Flat-feet-friendly

I have large, flat feet and overpronate, which really limits my options for cute shoes. I am so pleased with the arch support in these mary Janes and they are comfortable to wear all day long! My only wish is that the strap closure was made of something other than velcro, as it will be the first part of the shoe to wear out. For the price point of this shoe, it should be an actual buckle/more durable closure.

Great red shoe

I had plantar fasciitis a few years ago, so now I wear only special shoes for the problem, anyway, I wanted a more colorful shoe for the winter for skirts, dresses and dress slacks. Saw these shoes so got them, arch support is great love the box toe. They are cute and I have had many complements on them. Even though I love the shoe, I really wish That they would take the time and make a shoe that was a bit more stylish for an occasion dress wear a little "bling" would be great. Would I buy them or another color again? YES I would.

Lovely MJs!

I love these! Haven't bought MJs in a while, but made the leap and am glad I did: they're quite fun and elegant, super comfortable, and very supportive (love the high arch support!). As some have said, the back does rub against the back of your heel a bit; I'd wear socks with them until they break in. They fit tts: I tend to be between 38 and 39 and went with the 39s on these (based on reviews). Perfect! If they go on sale, I'm buying another pair!

These shows, I am very

These shows, I am very happy to say, were super comfortable. I out them on out of the box, wore them for five hours without any discomfort. They have good arch support, the toe box is nice and wide. They’re a very nice color as well.

Cute and supportive

I like the looks of these shoes and the fact that I can wear them with so many different things. They are well made with nice arch support. I’m still trying to figure out if they’ll work with my orthotics replacing the insole (feels snug) or if I can get by with the insole in the shoes. They are a stiffer shoe, so taking a little getting used to.

I bought these shoes because

I bought these shoes because I have a neuroma and this style offers plenty of room in the toe area. I do wish the leather was a bit softer above the toes and the footbed offered more padding between my foot and the ground. I am very happy with the arch support.

All day comfort

These are very comfortable to wear all day long! They offer excellent arch support so my feet aren’t tired and aching after a long day of teaching.

Good shoe-I hesitated because of

Good shoe-I hesitated because of the cost but I have plantar fasciitis and they work for me nicely with no discomfort. They are casual enough to wear out with jeans but nice enough to wear to work with dressy work clothes. The Velcro strap helps to adjust the comfort and it seems solid. I have only had mine a few weeks but so far I enjoy them and would consider again. As I age and have the resources investing in good shoes that will last is important to me.

Love my shoes!

I've tried many Mary Jane shoes, but this is the first pair that fits my odd foot and is comfortable! I have a bunion on each foot, but the toe bed is wide enough to accommodate it, and the cut of the toe covers--doesn't cut into--the bunion. I have narrow heels, but the shoes do not slip or leave gaps, probably because of the nice, wide strap. As other reviewers have said, the back of the heel digs in some, but I wear a band-aid, and it's fine. I've worn the shoes outside twice (once with thin black socks and once with no-show shoe socks), and they've been comfy the entire day. I am sure that as time goes on, I'll no longer need to wear the band-aids. Though most people will probably wear them without shoe socks, my feet sweat and can easily get blisters. The shoes are very cute, and I may buy another color! They can be worn with jeans, pants, and dresses.

Beautiful & comfortable shoes

I love these, they have been comfortable from day one. The leather is soft and the color is gorgeous. I have high arches and have worn these almost every day since buying them, no rubbing or blisters. Totally worth the money.

I have Morton’s Neuroma and

I have Morton’s Neuroma and rarely find a pair of closed toe shoes that work. I’ve worn these a couple of times and find them comfortable. The wide toe box is perfect! I am impressed with the quality of these shoes.

I love these shoes primarily

I love these shoes primarily the red color but they are comfortable for sustained walking. I put an orthotic inside there is plenty of room but the footbeds that come with the shoe are high quality

Perfect shoe for me!

The toe box is deep and shaped like my feet! The forefoot cushioning keeps my Morton’s neuroma from hurting. The arch support! Great! The flatness works well. Just a great shoe!

Comfy arch support

I have high arches and these shoes are perfect as I segue into the fall & winter - can wear with dresses, skirts & pants

So comfortable and plenty of toe room

The toe box in these is amazing. My foot is medium- wide in the toe area and I have plenty of room in these. I usually purchase a 10 in Taos and the 41 are perfect. I've always struggled with flats (too narrow and not enough arch support) and love the support these provide. My only complaint is that the Velcro seems pretty cheap for the cost.

So comfortable

Extremely comfortable and supportive right out of the box. I wear size 9 and have a wider foot; however, I had no issues with this shoe.

Fun shoes!

These shoes are comfortable and stylish. They help make any outfit fun and cute. I can walk in them all day without foot pain and the color is especially festive for Christmas, although I plan on wearing them year round.

Ultimate style

Beautiful shoes. I would have loved to wear them, but although they felt very supportive under my arch the footbed was far too wide for my narrow feet, and the left shoe was a tad too short. Sorry to return them. I’ve exchanged them for another style.

Supportive and Easy Walking Shoe

This is my second pair of Ultimate shoes. I love the dressier style of these shoes and the colors. . . I have red and blue. They are just right for dressier occasions AND they are a dream to walk in. I wore my latest pair all day right out of the box.

Incredibly comfortable

I’m very glad I bought these. I need arch support and wanted shoes to where to work that are supportive, comfortable and attractive and these did not disappoint.

Loovvvveee!

I am a 32 years nurse. Lots of feet problems. Injections, surgeries, lots of pain. This is the only brand that supports my arches without added an orthotic. I own 6 pair. They are always stylist which keeps me coming back. Most comfort shoes are to old lady looking.

Endless Comfort!!!

I simply adore these shoes and how they make me feel even when standing and walking 12 hours per day, 5 days per week as a teacher! I NEVER seek to slip on a pair of slippers as they are 110% comfortable! They provide excellent balance which was completely unexpected! My posture feels "different" in a most positive way! Less knee and back fatigue for certain! I have an affinity for Mary Jane styled shoes which is what guided me to TAOS initially else I would never have found this phenomenally crafted shoe. Beyond superb customer service as well! My only wish? A deep rich brown option. . . I would buy two pairs instantaneously!

Most comfortable shoes ever!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They feel like there is no pressure anywhere and the wider toe box is comfortable for all feet! They are beautiful and they look great with jeans or a sundress. Bought a red pair and a pair of beautiful sandals for summer traveling. Putting my tennis shoes away!!

Great wide toe box. . . pretty leather and quality. I am an 8 and 1/2 so I never know what size . . . the 9 is a bit roomy. . . excellent with socks. I'll be ordering another pair in a different color. . . Taos makes great shoes

Comfortable and Stylish

I have found this pair of Mary Jane’s to be perfect for everyday casual wear. The materials are sturdy, yet attractive. I find them both comfortable and stylish and have been enjoying wearing them for over a month.

Love My Red Ultimates...but

The shoes are awesome - great arc support, comfortable, fit true to size, and really cute. However, I'm noticing that the color (I have the red pair) are scuffing and becoming a little discolored in areas. I'm not hard on my shoes and don't randomly walk into doors, rocks, curbs, etc. so I'm not thrilled with the easily caused discolorations/scuffs on a pair of shoes at this price point. Love them - just wish they were more durable with the coloring.

Love the look and comfort

Love the look and comfort of these shoes! Wear them to work nearly every day. I did need to add a small gel heel cushion to the back as I initially developed blisters due to rubbing; but with that, they are super comfortable and my favorite shoes. Would repurchase in a minute!

I was really looking forward

I was really looking forward to having this shoe, but so disappointed that it just didn't fit my foot shape so I returned it. The leather is not soft and it cut into the top of my foot. It was certainly wide enough, but hit at the wrong place. I returned them, sadly.

Very cute shoes but run short. The arch is in the correct place but the toe box runs short. I usually buy a 10 in Aetrex and Vionic but a Taos 41 runs short. Need to size up. Im returning for a 42. Wish sizing was more accurate for the price you pay.

I love these. Bought basic black to give them a try and went back for a second color!! Seriously considering a third! So comfortable. Can wear for work or after work and just as comfy either setting! One of my new favorite go to shoe style and brand

I love these shoes. I got the red ones and they go with everything and they were comfortable right out of the box that I was able to walk around France with no problems. I get lots of compliments on them as well.

Crummy feet

I appreciate these shoes soooo much. One of the only styles I can wear with my feet. Wide toe bed, good support AND cute!

Ever since I received my Taos shoes( the one in the image above) I have been extremely delightful, very happy and extremely satisfied. Those are the most comfortable, and lightweight shoes to ever wear . I’ve been looking for a long time and I finally found your shoes . I had a pair approximately 15 years ago and I wore those shoes all the way out, I mean out. !! I traveled to Africa with no other shoes and my feet were so protected and felt great . This is my comment regarding the shoes I ordered and will order again , they are phenomenal to my well being especially since traveling is soon and walking will be required and a great deal of walking . Shoe Heaven

These shoes are amazing! I absolutely adore them. My feet have been very sore, and I wore these an entire day right out of the box with no pain whatsoever! Well made, and the Stone color is a color that goes well with everything. I'm going to be purchasing these in more colors!

These shoes are so comfortable!

These shoes are so comfortable! I gave them a little break in. , Although I’m not sure they needed it. As a teacher, I was a little hesitant about the price, but as a teacher, I need quality shoes. These definitely fit the bill. i’m so thankful I bought them.

These ate a winner! The color, which I went back and forth on, is exactly what I expected and will match with a lot. As always, the quality and comfort is outstanding, as Taos always is. Worth the price. . . I know I'll get lots of wear for years to come.
