Great for problem feet-cute and comfy!

I have the most ridiculous problem feet - flat feet plantar fasciitis a very wide foot with a very narrow heel and finding a shoe to fit is nearly impossible. I usually have to buy too long just to get a shoe wide enough which means the arch is never exactly where it needs to be for my flat feet. This causes tired arches throbbing Achilles tendons and even knee pain. I bought this shoe about 2 months ago and it was a perfect fit from day 1. No heel pain no floppy clown shoe proper arch support and even my knee pain is less noticeable when I wear these....and they look great. Very slimming and they wear well with skirts or jeans. This has been my favorite pair of shoes EVER! I would love to see some wide width close-toed shoes from Taos....I would be a convert for life!

Perfect shoes for imperfect feet!

First, I hace terrible feet with arthritis pain, bunions, plantar fasciatis, and sensitive skin. So finding comfy reliable shoes for walking and travel is such a chore. Based on reviews I ordered these and another pair of Taos sandals for an upcoming trip to Europe. The arrived, I tried them on and packed them, and we left for the trip. I have now worn these or the other pair every single day, all day, for the past two weeks while walking for miles on uneven roads. Each pair truly is comfortable right out of the box with no wear-in required, and feel orthopedic while looking perfectly stylish and pretty for casual or dressy outfits. I actually feel better walking in them, with more energy to walk since my feet don't hurt or strain at all! Excellent for the PF as I have had no symptoms since wearing them. Very soft on my skin so no blisters, and also strong and supportive for arches and ankles. Adjustable for swollen feet. I just love these shoes! About to buy more!

Comfortable & attractive

Love the bronze color, these sandals feel great right out of the box. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis in one foot, and Morton's neuroma in the other. So the support is essential. These will be my summer travel sandal when I expect to do a lot of walking.

GREAT FOR HIGH ARCH BUNION 7 PLANTAR FASCIITIS

I have a bunion on my right foot and have suffered one stress fracture after another. Most recently I developed Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot. I was introduced to this shoe while visiting Sedona AZ in March. Ive found the shoe so comfortable I have now purchased it in 5 colors! It works for my bunion and gives good arch and heel support for the Plantar Fasciitis. I can wear this shoe all day in comfort. Did I mention it is also attractive on my foot? It looks great with slacks crops or skirts. It does run small. Normally I wear a size 40 (9). In the Trulie I wear a size 41.

Great for wide feet & plantar fasciitis!

I have very wide feet and a narrow heel as well as plantar fasciitis and scar tissue from surgery for mortons neuroma. These shoes are incredible. No foot pain. They fit will and as an added bonus they are really cute! I have multiple pairs in most of the colors. Love them.

My feet wept with joy!

I have wide feet high arches and plantar fasciitis. When I slid my foot into the first shoe I wanted to weep with joy! My tender aching foot sighed with relief as it came to rest in this shoe. As a teacher I am on my feet all day. By the end of the day my feet are throbbing with pain. Not any more! Thank you. I wish I could afford to purchase a dozen pairs!

Although the most expensive sandles I've ever purchased these are keepers. Wonderful arch support for my plantar fasciitis nice adjustable fit for my wide width great neutral color and attractive for such practical needs.

Taos Trulie sandals are extremely comfortable for all day, everyday wear and perfect for traveling. I now have two pair of black, a pair of navy and just purchased a pair in bronze. The adjustable soft leather woven straps can be loosen/ tighten over toes and around ankle. They have arch support and suburb cork- polyurethane footbed that help me feel like I am walking on air. I live in Forida and wear these sandals everyday all year long. I highly recommend Taos Trulie Sandals I am sure you will agree when you purchase a pair.

Best sandals EVER - Super supportive and flattering

I have wide feet severe chronic Achilles tendonitis and need good arch support. These sandals are the most comfortable shoes Ive ever worn and did not need any time to be broken in. The support of the foot bed is amazing and the style is very flattering on the foot. I usually wear a 37 but I bought a 38 for the added width on the foot bed. Its a tiny bit long but the adjustable straps make that a non-issue. I hope to buy many more Taos shoes!

Wonderfully comfortable sandals and stylish.

I had a double bunionectomy and subsequent nerve damage. I also have extremely high arches and very narrow feet. As a result I have to wear orthotics. It makes it pretty difficult to find good looking AND comfortable shoes much less sandals. Decided to try these. I put them on when they arrived and was able to wear them all afternoon and into the evening. I am extremely pleased with the comfort and the style. Size was also right on... I definitely recommend these shoes.

Stylish and Comfortable for high arches and a bunion

I have a bunion on my left foot and seemingly NO shoe has been comfortable. I tried these on and was in heaven. The arch support is an added bonus. They come in so many colors I had a hard time choosing my 2nd pair. Guess Ill have to buy 3! Thank you Taos for these super comfortable ultra stylish shoes! You now have a lifetime customer!

Wonderful on my feet!

I have plantar fasciitis and wide feet so finding comfortable stylish shoes is a real challenge. These shoes are super cute dreamy to walk in give tons of support for my heel and arches are full adjustable with velcro closures and worth every penny I paid for them.

Best Sandal for plantar fasciitis

I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for the last three years and these are the only sandals I can wear now, they have great arch support, they are cute and comfortable. I am glad I found them!

Every feature I wanted

I was looking for comfortable sandals nice enough to wear to work but casual enough for weekends. I knew the minute I saw these at a local shoe store I had found my sandals. These have great comfort features: adjustable straps on both toes and high on the instep extra leather for the straps around the toes a raised heel. great arch support and nubuck foot bed. Im in heaven. Worth every penny.

Stylish AND incredibly comfortable. I

Stylish AND incredibly comfortable. I wish I had discovered this brand sooner. The first time I wore them was for a full evening - about 4-1/2 hours. Absolutely comfortable the entire time. I have bunions on both feet. The gap between the cross straps was perfect. The beige/light tan color of the straps and the foot bed eliminated the sometimes unsightliness of my foot with bunion. I also have high arches. The adjustability was excellent - no pressure points anywhere.

MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE EVER

I bought a pair and went to Las Vegas. I walked all week and had no pain. I have had lumbar back surgery knee surgery and foot surgery. I could never have walked as much without these shoes. I came home and ordered 3 more pairs in different colors. With Mortons Neuroma in my right foot I was so comfortable and was able to really enjoy myself without distractions of pain. Very supportive of my high arches. LOVE them!!!!!

Worth it!!

These are great. I was in Arlington on vacation and saw a shoe store with all these supportive shoes. I was in a lot pain from plantar fasciitis for several weeks and sightseeing was hurting me so much. I got these shoes and felt better right away because of the support. It took some time for my foot to heal but now I can wear these all day long with no issues!! Definitely worth the money!

Amazing Fit!

I have a horrible time finding shoes for my wide feet with bunionettes (on pinky toe side). I also have plantar fasciitis. These were so comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in period at all. These are even better than Oofos & Gravity Defyer in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and buy these shoes!!

Comfort and support

I have a narrow heal and wide toes -- and little bunions forming. It has always been difficult to find shoes that fit well. But these sandals are SO COMFORTABLE!! They give incredible arch support while still being flexible; the straps adjust to account for varying widths of heels and toes. They only caveat is that due to the braided straps give them a few days to break in. I am on my second pair ~ I just love them.

Comfortable and stylish

I love Taos shoes! I have 8 pairs in different styles and colors for every occasion. The cork footbed and arch support are what make the shoes so comfortable. I have a high arch and can’t wear flat shoes so these are perfect for my feet. I also love that all straps are adjustable for a custom fit. These shoes are also well made and stylish. A girl has to look good!

Comfortable Sandals

This sandals are very comfortable. I have very bad feet from years of ballet and these are one of the very few shows I can wear all day. Not super chic but cute enough to wear with summer jeans and skirts. Great quality and arch support.

Best sandals Ive ever owned

I have horrible feet - orthotics since I was 23 for plantar fasciitis and heel spurs (on my 3rd pair at 30 y/o) and while flip flops are awful for your feet summer is just too hot for full shoes! I came across reviews for these and while I was a bit concerned with the price I decided it must be worth a shot. I can easily wear these sandals to work (including walks to/from transit) all day at work and then again to/from transit on my way home and my feet dont hurt. They are INCREDIBLE.

Fit great! I’ve had ongoing

Fit great! I’ve had ongoing issues with bunions for the past few years. This makes finding sandals, that are comfortable and look great, a real challenge. Finally, I’ve found a cute pair of sandals that are dressy enough to wear with a casual dress or slacks, and give me the support and comfort I need. I’ll be buying more of this style and Taos in general!

Absolutely LOVE the Trulie

This is my second pair of Trulie sandals. I had been eyeing this color, and then it went on clearance! I was so happy to snag such a deal. I travel a lot and these shoes are so comfortable straight out of the box. Great for relieving plantar fasciitis. I love the adjustable Velcro straps. Shoe can be dressed up or down. Very versatile.

Cute Supportive Sandal

Love this sandal. The bronze color works with so much in my wardrobe. The arch support is awesome. I thought the heel would be too much, but it is perfect. It also looks so nice on my foot. I have arthritis and bunions, but it does not show with this style.

More supportive than expected for a sandal

I have high arches and narrow feet. I loved my old Taos Jive 2 dress shoes so I did not hesitate to try Taos for sandals. But I expected them to be flat, rub on my heels and toes, and not be supportive, just because that’s how every sandal is. But these are not! They have a slight heel, a decent arch, and adjustable straps. I can practically run in them. They are more supportive of my weak ankle than I would have thought. I never twisted my ankle during our week long trip to Hawaii except in my tennis shoes- Never in my Taos!

My favorite sandal! This is the fourth pair of Trulie’s that I’ve purchased. The Trulie is designed to fit any foot because the straps are adjustable. The heel height is perfect for my feet as I cannot wear a flat sandle nor a tall wedge due to my high arch and weak ankle. These are supportive and comfortable for walking or wearing all day.

Great support for flat feet

These sandals are great for my flat feet. Excellent arch support fully adjustable stylish and extremely comfortable. along with the Sadie sandal these are the best shoes that I have purchased in years.

So Comfortable

The moment I put these shoes on I knew they were going to make a difference. I have very high arches and these shoes support my arches. I also have a small bunion starting and there is support for the bunion. All in all these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever bought. The workmanship will also ensure these sandals will last for a very long time.

Good bye achy feet

This sandals are extremely comfortable and give me all the support I need, I have plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes I can wear now without the pain. I have three pairs so far and my only complain is that sometimes the sizing is not consistent, but the returns and exchanges are easy.

Great fit and support!

I love the fit of these sandals. I have a slightly high arch and instep with a fairly narrow foot. It is difficult to find a pair of sandals that feel secure on my foot. These are wonderful. I would love to see them in navy!

Love these! Five Stars

I love these and bought a second pair this year the first pair is going strong and is in its third year. I have bunions and these have a nice open space in the strap where the bunion is. When I bought them I was thrilled and thought whoever designed these must have had bunions. Great comfort and quality. I tried to give five stars on all but the computer wont let me give more than 4.

Most supportive and comfortable sandal ever

Found a pair in my size at a thrift store for $12. Fit is amazing and the style disguises my worsening bunion (due to rheumatoid arthritis). Bought another color at the local Tao's shoe store for $166. 😳 (Averaging the two, I got a great deal! 😉) They are so incredibly comfortable and suitable to wear with summer dresses, capris, and shorts. I love them!

Best sandals ever

I have the worst feet ever. In addition to being wide I have a bone spur that usually requires an orthotic as well as a horrible bunion. I wore these sandals as is all over Paris. One day I walked 9 .5 miles. They were amazingly comfortable. My feet never hurt. They are absolutely the best sandals I ever had.

Great for walking

I was skeptical that a sandal could truly be a good walking shoe. I’ve tested these out, and they are wonderful. I’ve worn custom orthotics for 30 years. It’s nice to find a summer sandal I can count on.

Best Support of Any Shoe I Have Ever Worn

These have the best support of any shoe I own or have ever tried to wear. I have several issues in my left ankle... Post Tib Tendonitis, Tarsal Tunnel Impingement and Plantar Fac. This line of Taos shoes are the only shoes I can wear without pain. I wear them every day from the moment the weather is warm enough in the spring to the moment it isn't in the winter. My only complaint is they tend to wear out faster than I would like and they are expensive to replace. I wish Taos would make a casual closed toe athletic sneaker with this style arch support and an 10-14mm elevated heel hight like the typical running shoe. I have tried the sneakers they sell with their proprietary insole and the soles are way too flat for my ankle to handle. PLEASE TAOS, please do not stop selling this exact style and shape sole and arch support height. I have tried several of your other lines and none of them compare to this. I am seriously considering moving to a year round warm climate just to avoid having to wear something else in the winter.

Great sandal

I love the feel of these shoes when I’m wearing them. They are so comfortable and great quality. I have trouble with my balance due to my flat feet and these provide enough arch support that my balance is greatly improved. I usually wear size 8.5 but in these sandals I had to order up to the 40 (9 - 9.5).

Finally *A just right sandal*

I have a terrible time getting any shoe that has the right heel height good arch support and not too hard or soft. I bought 2 pairs and wore them constantly without back pain. Amazing!

I saw these sandals on

I saw these sandals on another woman at a warm vacation destination this past winter. With the ‘Taos’ brand name subtly imprinted on the outside of the strap I could tell the brand and immediately looked them up. I added them to my Taos cart and kept coming back to them over the next few months. My only hesitation was the very hefty price tag…I had never spent that much for a pair of winter boots-never mind sandals! But, I finally ordered them and I am glad I did. The stone color is so versatile and the style makes them perfect with a dress or jeans. I can see these being the daily sandal on any trip with lots of walking, and for any evening out during the warm months, as well as on ‘errand day’. They are comfortable with perfect arch support and adding a little height. I have already received compliments and inquiries. These will remain next to my other Taos sandals bedside, all summer, as I will be wearing one or the other every day!

Buy these shoes for comfort and if you have a narrow foot.

I LOVE these shoes. I wear an 11N shoe and have a really hard time finding that size especially in a sandal. I also have fallen arches so I need support. I saw these at The Walking Company and fell in love. They have two hook and loop straps so that I can make them as tight as I want and they have a great arch which supports my feet. Theyre so comfortable. I got them the day before I went on a 12 day trip through Europe with lots of walking and did not have even one blister or any discomfort. I wish I could buy them in every color. I originally bought the Camel color because it blended with my skin when Im tan and then bought the Stone which is lighter (I actually thought they were a little more gray) but I really like the color.

Good option

Lightweight, nice style , adjustable straps perfect for narrow feet. 4**** because I can feel the velcro and braided strap on my skin when walking and the arch support not as good as Birkenstocks or Vionic brands, especially at over CAD 200!

This is the second pair

This is the second pair I bought to replace my first pair that lasted for many (6?) years. They are the same as the first pair, comfortable for walking, good arch support and cushioning. The straps are adjustable in every direction.

Wow hesitated purchasing due to the cost but must say it is worth every penny. Comfort the moment I slipped it on. No pinch rub slip or nip anywhere on my feet. The adjustable straps allow for my bunion to have all the room it needs and for the ankle to have room for any swelling. Love the adjustable straps for easy on and off access. Trulie love this shoe and getting another pair in different color.

I Own Five Pair

I have large bunions and am prone to pain in the balls of my feet. These shoes are so comfy I bought pairs in 5 different colors--purchased over several years--thanks to the cushioned soles and adjustable straps. This is pretty much the only shoe I wear in warm weather The bronze color works well when I need to look dressier. The colors closest to my skin tone are most flattering with bare legs.

Well fitting shoes!

I have narrow feet fallen arches narrow heel and a bunion which makes finding shoes a challenge. These fit wonderfully and adjust well with no gaping areas. The shoe store I bought them at even adjusted the strap slightly for me so that they fit even better. Love the supportive arch and slight padding. Will wear as an everday sandal and will work with skirts too.
