 7 in this pair. They feel a little short but the 8 would have been too big. I have another pair in the 7 that are perfect so it might be the style. I do suffer with flat feet, low to no arch and plantar fasciitis and these are so comfortable on my feet!! No pain and very little leg soreness when I have them on all day!!I love them and will buy more of this brand!!

Excellent

This is my second pair of Taos sandals and they are so comfortable ! I have problems with plantar fasciitis and knee arthritis , so I need good support and these fit all my needs . My feet are narrow and these feel secure .

Super comfortable

Just as the ads said… you can wear these all day and evening, and be comfortable. I love that all three straps have Velcro adjustments. As my feet swell later in a sight-seeing day, I can make the straps looser. I also love the padded heel strap — an area which often causes me irritation, but not with these! It’s a good arch support, not as high as the custom inserts I have from the foot doctor, and not as high as Vionics but sufficient to keep my plantar fasciitis at bay.

Great and comfortable sandals

I have high arches and plantar fasciitis that comes and goes. These sandals are a great resource for my feet. My feet aren’t tired by the end if the day from lack of support and my plantar fasciitis hasn’t flared up. I do wish they came in a 10 1/2 but the 11’s work great.

Amazing sandals

I recently had my first bout with plantar fasciitis. It seems to coincide with sandal Season and was intensely painful. I desperately missed sandals and was afraid I was resigned to supportive sneakers plus insoles. I invested in my first pair of Taos and they have changed my life. I’m back in sandals again and they are insanely comfortable and stylish. I just ordered two more pair. I would say to size up if you are a half size.

I bought these for a trip to NYC, we walked a lot and I did not wear them prior to the trip, my feet didn't hurt, I didn't get any blisters, super comfortable! I have narrow feet, but the shoe has enough adjusting straps that I could them from slipping. I also have plantar fasciitis and they were supportive enough to keep my feet from hurting.

As always,Taos comes through with a quality made product that is also vet attractive! The arch support is everything you could hope for in a sandal. I love that all three straps are adjustable, creating a perfect fit. Very comfortable, I easily wore them all day right out of the box. For me, comfort is everything! The sole privides just the right combination of cushioning and support. The color is beautiful, and one that is not easily found, especially in an orthopedically designed shoe. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Very comfortable

I have high arches and have battled plantar fasciitis. With the hot weather up on us, I was really bummed that I had to stick to tennis shoes and not wear sandals. I found these sandals and they are great!

The best sandals

These are the best sandals I've ever owned. They're perfect for long walks, travelling and days when you don't want to deal with foot or back pain. They are quite literally the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. I also have a pair of Guru sandals from taos which I love but I find these more lightweight and supportive. They look beautiful with shorts, dresses, pants, a very versatile style. They're lightweight and offer perfect support and they don't make your feet sweat, they have great grip and the adjustable straps mean you have the same comfort whether your feet are swollen in hot weather or not. I've even worn them with thick socks in a pinch while travelling without warm shoes. Mine have lasted me for 3 years of summers and month long travels and they're still going. I'll be buying a new pair when they finally fall apart. Taos please don't ever stop making these!

Love this sandal! I have extremely flat feet and this sandal gives me the arch support I need to walk all day pain free. No need to break it in it is ready to wear when it comes out of the box. So comfortable!! Highly recommend!!!

I absolutely love my Taos Trophy 2 shoes! They are stylish, comfortable, and surprisingly lightweight. The cushioning and support make them very comfortable for walking, while the design still looks cute and modern rather than bulky. I especially appreciate how well they support my feet during longer periods of walking. They feel great right out of the box and are easy to wear all day. Love them!

I was so excited to find these cute sandals. They are great with jeans, shorts, or dresses. The arch support, padding on the heel strap, and soft lining of the footbed makes them so comfortable. The leather is beautiful and the quality is excellent. Also, the adjustable straps let me loosen them when my feet swell during the day.

LOVE the sandals but reaching customer service is a bad experience

I love the sandals. I have purchased two other Taos Sandals and recognized that these were the shoes for me. I have neuropathy and arthritis in my feet and I need something with support but also with some flexibility as to width etc. Some days my feet are swollen others days they are not. The shoes are comfortable and they look like any other shoe not something special for someone with food problems. One note - the color says white but they are off-white almost a cream when you go outside. This is fine with me but if you want a stark white this is not the shoe.\\n\\nOn another note each time I have purchased a shoe I have a major problem getting into your site. Have to change my password and then decipher the pictures which do not match the selections you give to us to chose from. Also getting to speak to a customer representative is next to impossible although I have gotten through to the \\square smiley face\\ if I allow enough time for someone to answer. Need to get more staff or give a customer a chance to leave a number for a call.

The Most Comfy Sandals EVER!!!!

The sandals are the most comfortable shoes ever! I’ve been searching high and low for shoes like this. They have just the right amount of arch and metatarsal support with the cushiest flexible shoe bed ever! The heel strap is oh so soft. They are a perfect 9. Not too long. My twin sister wears size 8. These will fit her foot, as well. There is an issue with the right shoe having a slight bump making the the outside of my heel uncomfortable. I called custom service and all I have to do is drop it off at my Staples store and Täōs is sending me a replacement. I can’t wait! Thank you, Täōs! It was an added bonus to actually have a human being answer on the first ring. I’m a happy customer! Can’t believe these are even more comfortable than my Prize sandals. Incredible! My feet are so sensitive. These shoes are a perfect fit for someone who needs support and an extra flexible shoe. Please make a pair of tennies or boots with this amount of comfort. Added note—I have high flexible arches that flatten when I stand and minimal padding on the bottoms of my very slender delicate feet. Also, a “dislocated” toe that makes it feel like I’m walking on a pebble. Not durable feet at all. I’m so happy to have found Täōs.

Repeat purchase!

This is the second pair I have had in this basic style. The sandals fit my feet so well due to the nice arch support and adjustable straps. They are comfortable yet sturdy. The style and design works well with a casual pair of shorts or a nicer sundress. I had my first pair for several years and finally had to replace them after walking miles in them each day during our two week trip to Italy. Highly recommend them!!

I own several pairs of this style. With plantar fasciitis it just any shoe will do. These wear well all day long and I highly recommend them.

I took these sandals on

I took these sandals on a 2 week trip to Europe, and they were absolutely perfect! They were comfortable right out of the box, and were great for both hours of walking and were attractive enough for evenings out. I also have 2 differently shaped feet, including a bunion on one (which the straps hid very well!), and it was fabulous to be able to adjust the straps as needed to fit both feet. I highly recommend these sandals and will be looking to order other pairs in different colors!

Flat feet

The leather is beautiful, nice straps to adjust to your comfort level. I would like more arch support which I think would be easy to produce.

Good but not perfect

I have owned many pairs of Taos, my favorite being Beauty2. While the Trophy2 are well made and fashionable, they don't have the same feel and fit as other styles. They are true to size. I love the double t-strap design for the additional support. I wish the back strap was also adjustable. The arch isn't as high as previous styles I've owned. I b I ught these to work in. I'm on my feet all day and need comfort and support, I just hope with further wear these will fit the bill.

This a my second Taos sandal purchased. I work retail and need a comfortable shoe since I’m on my feet 5+ hours a day. These shoes are very comfortable with great arch support. I like that they can be adjustable to get a great fit at the heal and across the top of the foot. I’m sure I’ll be adding additional Taos sandals to my shoe wardrobe in the near future!

Very comfortable

These sandals feel comfortable right out of the box, and they fit my arch perfectly. I usually wear 8. 5 in closed toe shoes, and often 8 in sandals. 8 fits me well. The adjustable straps are of soft, pliable leather so are very comfortable.

So Comfy

I bought these just before a trip to Bali. Wore them straight away, no blisters or anything. The leather is super soft as is the sole with great support. I have a narrow foot and they fitted perfectly. My new favourite brand!

Just receoved- SP comfortable!

I literally just received these sandals and when I put them on my feet said ahhhhhhh....they are amazingly comfortable. I already apprecitate the great support - i have high arches. I ordered the \\golden yellow: and my only negative feedback is that the color is more brown than the yellow shown in the photo and that I expected.

Most comfortable sandals ever for sore feet!

I love my Taos sneakers and wanted to try the sandals. I am a size 7, very flat foot with narrow heels and often have trouble with flat sandals causing pain or not staying on! These Trophy 2 are perfect. They adjust and have the support I need to walk for miles, and the color is perfect with any summer outfit.

Taos 2 are extremely comfortable and supportive as I have high arches and have been wearing this brand style for many years now. They are. Bit pricey but worth every $ spent.

This is the most comfortable pair of sandals I've ever worn. I have AAAA width feet that are very hard to find shoes for . This style has enough straps and long enough velcro to adjust to my exact comfort. Having a medium width works for me because it allows my feet to swell in the summer heat. The gold is gorgeous and I feel dressed up wherever I go. The footbed is so comfortable and soft . They are very supportive. The leather straps are extremely soft. I tend to forget that I'm wearing them. This is the best pair of sandals. I wish they could come in half sizes because I really need a 9.5, but I can wear a 9 in sandals. They are just so comfortable . I'm always looking for reasons to wear them somewhere. I'd try another style, but they are prohibitively expensive and I don't really need another pair.

All around great sandal!

Was able to score a sale on these sandals! I have worn Taos sandals for 20 years now and absolutely love that I can wear them traveling and on long walks in Europe without any foot issues. They are comfortable and will go for many miles!!They provide the right amount of support for arch support and don't rub anywhere! I love that I can adjust the straps to fit my feet. I appreciate they are made of leather for comfort. They can easily be cleaned and I can wear them for daily walking environment or a dressed up outfit out for a nice dinner. I'm not sure which feature is their best except that 1-I love the price, 2-I love that they are a trusted brand for comfort and longevity, 3-I continue to get compliments on their look and plan to wear them for years to come!

Well made, attractive, and comfortable

I love these sandals with their light weight feel and pretty straps. And as light as they feel on my feet, they also have a good amount of arch support that makes walking a pleasure. I had to send mine back only because my feel have changed just in the last four years-- don't like the way they look in strap sandals anymore :(. But I love the quality and look of them.

Taos sandals are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn! The footbed is so supportive and also soft and comfortable. I used to have knee pain, but with these sandals I can walk on tile floors (or any other surface) all day without any pain. The leather straps are incredibly soft and do not rub, and I love the T-strap design.

Another great sandal

I purchased these for a trip to the East Coast. They are cute and we’re super comfortable right out of the box. My Taos purchases never need breaking in. This is a lightweight and high quality sandal. I still have every pair of Taos I’ve ever purchased, including my first pair of flip flops from 10 years ago. They don’t wear out!!!

A comfortable, supportive sandal

Taos knows how to make comfortable, practical sandals that look great, too! These sandals are very comfortable and supportive. The heel and arch support make a big difference. I can wear them all day, and night. I bought them in the steel color, and honestly, it is so versatile.

I wear a 6. 5-7, got the 7 and LOVE THEM

Super comfy right out of the box. I ran around comic con all weekend and didn't have tired feet or blisters. I usually have pain with sandals but these were so comfortable. The toe box isn't Wide, but is roomy which helped with balance. It's a well designed shoe.

Beautiful shoe that is comfortable from the moment you put it on. Stays comfortable all day. Great traction and nice footbed as well. Great that you can adjust the width with the velcro straps so it fits wide as well as a narrow foot.

This was my first time

This was my first time buying Taos brand footwear, but it definitely won’t be my last. The sandals were comfortable immediately after putting them on. They have good arch support and the adjustable straps allow for a customized fit.

Wow the comfort is 100%, you can wear these sandals all day long because of the support in these sandals’. Also the adjustable straps make it very easy for in @ out of the foot bed. Love the Grey color also!

Lovely but not the best for super high arches

Lovely shoes, but I wish there was more support in the arch. Your close toed shoes offer much more support and are better for all day wear. I found with this shoe, by the end of the day, my foot was tired and my arch was aching. However, I have very high arches so someone with less of an arch will be fine and will love these shoes!

EXCELLENT!!

I love these sandles!! I need a good shoe, I've tried Clark's, Baretraps and others, but nothing is a comfortable on my feet than Taos. . I've got several pair and I'm waiting for yet another new purchase!! I have trouble walking far due to foot pain, but I can walk forever with these sandals. . Thank you Taos!!

My new favorite sandal

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. They are completely adjustable. The have room for my bunions. They are cute and lightweight. I love, love, love them!

Good comfort sandal

Comfortable. Looks great. Hardware and stitching keep it casual looking. It does have straps at the arch so isn’t as flattering for my flat feet but still comfortable
