Heel is super cushioned and comfy for wide feet

I can't believe a shoe with any heel is this comfortable. I dont know how, but this heel is so bouncy and cushiony that it feels like walking in a well-cushioned tennis shoe. I wear these to work and also walking around town. This is another Taos design where the velcro is adjustable around the toes and also the ankle, which really helps customize the fit. My usual size 8 ran the slightest bit long, so I will probably get half a size down smaller next time. As a wide foot and heavier lady my feet do not get tired wearing these.

My favorite sandals.

I bought these for a trip to Italy and Greece, knowing I would be doing a lot of walking in the heat of summer. We probably covered 5+ miles a day and my feet did great, and sandals looked good with dresses and shorts. I really like that they are adjustable with velcro - if my feet swell in heat, I can easily adjust them.

Perfect shoes for imperfect feet!

First, I hace terrible feet with arthritis pain, bunions, plantar fasciatis, and sensitive skin. So finding comfy reliable shoes for walking and travel is such a chore. Based on reviews I ordered these and another pair of Taos sandals for an upcoming trip to Europe. The arrived, I tried them on and packed them, and we left for the trip. I have now worn these or the other pair every single day, all day, for the past two weeks while walking for miles on uneven roads. Each pair truly is comfortable right out of the box with no wear-in required, and feel orthopedic while looking perfectly stylish and pretty for casual or dressy outfits. I actually feel better walking in them, with more energy to walk since my feet don't hurt or strain at all! Excellent for the PF as I have had no symptoms since wearing them. Very soft on my skin so no blisters, and also strong and supportive for arches and ankles. Adjustable for swollen feet. I just love these shoes! About to buy more!

Trulie style

I like this style because it has the exact heel height that I need to help with my lack of balance. The adjustable toe straps allow for wearability after extensive foot surgery and they are stylish so that I don’t feel like the old woman that I am.

I bought a black pair

I bought a black pair probably 5 years ago and love the style and fit. I went up a size for the new pair since I have moved to a larger size in my other new shoes purchases. I have a narrow foot and I was able to adjust the straps to fit. Love the support. Haven’t had much of a chance to wear them since it has turned cold out.

Taos Trulie sandals are extremely comfortable for all day, everyday wear and perfect for traveling. I now have two pair of black, a pair of navy and just purchased a pair in bronze. The adjustable soft leather woven straps can be loosen/ tighten over toes and around ankle. They have arch support and suburb cork- polyurethane footbed that help me feel like I am walking on air. Comfortable and stylish

I love Taos shoes! I have 8 pairs in different styles and colors for every occasion. The cork footbed and arch support are what make the shoes so comfortable. I have a high arch and can’t wear flat shoes so these are perfect for my feet. I also love that all straps are adjustable for a custom fit. These shoes are also well made and stylish. A girl has to look good!

So Comfy Through Southeast Asia

I purchased these sandals in two colors just before leaving on a trip to Vietnam and Thailand, and they turned out to be the perfect shoe. They kept me cooler than sneakers in the tropical heat, but were still incredibly comfortable for long days of walking — from floating markets and bustling city streets in Saigon and Bangkok to relaxing strolls on the beaches of Thailand. Having them in both dark blue/gray and bone made it easy to match any outfit while traveling light. They're stylish, versatile, and unbelievably comfortable. They turned out to be an excellent choice for travel, and now that I'm home, they're great for everyday wear, too! Highly recommend!

I love these Shoes!

This is probably my 20th pair of these sandals they fit my arches really well they give me a tiny bit of height, but not too much to hurt. My body are comfortable in my knees my back. I’ve never found a better pair of sandals in my life and I’m in my 60s. I have gone to Europe in these Mexico and all over and even taking long walks and little hikes. I would buy these over and over again. !

I love my new Taos

I love my new Taos Trulie sandals. My first purchase from Taos. They are comfy and required no breaking in time for me. The heel height is just right for me. I love the adjustable velcro straps on both the heel and across the top of the foot. I found the fit is true to size.

The best sandals!

I love the Trulies! I have 5 pair. My first pair is 7 years old and I still wear them! They are comfortable from the moment you put your foot in. I can walk for hours in them. I love the adjustable straps. Comes in so handy if your feet swell throughout the day (think of walking around Europe for hours and hours). So much more comfortable than tennis shoes for me!

Stylish AND incredibly comfortable. I wish I had discovered this brand sooner. The first time I wore them was for a full evening - about 4-1/2 hours. Absolutely comfortable the entire time. I have bunions on both feet. The gap between the cross straps was perfect. The beige/light tan color of the straps and the foot bed eliminated the sometimes unsightliness of my foot with bunion. I also have high arches. The adjustability was excellent - no pressure points anywhere.

These are amazing. I have

These are amazing. I have hammer toes and lots of shoes give me blisters but these are wonderful. My only complaint is that I wish they were more flat with a slightly more flexible sole. Also make sure to tighten the toe straps- I got a small blister on my toes after the first wear because the toe straps was slightly loose.

I saw these sandals on

I saw these sandals on another woman at a warm vacation destination this past winter. With the ‘Taos’ brand name subtly imprinted on the outside of the strap I could tell the brand and immediately looked them up. I added them to my Taos cart and kept coming back to them over the next few months. My only hesitation was the very hefty price tag…I had never spent that much for a pair of winter boots-never mind sandals! But, I finally ordered them and I am glad I did. The stone color is so versatile and the style makes them perfect with a dress or jeans. I can see these being the daily sandal on any trip with lots of walking, and for any evening out during the warm months, as well as on ‘errand day’. They are comfortable with perfect arch support and adding a little height. I have already received compliments and inquiries. These will remain next to my other Taos sandals bedside, all summer, as I will be wearing one or the other every day!

Worth it!!

These are great. I was in Arlington on vacation and saw a shoe store with all these supportive shoes. I was in a lot pain from plantar fasciitis for several weeks and sightseeing was hurting me so much. I got these shoes and felt better right away because of the support. It took some time for my foot to heal but now I can wear these all day long with no issues!! Definitely worth the money!

Buy these sandals!!

Thank goodness I bought these sandals for our European vacation because my sneakers weren't nearly as comfy as these were for the warm days walking on the cobblestone streets! I started out in sneakers since it was cooler in Amsterdam but by the time we were in Germany it had warmed considerably and I changed to these sandals and never took them off. again! I can walk miles in them and I have a bad knee!

Amazing Fit!

I have a horrible time finding shoes for my wide feet with bunionettes (on pinky toe side). I also have plantar fasciitis. These were so comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in period at all. These are even better than Oofos & Gravity Defyer in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and buy these shoes!!

Heavenly sandals!

Love these sandals! The quality of these sandals are superior! First time buying Taos with a heel. Looks great with skirts, dresses, shorts and pants! I have a heel spur on my left foot. I wore these all day at work, & no pain at all. They are true to size. I missed out on the natural color. Hoping that color comes back next year! Thank you Taos!

Love my Trulie’s

These are the most comfortable sandals ever. I’ve been wearing them for a long time and hope they never quit making them! I’ve gone on long trips where we have walked all day, thousands of steps, and the next day as well and never a blister and no problem with the continuous days of vacationing. Love this charcoal grey as a neutral color.

SO satisfied!

My friend recommended these sandals to me (she has them in black) when I told her I needed something comfortable to wear for three weeks during an overseas trip to a hot and dry country. These did not disappoint! I wore them every day, sometimes for long hours, and my feet never got tired. The cork bed kept the bottoms of my feet comfortable instead of hot or sore.

Most comfortable sandal ever

This was my first purchase from Taos. I am over the moon about the quality, comfort and fit of these sandals. I have nurse’s feet after being on them for so many years. Absolutely LOVE the Trulie

This is my second pair of Trulie sandals. I had been eyeing this color, and then it went on clearance! I was so happy to snag such a deal. I travel a lot and these shoes are so comfortable straight out of the box. Great for relieving plantar fasciitis. I love the adjustable Velcro straps. Shoe can be dressed up or down. Very versatile.

I bought the dark grey Trulies. I love these sandals! They are cute and are the very best in comfort and arch support. The fact that they are adjustable helps with changing feet. This is my second pair and I will buy more in different colors. I don’t want or need other brands of sandals. If you are contemplating buying them, just go ahead. You will love them!

Excellent sandals

I bough. t my first pair of Taos sandals last summer and love them beyond words. I was excited to get another pair, but I am a little concerned that they might be to short for my feet even though I got the same size last year. I haven't worn them outside yet, so time will tell. Everything about them is great except the length of the sandal, I'm so afraid my toes will hang off.

My "go to" sandals for everything!

I hit the jackpot with these sandals. They are amazingly comfortable - dawn to dusk. I am on my feet a lot all day, even at work with my standing desk and I love the support. There is something -- I cannot put my finger on it -- which makes me want to stand tall and straight when I am wearing these. Also, the heel is a bit higher than some of the other sandals, which makes for an elongated leg look. They are great with dresses and more casual clothes. I have the new bronze color and they go with just about everything. I would love to see them in white for summer!

I love my TAO'S shoes

I have had my pair since 2015 and they have held up well. I was so excited to get them. I am semi-disabled and have balance issues so heels are out of the question. I was excited to get these as they have a small heel. I have bought pairs of TAO's shoes and I highly recommend them. They LAST, they are comfortable and worth every penny.

Comfortable and versatile

This sandal can fit almost anyone because the Z strap adjust so beautifully to conform to the shape of your foot. It’s soft, supportive and comfortable. Wear on dressy or casual occasions. I have it in several colors and is one of my favorite shoes. I bought two pairs for my daughter And they are her favorites also.

These are true to size

These are true to size and fit perfectly. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted 7 years! And I wore them A LOT every single summer. Finally the strap broke and they had to go. Later I realized I could have brought the to the cobbler since there was probably more life left in them!

Great Sandals

I love this sandal! Right now I have it in 4 colors, some of them my second pair of the same color. I have several issues going on with my feet, and these are the only sandals I wear ALL summer. Comfort, support, and pretty too! Just wish you would make it in white. Why is that such a hard color for me to find in the summer? Also, your coral and yellow were gorgeous colors, and could use a nice shade of blue. Please, please, please, please, please?

Love the Trulie sandal! This is my second pair of Trulies. They look great with summer skirts, dresses, and jeans. I have to size down from a 6 to 5-5 1/2 in these. I own seven pairs of Taos sandals, two pairs of boots, and four pairs of sneakers. The foot support in every pair is great!

My absolute favorite sandal

I truly love these sandals. I’m so happy you came out with different colors. Unfortunately my size is out of stock so I’m just gonna have to keep waiting and looking for it to be restocked. They are perfect. They can be dressed up or dressed down, they’re the perfect height. I have Multiple sclerosis and I feel so secure walking in them. I just love them.

Comfy and stylish

These sandals are comfortable from day one. I can walk or stand for hours. The strap across the toe took a little adjusting but overall very comfortable. They are more pink than I expected (was thinking more hibiscus), but still cute. The leather feels good. Haven’t tried the traction on anything but city streets so far.

Good second pair

I have owned several colors of The Show, which are my go-to sandal in the summer. This one is for dressier occasions, slightly higher heel and not quite as comfortable but still a solid choice as I don’t wear this one as long. It does run a bit narrow but still works for my wide foot.

COMFY and UNIQUE

I have had my Taos sandals over 12 years. I bought 2 pairs. I’m still wearing them! I’m ready for a new pair. I get so many compliments on them and inquiries, women of all ages. I’m 67 now and a young lady asked me about them.

Excellent arch support

Some of the more recent taos sandles have not provided the taos support I had become accustomed too. However the Trulie has excellent support for my flat feet & don't need to use the shop bought orthotics. I can wear comfortably all day. I'm usually a size 41, did need to go up to a 42.

Good bye achy feet

This sandals are extremely comfortable and give me all the support I need, I have plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes I can wear now without the pain. I have three pairs so far and my only complain is that sometimes the sizing is not consistent, but the returns and exchanges are easy.

These are such nice sandals. I like the dark gray color and quality. Nice clearance price too. Several reviews say they run short, so I ordered up a size. They were way too big! So that pair is going to a sister, and I ordered another pair in my regular size. They fit perfectly.

Runs small

I ordered a size 11 Wide. They were way too tight and the EU size is smaller than what I get from other companies. I already sent them back for a size 12, no wide available. Unfortunately, I have the length of my dad's feet and width of my mom's feet.

Comfortable & attractive

Love the bronze color, these sandals feel great right out of the box. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis in one foot, and Morton's neuroma in the other. So the support is essential. These will be my summer travel sandal when I expect to do a lot of walking.

Cute Supportive Sandal

Love this sandal. The bronze color works with so much in my wardrobe. The arch support is awesome. I thought the heel would be too much, but it is perfect. It also looks so nice on my foot. I have arthritis and bunions, but it does not show with this style.

Foot Savers

My feet always hurt until I wore a pair of these sandals. Walked all around the cobble stones of Europe for 3 weeks, and they literally saved my feet. Too bad they don't make more styles in wide. I would so love to buy many more, however, there aren't any choices.

My favorite sandal for comfort and style!

This style, I own three in different colors, is my favorite for style and comfort. The deep sole really is comfy on my 73 year old feet! The adjustability is amazing. My corns don’t hurt at all. It really dresses up your look. This color is a great neutral.

Love this shoe

I love this shoe and just bought my third pair. Right from the start this shoe is comfortable and can be worn all day. The arch support is perfect for me. I bought them for work and to wear with dresses but could wear them for any occasion.

Best sandal ever!!!

These were my first pair of Taos. I got them for my Italy trip. I packed four pairs of shoes and these sandals were the only shoes I wore the entire trip. We averaged about 15,000 steps a day. I love these sandals.

I have worn Trulie Taos sandals for over 10 years. They are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. They run a little small. I went up a half size. The Velcro straps make them the perfect fit for a fat or skinny foot

The always sandal

This is my second pair of Teulie. I wore the first pair almost to the exclusion of any other of my summer shoes. I have rheumatoid arthritis and these sandals have helped tremendously. They are very well made and stylish, as well.

Trulie sandals

Love these shoes. I have several pair of Taos sandals. That's all I wear all summer. This is my first in this style. Love the fun color, love the weaving. Also I am now a fan of the slight sedge. Perfect.

This is the second pair I bought to replace my first pair that lasted for many (6?) years. They are the same as the first pair, comfortable for walking, good arch support and cushioning. The straps are adjustable in every direction.

Amazingly good sandal

Amazingly good sandal. We are walking an average of 20,000 steps a day in Spain and my feet feel great. I feel so very lucky that I somehow found this sandal as it has made a world of difference on my trip. Highly recommend it.

My new favorite sandals!

They are beautiful and supportive. I like these so much that I am getting a pair in another color. I have short, wide feet, and the wide size works perfectly. I wish you had more options in the wide width.

This is my 3rd pair

This is my 3rd pair of Trulie! However, I would have only needed one pair as it was my dog that ate the other 2 pairs. Trulie are very well made and are the most comfortable sandal I have ever had.

Great for walking

I was skeptical that a sandal could truly be a good walking shoe. I’ve tested these out, and they are wonderful. I’ve worn custom orthotics for 30 years. It’s nice to find a summer sandal I can count on.

These Taos sandals are my favorite. They are the most comfortable to wear, better than any tennis shoe or flat. I wore them while visiting Spain, Germany & Austria. . . only shoes that I could walk hours in.

Can walk all day

I have a very high arch and the footbed of this sandal fits it perfectly. Adjustable velcro strap works well for those long hot, end-of-the day walks. Going to hate giving them up when the leaves start to fall

I really like the way

Very Comfortable sandal

The sandal is great because it’s got a small heel, great arch, and the straps adjust at the toes, arch and ankle. Also love the cork as it forms better to your feet after wearing.

Comfy, dressy sandals

I ordered Trulie to help with my arch support and Achilles tendinitis. The shoe is very comfortable and no pain is experienced like with flat shoes. I'd recommend this nice casual and dressy sandal!

Comfortable and flirty

I’m delightedly surprised at the comfort of these shoes. Fit is spot on. Adjustable across the toes and instep. Heel is not so high it strains my knee but high enough to feel flirty.

Great arch support

I have been wearing the Trulie since 2021 and have just added steel gray to my wardrobe. The arch support seems to mold to my foot. Really comfortable shoes.

After 22,500 steps in one day my feet did not burn! Usually the balls of my feet are burning after 3 miles and that's wearing tennis shoes.
