Amazing comfort and fit

One of the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. I have the Gift 2 as well from Taos and these are just as comfy. If I ever come across a black one I would definitely purchase again. The footbed is soft yet firm and comfortable and my plantar fasciitis does not act up with these on. My bunions also are hidden well and yet feel good against the leather. This is my 4th pair of sandals from Taos and I also own another 3 or 4 of their boots and shoes. Love the brand! Worth the price.

I suffer with an Achilles

I suffer with an Achilles tear( waiting for surgery) plantar fasciitis, a bunion and severe arthritis. These feel and look wonderful! I’m a 9 1/2 and bought the 10, it’s perfect. I have narrow feet but these aren’t too wide or too narrow. Feel heavenly! 😛

Say yes to Cute and comfy!

These shoes are comfortable and cute! I have plantar fasciitis and need some travel sandals for vacation, these are great. I love the leather, and the soles are great as well. There is good support in the arch as well.

Fun, comfortable sandal

The Guru sandals are very comfortable (my feet are medium width, slightly high arch), true to size, and very well made. The only thing that was slightly disappointing is that the leather is a bit shiny which I didn't see in the photos - but someone else might love this, it's just a personal preference. They're high quality, as every Taos shoe or sandal I've ordered has been. In most ways I like them actually more than I expected to. And their shipping was very efficient. I'm sure I'll love them for years to come. I don't have any foot issues, so I can't speak to that, but they are super comfortable for anyone who needs that (and who doesn't like comfort?).

Love these!

I have high arches/instep plus a wide foot at the base of my toes and once these break-in a bit I think they will be an everyday sandal. The leather is soft and it doesn't rub at all. It could stand a little more arch support for my foot but definitely has more than most. Very comfortable! I have the tan color and they will go with pretty much everything in my closet. Glad I ordered these!!

I really wanted to LOVE

I really wanted to LOVE these shoes. I do love the style, the quality of how soft and smooth they are, the look of how it can easily go with a variety of outfits, but the arch support is a little lacking. I have other Taos shoes and have always been well pleased with arch support to help with plantar fasciitis. These just don’t quite measure up. However, if you don’t need the extra arch support I would recommend these. They are one of those shoes you need to try before you buy.

Extremely comfortable

Comfortable right out of the box. Very soft supple leather. I’ve had some sandals made this way that cut into my toes, but I’m very impressed with the softness. My foot is on the narrow side with high arches and it fits pretty well without much slipping. Arches could be a little higher for my liking but it was supportive enough to order another pair!

I love my new Guru

I love my new Guru slides! So comfy right out of the box! I've wanted these sandals for awhile and finally took the plunge! I have ugly feet. Bunions and hammer toe, I can only wear certain shoes to be comfortable. Many Taos fit the bill. Guru in particular, comfy to my bunions and toe, plus the style HIDES both, which is a bonus for sure! The sole is super comfy and supportive. I will be wearing these all summer for everyday to out at night!

Glad I waited for these!

Great sandals, comfortable right out of the box. The arch support is especially important for those with high arches, to prevent foot fatigue on long days of walking. No annoying “slapping” sound, either!

Cute and supportive

I have very high arches, and while no sandal is comparable to having my orthotics, the sandal is very comfortable and supportive. I am between two sizes, and ended up keeping the load of the two.

Immediately comfortable and versatile

I bought these sandals to wear out to dinner while on vacation, but they were so comfortable that I wound up wearing them during the day while sightseeing as well. The inside material and footbed were immediately comfortable and provided much-needed arch support. The top leather is soft and moves with me. I did need a tiny Band-Aid to cover one spot on my big toe the first day, but they were great after that. I wore them with sundresses, travel pants, and jeans - they are so versatile.

Great sandal! I have narrow

Great sandal! I have narrow low loft feet and have struggled to find a good sandal but the Guru is perfect! I usually wear a size 7 1/2 but with no half sizes, ordered the 8 and it fits beautifully. They are very comfortable to walk in despite struggling with plantar fasciitis.

Guru sandal

These are my go to slides/sandals. I was skeptical how well they’d fit, but they are perfect. I’m an 11 with a narrow foot. I use them as slippers too bc I had severe plantar fasciitis & I don’t walk on ceramic tile barefoot. Love them !

This is my second pair

This is my second pair of the Guru sandal. It is extremely comfortable and supports my high arches. I can walk miles in them without foot pain. They are very attractive and extremely well made.

Great shoe for folks with bunions. I feel like a normal human being when I wear these. Checks all the boxes; fit, looks, comfort and quality!!

Great Sandals, Weird Feet

I love the way the Guru sandals look. I wore them grocery shopping the first day and they felt super comfortable. I was complimented on them as I went in. As I came out I was cussing and doing child-birth breathing to make it to the car because they’d rubbed blisters on the top of my pinkies. I’m pretty sure for most people that wouldn’t be a problem, but my pinkies tend to lift skyward (all the time). For me, they would be much more comfortable if there was a one-piece, soft, smooth- leather lining on the woven part. The foot-bed feels great, they ran true to size and accommodate my bunions well. I thought about returning them, but I really do like them so much that I’m going to wear them with silicon pinkie sleeves or blister band-aids. I love the brown color, but would really like to be able to buy a red pair as well.

I probably should have returned

I probably should have returned these as they are short but I didn’t because they don’t come in half sizes. I didn’t return for two reasons. The footbed is sooo comfortable and supportive. Secondly, the leather “strips” of the sandal are placed closer together than other sandals I’ve tried that allowed my bunion to protrude in the space. I’m fairly confident that, as I wear them, the leather will stretch and my foot will slide further into the footbed and not be so short.

Super satisfied!!

Like slippers right out of the box❤️ I wear an 8 1/2 but they only come in whole sizes so ordered both an 8 & a 9. The 8 fit like a glove, just long enough in the front & back. The 9 was way too wide & sloppy on me so will return it. Taos has become my favorite brand. The shoes I’ve ordered have just the right amount of arch & accommodate my bunions on both sides. Pleased with the quality as well given that they’re on the pricy side. Super satisfied👍

Beautiful, comfy shoe (even for wide feet)

I am giving 4 stars because I love TAOS and this shoe is beautiful. You can tell the sole is super comfortable. However, I have to return because I have wide feet AND Tailors Bunions (bunionettes on pinky toes). So, if you have wide feet and those-- these will cause pain. I think if just have wide feet (not too wide, maybe just a D)- this WILL work for you. These stretch to a wide and are super comfortable. Hope this helps.

Comfy AND flattering!

I have bunions so I have trouble finding flattering shoes that are also comfortable. These Tao sandals are both! I trekked around Boston my first time wearing them and they as comforable as slippers! Soft supportive soles and beautful leather uppers

I’m really enjoying my Guru shoes. There were comfortable right out of the box. I have a bunion on my right foot and the leather is soft and doesn’t cause my foot to hurt.?

Comfortable guru sandals

These sandals are so comfortable. Right out of the box they felt good with a great arch support and supple leather upper. The color goes with anything. I have worn them often and walked many miles and they only feel better as they age.

Perfect summer sandal

Very stylish and comfortable sandals. They look great with shorts or a casual dress. The sole is substantial and offers support, so definitely a shoe I can wear all day. Very high quality shoe.

Comfy

I could wear these all day and night and never have sore feet. I have wide feet and I did buy a shoe stretcher only because I like loose shoes otherwise they would have been fine. I have purchase two other styles from Taos and love them all. They are my new go to shoe brand

Love the style. Have bunion

Love the style. Have bunion and don’t like how narrow strap sandals look. Issue I have is with a long, size 11, narrower foot the leather is not snug so foot moves around now. I expect it would work better for wider foot bed.

Very comfortable

It’s hard for me to find comfortable shoes due to neuropathy. These fit great, stay on my feet and are now a favorite!

Very comfortable

These sandals run true to size (I wear size 7 and got them in size 7), are very comfortable, and the quality is good. They are a little wide for my narrow feet and the style is - sturdy - as opposed to pretty and more feminine. I could add a strip of moleskin to the inside of the top of the sandals to narrow them up a little. And then, if I keep them, I just need to get over the style because as I mentioned they are really comfortable. If I keep them I will probably only wear with jeans.

Comfortable but not the expected arch support

The Guru shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7, which fits well. However, I was surprised that they don't have the same arch support my other Taos sandals have. I love the great arch support in my Trophy & Prize sandals and expected these to have the same. They are well-cushioned, but don't have the built-up arch. I'm keeping them but probably won't be able to wear them for long periods of time.

A comfortable, supportive sandal to

A comfortable, supportive sandal to easily slip on, great for standing on hard floor kitchen floor. The R shoe rubs a bit on the top of my big toe but leather is supple and seems to be stretching out with wear. Shoe was initially a bit wider than average and feels like it will easily stretch more, fine for my feet may be too loose for a narrow foot. Versatile and easy to wear with most everything.

As someone who needs really

As someone who needs really solid arch support and a deeper heel as I deal with osteoarthritis, these sandals are terrific. They are soft, but offer the necessary support to walk pain-free all day long. I was hesitant to spend so much on sandals, but I will attest that Taos is worth the price as their comfort pays dividends all day long!

Comfortable

These are beautiful slides. Comfort is spot on for the most part but I feel like the arch support may not be as supportive. And in one of my shoes is a slight lump where the metatarsal support is. and size up!

Happy Feet

Ample amount of leather gives support and better fit to my narrow feet. Very comfortable, able to wear for long periods of time. Just correct amount of arch support and cushioning

Great foot-hugging sandal

Pretty comfortable but a little snug. I expect the leather weave will loosen with wear. Like all my Taos sandals, great arch support and foot-bed comfort.

I like a slide in

I like a slide in sandal, but they need to be comfortable and easy to walk in without sliding around my foot. These, while they seem on the flat side, offer excellent support for my arch without causing foot pain. They are easy to wear without being too tight or too loose. They are so comfortable I bought a second pair in another color.

Fun Sandles

Comfortable sandals. I generally wear orthotics however cannot with sandals so I like to purchase with a very pronounced arch. In this case sandals are good enough to keep just not a daily wear for me because of the arch. If I did not have this issue these could be worn daily.

Comfy, Supportive, and Attractive

I knew as soon as I took them out of the box, they would be my fave. I have back issues, bunyons, flat feet. They're so comfy, supportive, and attractive. My back feels better, and I love wearing them, which I do all the time.

My feet are narrow with a high arch and these fit like a glove. They are very comfortable and look good with everything.

Zen Comfortable

I really love the woven leather tops, similar to Mexican made Huaraches. I bought them for my daughter who already has a wide foot and she gave them back to me because they made her foot look even wider. I have a narrow foot, so they need to be at least a half inch tighter to be a little more snug as they will stretch even more with use. My favorite new $$$ slipper. They can be worn out and about as well. They just look a little too comfortable. Tighter would fix that.

Beautiful & Comfortable Leather Sandals

I usually wear an 8½ and started with an 8 but needed a 9. The exchange process was simple and I received the replacements in 2 days. I've had 6 foot surgeries on my right foot and have trouble finding sandals that fit and hide my very scarred foot. The footbed on these sandals is extremely comfortable and has some cushion and cooling effect. The upper leather is soft and flexible but supportive. These look great with shorts, dresses and pants.

You won't regret purchasing these. . . .

So. . . . . . comfortable! It's like walking on clouds. My feet usually hurt every day from walking on them all day long. These are so soft, and comfortable. Support in all the right places. Since they didn't come in half sizes, I normally wear an 9 or 9 1/2 went up to a size 10. Fit perfect with the 10.

Taos makes the most comfortable

Taos makes the most comfortable sandals ever! The Guru slip on sandals do not fail. They are made with care and great quality material. I have so many Taos sandals and there is not another sandal I will purchase because right out of the box the comfort and perfect sizing is unbeatable. Love this brand!

Comfortable, cute, quality materials, and stylish. I have a slightly high instep and they took a little time to break in. On a hot day I did notice that they are warmer than most sandals with the wide leather band and material of the footbed. I get tons of compliments on them.

I love these shoes! The color is accurate, the fit is amazing, and she is great quality. I can wear them all day because they are so comfortable and also stylish for day and night. I highly recommend them and am grateful they come in a wide width. They are true to size also.
