They are extremely comfortable right out of the box, they look nice, and can be worn with just about anything. I have bunions and a high arch and have challenges finding comfortable shoes.

Best Walking Sandal

Worth every penny. I wore these in NYC, walking all day, more than 30,000 steps! No blisters or sore feet. I'm overweight and have struggled with plantar fasciitis off and on the last few years. Will purchase again in different colors!

Very Comfortable

I've worn these sandals every day since I received them. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. I have plantar fasciitis and I don't need my orthotics when I wear them.

Wore in Italy - basically out of the box!

My feet are not easy. I wear a 10. 5 or 10 wide depending on the brand and style. I have one pretty intense bunion and another that's not as bad. I try to wear "foot-shaped" shoes like Xero and Lems. I just got back (yesterday) from a 10-day trip to Italy. I purchased these sandals with the intention of wearing them on days when there was less walking and out to dinner. I ended up wearing these sandals just about every single day I was away. They were more comfortable than the sneakers I brought. They adjustable, incredibly comfortable out of the box (I did wear them around the house to make sure I liked them), and have padding on the heel strap - no blisters or discomfort at all! I got the lighter brown color (don't remember what it's called), and I will definitely get another pair before school starts again in September. They'll be excellent for teaching. I might want a pair that slips on, too, but I don't know how well they stay on for walking. I am a very dedicated online shopper, and this is probably the first review I've written. These sandals are excellent.

I'm really happy with these

I'm really happy with these sandals! They're really comfortable right out of the box, even with my bunion. They provide great support for wearing and walking all day. The quality is great and the style is versatile.

Big Time is really big time comfortable

So good right out of the box. Got them on Tuesday, took on a weekend trip. Probably walked 6-7 miles on city streets and a major league baseball game. It rained, they got soaked and dried beautifully with no discoloration to the footbed. I love them. They are stylish, totally adjustable. Also the straps fit perfectly around the bunion on my right foot. Couldn't be happier with them.

Super Comfy and Cute Sandal

I have flat wide feet and finding comfortable shoes is a challenge. I recently tried Taos for the first time and bought the Big Time sandal in wide width. These sandals are big time comfy. Adjustable straps work well for me for very active walking days without looking clunky or too "sensible". Very cute style coupled with terrific function. More money than I normally spend on sandals, but worth the cost. I like them so much, I bought a second pair in another color.

Shoes are ok

The leather is soft and they look great, but they don’t have much arch support and the bed of the shoe is not as comfortable as their marketing wants you to believe. I had hoped they would be suitable for walking all day while on vacation, but I don’t they don’t have enough support. These shoes are not bad, but not worth the money.

So comfortable!

I am 54 and of the age where I am looking for COMFORTABLE shoes that are still CUTE. These are both. I have a bunion on one foot and these are super comfortable. I wear them to work and they feel great all day no matter how much I'm on my feet. I am going to Italy soon and I plan to take these with me on my trip. They're expensive, but worth the investment if you are looking for a good shoe. You will check every box with these: cute, comfortable, well made. I plan to order another pair in a brown color soon.

Big Time is a very

Big Time is a very comfortable and stylish sandal that can be worn all day, going from casual to dressy; I ordered the wide but probably didn’t need to as the Velcro strap across the top of the foot would have addressed that issue (I don’t have super wide feet, but if you do, go with the wide). I also have a slightly high arch, so the Velcro strap around the ankle allows for a good fit. I wore this sandal a few times to work and my feet still felt good at the end of the day, and no sweaty feet.

I love these sandals! I've traveled in a different style and I bought these for an upcoming trip to have more choices for footwear. They are comfortable right out of the box, no break in time! I love the adjustable straps at both the ankle and the forefoot. My skinny feet never fit in the sandals that have a fixed strap over the forefoot, they always have a large gap. I love the arch support as well. I recommend Taos all the time.

Great Sandals!

Since developing plantar fasciitis several years ago, Taos sandals are one of the few I can wear so I probably have well over 15 pairs. Suffice it to say I love Taos sandals because they look stylish while supporting my feet and the Big Time are no different. They look good and are comfortable for all day wear right from the box and I like the fact that they have quieter soles.

This is my 2nd pair of Taos sandals. Both ran true to my size and were comfortable right out of the box! I have very high arches and these provide a lot of support. I will absolutely buy another pair in the future.

These are beautiful sandals. I have a high arch and they’re surprisingly comfortable. I do have a narrow foot and the standard width just barely snugs them up enough to fit.

Everyone on earth should have a pair! They were instantly comfortable with a a soft form fitting base and two places to Velcro for a perfect fit for anyone. True to size. A stylish sandal that also fit my bunion.

Most comfortable and best looking leather sandals out there!

I have narrow feet, and finding any kind of shoe that fits properly is difficult. I decided to buy a pair of Taos sandals- and I cannot believe how well they fit and how comfortable they are. No breaking in required. Beautiful supple leather and varied styles. I ended up buying a second pair in a different color and a third pair in a different style/color. Each is perfect! Nice arch, too. I can walk miles in them with no issues at all. Really so well-made and high quality leather. Thank you, Taos!

I love my new Taos sandals! They are very comfortable and give good arch support! I can wear them all day and keep going! I can no longer wear heels so wore them to a formal wedding and received compliments on them. I am very pleased with my purchase! Thank you for offering a good quality sandal for over 70!

Amazing comfort and support

I bought a pair of these sandals before a. trip to California. While I didn't wear them the entire time, I did wear them a lot. Extremely comfortable for walking and I wear them a lot. Now that I am back home. They were comfortable from the get-go- no break-in period!

A no pain sandal

5’7”, 135 lbs, size 9 shoe I have thin feet with high arches with previous broken toe and ankle injuries so sandals can be a challenge. I hadn’t found a sandal yet that didn’t cause pain and swelling. I can wear these for an easy and classy look without pain. The straps are a bit loose on me so I may have them shortened. The footbed feels great, just wished it had a bit more cushion. I have not yet tested them in all day walking but have been very happy with the 3-4 hour walks I have taken. I also purchased an outdoor sandal, Super Z, that has also been amazing. I have been so impressed that I am looking at other styles to get in a brown.

Comfortable!

I really like this sandal; however, if you have a high arch/high instep, the strap BARELY meets the velcro tab closure. I kept them thinking the strap will stretch over time, but currently, and constantly, the strap disengages. FYI

Well made, high quality, comfortable

Well made, high quality, comfortable sandal! Great for casual wear but can also be dressed up. Doesn’t pinch my toes and fits well if you have a bit of a bunion.

Having bunions is a problem, but these sandals avoid the problem spots and support my feet at the same time. They are very comfortable and easily adjustable.

Great for my hard to fit feet!

I was hesitant to pay big bucks for another cleverly marketed sandal. But to my surprise and delight these sandals live up to their hype. I could wear them right out if the box with no problem. I have wide feet (with my right foot being even wider than my right ). And I have pronation and need arch support. I just love these sandals!!!

A nice surprise.

They look beautiful as advertised, the quality is excellent. The only thing I would suggest more arch support. overall, they’re the first pair of shoes I’ve ordered that I could walk in immediately and not get any blisters. I would suggest that more of your styles come in wide width.

I love the simple and

I love the simple and functional styling of these sandals. Easy to adjust to get the right fit, and my bunions were accommodated by the V -- no strap pushing on them! However, they did not provide enough support for me. I pronate and need shoes that can correct that. These did not. So my feet were quite sore and swollen after an evening of walking in them.

Almost Perfect

I love everything about the sandals except there is not enough cushion for the sole of the foot. I have very flat feet and this offers little to no support for what arch I do have. They are cute, well made and i wear them but my feet are sore at the end of the day.

Love these!

Bought these for my trip to Italy and they were perfect! I have high arches and usually need to add insoles to most shoes. I brought insoles just in case and never needed them. We walked approx 15K steps/day and my feet felt great.

My bunion doesn't hurt!!!

The Big Time Sandal straps fit perfectly around the bunion on my right foot, so it doesn't cause pressure and pain like the straps in many other styles! I will happily order more of this very comfortable style!

Blown away by these

I never take the time to write reviews, but these sandals were such a pleasant surprise I figured I needed to give credit where credit is due! First off, without half sizing, lean on sizing up! I normally wear 6. 5 and 7s were fantastic for me. Now onto the positives - I bought these and did not attempt to break them in before going on a trip. I wore them all day for several days in a row, walking literally 10s of thousands of steps around airports, city streets, and parks. Zero issues, no aching feet. The only issues I had came simply from walking so much, not from the sandals themselves. They are absolutely 100% a pair I'd recommend for the go-to walking/travel sandal. You can rely on these to hold up for heavy use and still look and feel great. They are cushion-y but not too soft. Truly put my mind at ease to travel on a solo journey with such a reliable and stylish pair of shoes.

These sandals are beautiful, high quality and very durable. They are also the most comfortable sandals I have owned. I've been wearing them every day and walking a lot following my son's golf matches, even some hills and they have held up great! No slipping or stretching out. Looking forward to wearing them in Portugal next month!

I’m absolutely head over heels

I’m absolutely head over heels with Taos shoes. The arch support was meant for me. I have very happy feet and love switching from the platform sole to the flatter soul. The same support is in both. I have very narrow feet and there are only 2 styles that I can wear bc you can tighten all straps. I have them in every color!!! 🥰😁

Perfect in Portugal!

These are the walking bomb! The Big Time took me everywhere on a recent trip in Portugal. So so so comfy when walking on asphalt, cobblestone, gravel and dirt paths. I cannot express enough how amazingly comfortable they were all day. And stylish enough to wear with dresses or shorts. Thank you Taos!

My 3rd pair…absolutely love this style!! Comfortable even with a messed up foot that had been broken. Supportive , stylish, and arch support does not hurt my feet. Strongly recommend!!!
