Love the quality and look

I have been wearing these sandals off and on for about a week on vacation and they have held up nicely and are very comfortable. I get foot pain easily (plantar fasciitis) and can’t stand flat shoes and these have a good amount of support and cushion. They fit true to size I believe. The leather straps are beautiful and seem to be great quality. I hope to wear these for a long time.

Love them! Good support for someone with over pronation, flat feet, bunions and plantar fasciitis. Normally have to wear athletic shoe everywhere, this sandal give me a cute option to wea with dresses and shorts!

I love these shoes! Comfortable

I love these shoes! Comfortable right out of the box. I have worn them for 10 days walking around Europe and have had no pain or discomfort. I have fallen arches and plantar fasciitis and usually have to add arch support to my shoes, but these are so comfortable!

Cinderella

I saw these at a shoe store and instantly new I was taking these home. I always wore. Different brand for the wide to box and arch support so I was worried these wouldn’t match my needs…but the moment my foot slipped into it, it was like a Cinderella story. They are sooooooooo cuteeeeee!!!! I get all the compliments. I have plantar fasciitis and have had shots in my arch. . so a good fitting shoe is mandatory. I wear for a standing job 8 hour day.

Bring back the Black!

This shoe has been great for my metatarsalgia, and as a teacher on my feet all day, extremely supportive. I like this footbed particularly as compared to other Taos shoes that I own, because it is evenly flat - I have two other styles that dip right into my ball-of-foot which over a long day causes pressure right where I need not to have pressure. So, for my foot, these level-bed cork footbeds are fantastic. . . good arch support, and I like the adjustable feature of this buckled version. One of my favs. Now, to get the black back!

Super comfortable, noth straps are adjustable. I have arthritis in my feet and a high arch. So glad to finally find a pair of sandals that look good and are comfortable.

These are comfortable right out of the box. It feels sturdy and great for walking. I have flat feet and over pronate and these are enough arch to be comfortable - and my feet are so picky! Similar to a Birkenstock. The ankle back strap helps them stay on your foot without curling your toes.

They are worth it

Comfortable from the very beginning. These shoes are adjustable for my narrow foot and fully support my high arch. I love them so much that I have purchased every color available.

Beautifully made supportive sandals. The arch support is perfect! No foot fatigue with these beautiful sandals. Very versatile, can be worn as casual or dressed up, dressed, capris, slacks etc. Hreat for a luncheon date or pairs with a skirt for an evening dinner. They give great support and are perfect for wearing for a full day without discomfort. I have found the fit to be true to size, especially with the ability to allow the wearer to customize the comfort of the width of the sandal. Love the beautiful brass buckles with the easy on-off of the Velcro straps. The quality of the materials used in producting this sandal is phenomenal, couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I will be referring the shoes and the company to friends in the future.

Perfect except for one thing

I bought a pair of Moc 2 shoes and walked for miles in them all over Washington, D. C. So when I decided I needed a pair of cork-based sandals for plantar fasciitis issues, I ordered these. They were super-cute on and fit well —- except the back strap hung loosely off my heel. No nice Velcro adjustments there. So sad! I sent them back and have ordered a pair of Sideways. Those should work since I tried them on at a store in a color I didn’t want. Clerk said the lack of heel adjustment was a common complaint in the Double style.

I’m just finishing a two

I’m just finishing a two week trip in Tuscany, walking 25k average steps per day every day. While I haven’t worn these sandals for all of those steps, they’ve taken me through many many of the miles! I’m currently suffering with plantar fasciitis and they’ve helped tremendously.

AWESOME

These sandals are perfection. I have high arches and need support. I could wear these and walk all day long and be very comfortable. They are stylish and go with most anything. I am so happy I bought them.

So comfortable and cute!

These sandals are gorgeous and so comfortable right out of the box. They arrived and went straight to my suitcase never worn for a 3-week vacation where we did lots of walking and I wore these every single day with no comfort issues. One note, on day two of wearing them, I discovered one of the buckles on the sandal had separated stitching and was breaking. I started a warranty claim immediately but was able to put a hair tie around it and make use of these sandals the rest of the trip. I’d expect better craftsmanship given the cost but things happen so hoping it’s just a fluke. Taos sent paperwork to have me return the shoes even though I sent pictures and details; we are awaiting next steps and I’ll update the review if the customer service is lacking (current 4-stars is based on assumption that a new pair will promptly be sent).

These are super comfortable sandals.

These are super comfortable sandals. The cork bed is supportive yet light, making these perfect for day to day and travel as well. They’re a perfect combination of comfortable and fashionable. I wear a size 8. 5-9 and the size 40 is perfect. My only disappointment is the color is not what I expected for “caramel”; it’s not a rich, warm brown, rather the color is on the cool side. I opted to keep the shoe despite the color not being what I thought it would be and I’m happy I did. They’re great sandals,

Leather quality is awesome, delivery

Leather quality is awesome, delivery spot on. Unable to try them on prior to online purchase as not readily available in Australia. Very stylish but buckles appear a little too heavy as I have quite a small ankle but haven’t worn them for long periods, only around home. Love the Velcro adjustable straps for both toe and ankle area. Footbed extremely comfortable

Awesome. Comfortable right out of

Awesome. Comfortable right out of the box (although a couple points rubbed my feet for the first few wears). I can walk for hours in them. Great cushioning and arch support, easily adjustable. And I get so many compliments everytime I wear them. Worth the price, for sure. It’s a gorgeous red color that looks really great with all kinds of outfits.

Feels custom-made

I’m so happy with the look and comfort of these sandals. My feet feel so secure and supported by the footbed and straps. I’ve received compliments on the buckles, to which I can enjoy a voilà, it’s Velcro moment. That makes them easy on and off, yet secure and fitted. As I typically wear orthotics in shoes, I struggle with the flatness of other sandals, which often claim to be supportive. Most others leave me feeling achy and fatigued. But I actually enjoy wearing the OTD, and my dogs can breathe! My hips and knees are happy too.

Nice firm arch support and very comfortable!

I just received these a week ago and couldn’t wait to try them because I need a more firm support surface, not flexible and the reviews were really encouraging on this style due to the cork footbed. And I wore them in the house with low foot socks because I might have needed to return them. But happily I have to say the support is wonderful and my fusion foot is awesomely happy with the firm but comfortable support! When you’ve had bone fusion surgery that foot decides if the shoe will work out.

A Solid Addition to My Collection of Taos

The most comfortable Taos sandal ever. I wore them out of the box the day they arrived. Very comfortable with great arch support. I bought them for a river cruise in another month, but I’m already wearing them. I purchased in blue and so cute with the gold buckles — many compliments. They can be worn with summer dresses, jeans, shorts, slacks, and everything in between.

This was my first purchase from Taos and I love these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and supportive. The soft footbed is amazing and made my feet so happy. Wore them on long days walking in NYC and had no complaints or issues. I shouldn't have packed any other shoes because I just wanted to wear these. Will definitely be ordering more styles from Taos.

On The Double

I ordered these sandals online. I have narrow feet and have difficulty finding sandals that are narrow enough. These sandals are fully adjustable and fit my feet like a dream. I walked for a km straight after I took them out of the box. They are the most comfortable sandals that I have ever owned! No break in period required!My fourth pair of Taos!

I love, love, love everything about these sandals! The fit, quality and comfort is amazing! I've had 3 surgeries for plantar facistis and this is the first pair of sandals I've been able to wear day in and day out in about 2 years! Thank you for such an amazing pair of sandals!

Love! My go-to sandal

These are true to size and are so comfortable right out of the box. I have average width feet and they fit very well. I’ve worn them multiple times for a mile plus each time and no blisters! They also look great with almost anything. I can’t say enough about these. I now have the blue ones and they’re such a pretty color! Taos customer service is unmatched. I had a problem with the buckle portion on one of my shoes and Taos sent me a brand new pair!

I am in love with

I am in love with this sandal. It has what I call the “Lucky” footbed that your heel sits firmly planted, and you can expect the comfort of walking all day. The large buckles give it a fun touch and look nice to dress up or for everyday. Please continue to make more styles with this footbed. If you’re on the fence about making this selection, do it, you won’t regret it.

More colors, please!

These have been my favorite Taos yet. They are supportive, I like that there's not a height differential (I have pain in the ball of my foot that gets aggravated by shoes that land weight there). . . the cork soles are comfy all day. As a teacher on my feet the whole day, these are a win. Please make more colors! I wanted to re-purchase the black.

I bought them for my

I bought them for my Italy honeymoon last fall and it was the perfect purchase. So comfy - enough to walk 16,000+ steps in a day. Good arch support too. And simple enough AND cute enough to dress up or dress down. Highly recommend, and yes worth the $! Also I'm usually a women's U. S. size 6. 5, and the size 37 was perfect.

My new favorite shoes

This is my first pair of Taos shoes. They are worth every penny. Perfect fit, thanks to the Velcro straps, quality leather and hardware, and cork footbeds with support. I wore them for several hours the first day and I am hooked.

Great support and lots of cuteness

Amazingly cute and comfortable !!! Wow. I need a great sandal with comfort and support and the fact that they go with everything that I wear!!! These are fabulous sandals - pricey but so worth it !!!

I love these shoes. I can’t say enough about them. So comfortable & no break in required. I have a pretty significant bunion and these don’t interfere with it at all. I wish they came in more colors!

I love the sandals look,

I love the sandals look, but for me, the top straps need to go a little lower than at the toe line. It’s a difficult to tighten the strap when it’s right on the toe line. I adjust my foot forward as far as I can but then my toes start to hang over the shoe. Other than that, they’re stylish and comfortable. I mostly bought them because they were adorable didn’t have such a high platform. I would love to see more of these with the great support but lower platform.

Very pleased with my purchase

I purchased these sandals for a trip to Argentina because I needed a stylish shoe that could match with many outfits and be comfortable with a lot of walking. This sandal met and exceeded my expectations. When I first tried them on I was a little worried about how the elastic piece would “give” on the back of my foot, but that has not been an issue at all. I’m very pleased with my purchase and happy to have a new sandal for everyday wear this summer.

These shoes are awesome. Everything

These shoes are awesome. Everything from the soles to the buckle is solid and quality. Like the two other pairs I have, the sizing is really wonky though. I normally wear an 8 in every shoe, but ordered a 10 in these because that was all that was left during the sale. They almost fit perfectly! I would definitely size up an entire size. If you are a half size, size up a size and a half.

stylish and comfy

stylish and comfy, walked a fair amount in these. footbed is super soft and supportive. the buckles are heavy but once on your feet you don't really notice. I do wish the bottom and side sole was black rather than white. I had a slight rub with elastic area at the back of the heel but it seems ok now. Wish they weren't quite so expensive but we'll see if they last.

I adore these!!

I waited to review these until I had some put some serious miles on them, and I’m pleased to say that they’ve been the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned, right out of the box. I even walked around Japan for 2 weeks with temps averaging in the high 90’s without a single moment of discomfort.

Best Sandals Ever

I have had a lot of different Taos shoes and sandals over the past years. These are the best sandals I ever bought. They are exceptionally comfortable and they are stable enough to be able to walk my dogs. The velcro makes them fit firmly without any blisters or discomfort. The carmel color is flattering to my skin tone. The big buckles take them up a full notch. I can wear them casually with shorts or dressier with a summer skirt or dress. I get compliiments on them regularly, which I honestly have never gotten with any other Taos sandals. People always ask me what they are and where to get them. I have these in blue and carmel. I wear both, but the carmel are the ones I get the most compliments for. These are my go to shoes. I paid up for them, and I don't regret it. The only people these might not work for are those with very narrow feet, but the velcro might be enough to help there too. Highly recommend

Very cute pair of sandals!

Very cute pair of sandals! I wanted something cute but also comfortable for walking Europe for a month. I saw someone on Instagram say they were so comfortable and they toured Europe wearing them. I was hesitant about the price, but decided to try. They arrived right before I left so I didn’t really wear them until I got to Prague. The first day my feet killed. However, limited with my options I kept wearing them. I have now walked in them a month and they are SO comfortable! At first it was the back of the shoes that seemed sharp against my heels. After another few days they’ve molded to me feet and I love them. I would just wear them around before you’re going to walk 20,000 steps in a day and let them mold to your feet. I’m happy I have them and will wear them as long as they will last me. They’re cute with every outfit too.

Lovely but should have sized down

Love the look and feel of these shoes. Wore them straight out of the box several times without issue. Then one day spent a good amount of time walking in LA. Maybe 4 hours? Ended my day with blisters on the balls of each foot. I thought I might have needed a half size smaller (I’m a 9. 5 and felt they were a bit long for me). I bought the 9 in the light brown. They seem great for short distances but I’ll know for sure when I wear the light brown ones to the Rose Bowl. Will be bringing bandaids just in case.
