Best Sandal for Bunions, Arch Support Plus Style

The best sandal ever for comfort, foot support, and style! I have bunions and plantar fasciitis, if my arches aren’t properly supported, plus heel spurs. The straps are spaced perfectly so that they don’t rub on the bunions at all. They are the only, not between your toes sandals, I have found that fit this way. Additionally, each strap’s width is adjustable…so fantastic to get the perfect fit. The footbed provides excellent arch support, and full sole cushioning support, on a comfortable anti-microbial material. I always have a few pair, and wear them all year indoors and out. I just love them! My podiatrist also approves of them. My only complaints are 1) that I prefer the wide width and wear a size 6, and those are generally next to impossible to find; 2) they used to have a Festive style and annually come out with a different style with different embellishments down the front (loved those) and they no longer make those.

Love These Sandals!

These sandals are so comfy and great! The support of the arch and metatarsal are perfect. Not too high. Not too low. I’ve been looking for a sandal that would fit my slender delicate feet. I have high arches that flatten when I stand. The Prize sandal does the job. My foot is so slender, though, that I have to tighten the strap so much it makes the vertical design of the medallions angle toward the outside of foot. It would be nice if the top strap was a little narrower or if the stitching on the loop on the vertical design wasn’t seen so tight so I could slide it so it is aligned straight up my foot. I love these sandals. Only slight downside is keeping them on my feet when I’m walking. They’re not made for going on a walk. They’re ideal for around the house or not having to walk fast and/or far. In comparison to the Trophy 2, they have a slightly firmer foot bed. Trophy 2 is the softest of them all so far. I love both, though. Prize 4 and trophy 2. Prize 4 is dressier and easy to slip on and off. Foot bed of the Prize 4 is slightly longer than the Trophy 2. So happy Täōs makes sandals I can wear all day long. Thank you, Täös! When will you be making dress shoes that have arch and metatarsal support that are nice and cushy?

Finally a Slide that Can Adjust to Stay on my Narrow Feet

The straps adjust enough to keep my narrow, flat feet from slipping out! No gripping my toes hard to keep my sandals on. The leather straps are soft and nothing rubs anywhere. They are very lightweight. The sole is very soft and comfortable. It's the closest thing to walking barefoot (but with padded feet). The arch support feels less than the Taos My Dear sandals I also bought, but there's enough to make them comfortable for walking miles. I took a 3.5-mile walk in them the first day out, and I had no discomfort. Great sandals!

I have really bad feet

I have really bad feet . Arthritis, planter fasciitis bunions etc. These were so comfortable right out of the box.

Best sandals ever!

This is the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn. Great arch support without feeling too rigid which is important for me as I have plantar fasciitis. I wore these for 2 days in Disneyland walking 13+ miles each day and out walked my teen grands. I own them in every color.

These are the best sandals!

Five years ago I bought these sandals and I wore them until they wore out. I bought the same shoes again recently and I am so happy that I did! I have high arches in my feet and these shoes support them well. They never get tired when I wear them all day. These shoes are a medium width and my wide feet fit well due to the adjustable straps. They are very pretty as well as comfortable and well made. When these sandals wear out I will buy them again!

Beautiful and comfortable sandals

Comfortable shoes, so well made in accordance with Taos tradition. Featuring adjustable straps, that adjust for arch and toe issues, and stay on. Beautiful soft pewter leather and soft, yet supportive insole. I was able to wear these for hours right out of the box.

I have very high arches

I have very high arches and plantar fasciitis. The support is what makes me keep coming back to Taos. These were a bit too wide for me but I will exchange them for another style. I have many pairs of Taos!

These are my go to

These are my go to black summer sandals. Perfect for dress up or dress down. Love the embellishments. I have started buying Taos to combat my plantar fasciitis issues. I have a a very narrow foot but the adjustable straps work fine to accommodate

Comfortable but wish the arch

Comfortable but wish the arch support was higher as I have very high arches and hoped for more support to prevent pressure on ball of my foot which pressures bunion

Prize and Trophy are the BEST SHOES EVER!!!!

Täōs nailed it when they created the Prize and Trophy. Soft leather, gentle arch and metatarsal support. These sandals allow those with high arches and sensitive feet to walk all day without pain. Wearing them is like walking on a cloud. Thank you, Täös!

Love these sandals -- excellent

Love these sandals -- excellent quality, provides the footbed/arch support I need, and each strap is adjustable! I'm used to wearing orthotics, and other moulded footbed-type shoes, and these sandals gave me all the comfort I'm used to. Super cute too!

Great fit

These are great shoes. Comfy soles and with the adjustable straps I can really get the fit right. I have narrow feet but a high arch so I really value having them be adjustable

Different styles fit differently - comfort not consistent

Needed another pair of comfy sandals for an upcoming trip so I ordered these on clearance. They fit ok. Wish they were a little wider. It’s great that the straps are adjustable but the base of the sandal at the toes just isn’t quite wide enough for me. And on one foot that bottom strap hits my little toe so it’s not under the strap - if that makes sense. I can’t return since they were on clearance and I will wear them some just not for long periods of time. Honestly I much prefer my Vionics. They have a much better arch support and I can wear them comfortably for hours. I own another pair of Taos Trulie and they are much more comfortable than this pair.

Great feeling sandal for walking and shopping

The Taos foot bed is wonderful for my feet. Super comfortable, great arch support without being too much, soft feel and great for lots of walking. The silver color is a great neutral with a little style.

Comfortable and well made

I love these shoes so much that this is the second pair I’ve purchased. I have wide feet and the adjustable leather straps allow for a perfect fit. I can walk all day thanks to the supportive, comfortable soles. The colors work with lots of clothes in my closet making them my go-to sandal for summer dresses as well as slacks. The workmanship is excellent.

Favorite every day sandal

This is the third pair of this sandal I have purchased. They have good Arch support , are completely adjustable and are true to size in length. The footbed is so soft and comfortable and breathable. Slip on convenience and they stay put. A good find.

Love them

I wore these shoes for the first time today. They look great and feel great. Shoes with straps usually rub my feet and leave sore spots. Not these shoes. I have bunions and were worried that the strap right next to my bunion would rub and cause a red sore spot..........they did not, not even a little bit . I Love these shoes. I have other Taos shoes and they all are super comfortable. thank you Taos.

I’ve wanted a pair for

I’ve wanted a pair for along time , finally found one on sale . That is the only way I could afford a pair. I was very hope this would be a solution to my plantar fasciitis. I’m still trying to wear them but I’m wondering , How long does it take your foot to get use to them? The size 10 was a good fit . They have quality workmanship. Is there maybe another style that would have a bit more support?

I have very big feet

I have very big feet with bunions. I was looking for a summer sandal that would not put pressure on my bunions. This sandal has 3 adjustable tabs that can tailor this shoe to your foot. It does not press on my bunions. There could be a bit more padding in the footbed, but I suspect I have special issues. The sandal, in size 12, is not as cute as in size 7, but it will do nicely.

Love it! Bought two more

I love how it goes with so many different outfits. I have a lot of foot problems and pain. The support is surprisingly good. It's like walking barefoot (so comfy) but without foot or knee pain. I have narrow feet and the velcro lets me adjust the straps to fit me perfectly. And the return policy is great. You can't go wrong.

Great arch support. Turns out

Great arch support. Turns out that they are slightly too flexible for me to wear to work - I need a firm sole for teaching. I enjoy wearing these around the house and for short jaunts. The flexible sole thing is not the fault of the shoe, just my bad feet.

Only sandal I wear

Best fitting and comfortable sandals for me. Only sandal brand I wear is Taos. I usually need an orthotic arch support but not with these sandals . I have walked miles /kms without getting tired feet.

I have neuropathy from chemotherapy

I love Taos sandals! Good

I love Taos sandals! Good arch support keeps my feet, legs and back from becoming fatigued while walking and standing for long periodsof time. The three adjustable straps of the Prize 4 make for a custom fit. In addition, I don't have to sacrifice beauty for functionality! So very glad I discovered Taos years ago!

I have a narrow foot

I have a narrow foot and these are adjustable straps - perfect fit!!!! Very supportive in the arch and very comfortable for me. I have been wearing them constantly and no issues with with blisters or anything else. These are a really shoe and more like Birkenstock’s but better looking!

Silver Prize 4

Love these comfortable sandals! Great fit across the wide ball of my foot. Arch support, and easy Velcro fit foot straps add to the good fit and soft feel, yet holding my foot firmly. Live the burnished silver color; they go with many colors!

On to my second pair!

This is my second pair of these sandals. I love them - comfort, no breaking in time. Great cushioning no foot pain, blisters, helps my neuropathy greatly at and just an great go to sandal for the summer, early fall. Color just goes with everything, and of course the workmanship is top notch!

Very comfortable shoe. My podiatrist recommended Taos for my high arches and to alleviate my foot pain. First pair I purchased 5 years ago and they are still I good shape.

I can walk in these

I can walk in these sandals all day without any pain. I have plantar fasciitis so that is a minor miracle. They're stylish, they don't look like old lady sandals.

Love this style

I have loved this style for many years. I have problem feet where my pinkie toes rub against most sandals. These are of course adjustable and comfortable right out of the box. I wear them everywhere. Long walks, shopping and traveling. I bought the black and beige styles last summer and another pair of black (that’s all they had) this summer. I fear this style is being discontinued since they were on final sale. I wear and 8 to 8 1/2 in most shoes, with this style and brand I have always worn 8. Taos, please do not discontinue this style, instead add mom colors.

This is my 8th pair

This is my 8th pair of Taos Prize sandals over the last seven years. I bought my first pair at The walking Store on the recommendation of the salesman who helped me when I was looking for a shoe that I could walk all day in on an upcoming trip. They were perfect and I have continued to buy other pairs. They are the only shoe I wear all summer. I am a diabetic with peripheral neuropathy and they never hurt my feet. I highly recommend them

Cute Sandals

I bought the pewter color in my usual size 8 and it fit just right. All 3 straps are adjustable and helped fit my wider feet. I've had bunion surgery and comfortable shoes that look good on is important.

Most comfortable sandals I own

I have these in two colors and I can wear them all day long with no foot pain. I have metatarsalgia and most shoes hurt but not these. Very happy customer!

Taos Sandals

Love Taos sandals and shoes. I have multiple pairs of both. Wanted a pair to just slip on without a back strap. These are just what I was looking for. Taos comfort and support are always a given as proof in these sandals. The style is great. The quality is fantastic, I have sandals and sneakers 5+ years old still in great condition! The adjustable straps make these sandals a perfect fit for feet of all shapes. I run a little narrow so always had trouble finding a good fit. With adjustable straps I don’t have to worry. Taos is always my go to!

To call the color Blue

To call the color Blue Multi is a bit of a stretch for the colors of the shoe. It's more like grey-green-brown combination. Comparing with the old versions of the Prize, the straps are thinner, not as soft, arch support is almost not there, insole is not as soft. I have not return the shoe because I bought it on sale and needed a pair asap, but am a bit disappointed about the lower quality comparing to the old pair. They are still comfortable to walk, but not for a long walk. My feet get tired with little arch support.

The Best Shoe in town!

I LOVE these Sandals! They are so Comfortable and supportive and beautiful at the same time : I recently walked for miles while on vacation in DC wearing these shoes and was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and support. These are my third pair of sandals and I think they are Truly great shoes, thanks Taos. They look fabulous with jeans or great with a casual dress too. The fit is perfect, as if they were custom made for my feet .

I usually only wear sandals

I usually only wear sandals that have a backstrap, due to a condition that prevents full mobility in one foot. But these sandals stay on! The quality of the leather and the adjustable Velcro on all 3 straps makes a very snug fit. I recently wore these on vacation and did a LOT of walking, with no issues at all. Cute and super comfortable!

I love everything about these

I love everything about these shoes. They look great to wear all day while running errands and transition right into dinner with a casual dress. They are super comfortable and provide good support. I was worried they might “flop” since there is no back strap to hold them securely. They are very secure on my feet…no flopping.

So comfortable right out of

So comfortable right out of the box!! I have 2 other pairs of these sandals in different colors! They have just the right amount of arch support without being too much like some other brands. Just love them. And great quality and style. I am usually an 8 1/2 but the 8 fit me in this brand.

Customizable fit

I love the comfort and arch support of the footbed. What makes these sandals really standout in great fit is that all of the straps are adjustable! These are perfect for every day wear. I do wish there was a dressier version!
