Better Than Expected

Let’s face it, this is a fashion sneaker. That being said, it is probably the most comfortable fashion sneaker I have worn. I have severe flat feet & have to wear orthotic arch supports in all my athletic shoes to be able to walk & exercise. I was a little skeptical that these sneakers would provide enough support without my orthotics. At least enough support to wear running errands or for dinner on the town. I am very pleased with the support & plan on taking them on vacation for outings. They won’t be for all day walking or on-my-feet all day activities, but they will give a comfortable choice for social activities.

Zipper is not just for a 'look'

I own 2 pair of the Z Soul sneakers. Purchased them for the zipper 'look' and because of previous positive experience with the Taos LOOP sandals. The zipper is game changer - so easy to slip these shoes on/off with a quick zip. Also, support is wonderful. I battle plantar fasciitis & wear custom orthotics but do not need the orthotics with Taos's great inner soles. Excited to see this come out in a white leather zip option, probably my next purchase! Very happy with this brand!

I wanted to love them, It's me not them

The only reason I gave four stars and not 5 was that the sneaker is very heavy. I have problematic feet and pain. I did have difficulty zipping them, so I had to loosen the laces quite a bit in order to do so, and that was in wide width. I have purchased three pairs of Taos recently, and was so hopeful but so far I have trouble with all three. If you have reasonably normal feet their shoes will work brilliantly. They are quality made. I have bunions, a Cartiva joint implant, hammer toes, plantar fasciitis and lipoma tumors on the bottom. 69 years old. I am doomed! I have tried every brand of shoe. This Sage/Olive color is stunning by the way. I recommend for you just not for me, as I have too many issues. I will not give up on Taos, will keep trying. I love the brand.

10 star shoe

Love these shoes!!! The orthotic footbed is perfect for my Plantar Fasciitis, with no bre as k-in period. Z-Soles Canvas tennis shoe with the zipper on the side are SO cute & comfortable! I’m a repeat customer!

Worth every penny!

I absolutely love these shoes! I bought two pairs about a year and a half ago and have worn them almost nonstop. They are getting a bit worn so I bought two more that came in this week! These shoes have very comfortable soles with great arch support. I have arthritis in my ankles and hips and have both knees replaced. These are the some of the only shoes I can wear all day long walking in concrete sidewalks. I live the zipper too! It makes it so easy to slip in and out of them.

Arch support

Made well, comfortable since I have feet issues. Can wear all day w/o pain! Toe box could be wider as bunion issue. Cute styling + easy to put on w/ zipper! Great arch support too.

Excellent style and comfort.

The wide size is good for bunions and neuroma. The shoes need a bit of breaking in. The side zipper is stiff and the heels chafe in the beginning of wear. The arch support and padding are excellent, as advertised.

Luv the style, adore the comfort!

Luv the zipper! These r so stylish! I have 3 pairs of these. I have a light floral, a reddish maroon floral and snakeskin. I get more compliments on all of my 6 tennies that I own. The other 3 don’t have the zippers but have very cool color schemes. Most importantly is the comfort and support. The fit and the arch support are done so well and I really thank Taos for this. I appreciate u big time as a company. I can wear these all day and I have fibromyalgia (muscle disorder), a ton of nerve pain from stenosis throughout my entire spine. I also have a ton of osteo arthritis in my legs, hips and feet. These support my body and help with keeping pain at bay. I can go for long walks and do so much on trips all day and just everyday activity. I luv these so much because I don’t have to wear the normal orthopedic footwear that is ugly as heck. I am a fashionable 65 year that can feel good about the support I am getting but also the style I get to have. Even though I have 6 tennies, they r all canvas, so now my wish list includes leather. So yes, I’m still not done with adding more Taos to my closet! Thank u for what u doTaos. Keep up the extraordinary work.

The best shoe in my closet

My absolute favorite shoe. These are the most comfortable shoe in my closet, and I'm now on my second pair. My feet got wider in pregnancy so I moved up to a wide size 8 and they fit perfectly. These shoes saved me when I had a flare of plantar fasciitis and they continue to be my go-tos to prevent recurrences of pain. They look cute with dresses, skirts, shorts, pants, very versatile! I will buy them as long as they make them!

My favorite shoes right now

Since these arrived I’ve been wearing them more than any of my other casual sneakers. I have low arches and plantar fasciitis, and the arch support and heel cushion are great without feeling like they’re too thick. I’ve received compliments every time I wear them! They’re fun and comfortable, easy to put on and they go with just about anything…what more could you ask for??

Love the fit and the look!

The fit is perfect, and the arch support is OMG fantastic, especially if you suffer from plantar fasciitis. I walked 14k steps/day on different types of surfaces and had zero foot discomfort. The look is super cute, but my only complaint is the zipper is sometimes a bit tough to close. That said, its not constant and I would buy again and again.

Love these shoes!

I rarely buy shoes on the internet because they rarely fit or match the quality advertised. The Z Soul fit perfectly and haven’t yet caused my feet to hurt even after a full days walking. I’m in my 70’s and have bunions on both feet but my right foot is particularly bad. I purchased a 9W and prayed I wouldn’t have to return them. I am so pleased with Taos Z Soul that I even purchased another pair (different style) on sale knowing I wouldn’t be able to return them. They haven’t caused any pain and the arch support is fantastic keeps my back from hurting and the toe box keeps my bunions from screaming! They definitely lived up to their advertisement.

The Best Sneakers I’ve Ever Owned are Z Souls

OhMyGosh! These are the best sneakers I’ve ever owned and I have a LOT of sneakers! I’ve suffered from Plantar Fasciitis in the past and for sure will wear these if/when it happens again. They’re great with my high arches and can’t say enough good things about them, except that I now own a 2nd pair of sneakers, slipper/shoes and sandals! Oh, and BTW, I love, love, love the zipper on the side! People keep asking me the brand and where I bought them! OF COURSE I tell them!

My favorite shoes

I have a high arch, just found that out last year from my neurologist. I also have neuropathy. These shoes make all the difference. A built in arch on every pair is a great way to live in comfort. Plus the quality of Taos shoes is top notch!!!

This is now my fourth

This is now my fourth pair of Z Soul. I love them all! I love the arch support, the ease of getting them on and off with the zipper, especially has I have arthritis. I find they work well casually as well as for a slightly dressy look. My oldest pair is still looking very good, even though I have worn them quite a bit. I always get complements on them and refer people to this website. As I said before, I love them! They do run a little short and narrow, so I have them all in a half size larger than some of my other shoes.

I have a wide foot

I have a wide foot and a high arch, these are comfortable to get on with the side zipper and have some arch support. The wide size is comfortable for me. They look good for city walking and are comfortable. In winter weather I put them on standby for boots but once the weather warms up I’ll use them again.

These sneakers are so cute

These sneakers are so cute and the most comfortable shoes I own. I stand all day at work and my feet feel great at the end of an 8 hr shift. I love that they offer a wide width as my foot is wider due to the bunions. Can’t wait to try the sandals.

Z Soul Shoes

The shoes are an excellent fit and support my high arches. Zipping up the shoes is a little tricky in the beginning but I can wear them all day in my retail job and they stay comfortable and supportive all day long!

Super cute shoe with supportive arch

I really like the Z soul. I like that it zips or ties and has a great arch support. This shoe does run narrow so I really wanted to try a wide version but did find that the length was true to size. It is a bit of a heavy shoe so unsure as to whether I’ll end up packing it to go on a trip involving a plane. If Taos technology could figure out how to make it less rubber heavy, this could be the perfect shoe.

Adorable and comfortable -- a win-win

First, they're adorable. Second, they're comfortable. Third, I love that they come in wide AND they have a side zipper -- which not only looks great, but also makes these sneakers super easy to get on and off. That's an A+ for someone with bunions who thought she'd never again find a cool-looking and comfortable shoe!

TAO z soul

Has been helpful to use this shoe for comfort while taking it easy as my plantar fasciitis is recovering. I got the shoe a bit bigger and wide.

I love the z soul,

I love the z soul, I love the look of it, I love the functionality of the shoe. I do not have to untie, I just unzip and step out of them. I have had two pair previously and did not keep the arch supports in. so I am trying them this time with the arch supports. I am hoping the arch support will help my bunions. I will report back on that. the quality of the Taos shoe is great. My first two pair of shoes were the Moc Star 2. great shoe also love the look and the fit, and the durability. I had those shoes for two years wore them just about everyday, and through them in the wash several times. Taos are my favorite tennis shoe

Love love love! Perfect for long narrow feet (size up!)

(Remember to size up!) Best Shoe Brand, I have so many now ! Love the arch support and the high quality throughout and the trendy style, colours and patterns. So much better for my feet and back. I’m a 9 or 9. 5 and a size 10 is perfect for me. I have long narrow feet so finding a good fit can be hard.

Foot heaven!

Foot heaven! 💜I love all my Taos. I have been buying this brand for years. My high arch and plantar was the original reason but I love the styles and the durability. Every pair of sandals, sneakers, shoes last and last. My daughters-in-law said ‘white sneakers’. The zipper adds a little fun to it all.

These shoes are perfect with

These shoes are perfect with my orthotics. I have non diabetic neuropathy and these are the first shoes in a while that can stand for more than an hour on my feet. I love them!

VERY high arches

I was looking at these shoes for months. They are so cute and I love the zip on feature. I have never had this problem before with any other shoes, but the very supportive insoles had extremely high arches. I couldn’t even zip up the zipper half-way. And I didn’t want to take out the insoles because I bought them for the support. The insoles also cause the toe area to drop down lower than I like. But if you don’t have picky feet, these may be non-issues. They are cute and the quality seems good.

Absolutely love these shoes! I was afraid they might be to stiff with the flat looking sole, but they are so comfortable and have great support, I can wear them all day! I have some pretty strange issues with my feet and have really high arches so finding shoes that work for me is really difficult. I love these shoes so much I want another pair in a different color!

I love my Taos sneakers!

I love my Taos sneakers! The fit is perfect and the arch support perfect for my flat feet . The colors are beautiful! Taos is my go to brand for arch support. I have one ask-please bring back floral patterns for your sneakers. My old pairs are getting worn out but I still get compliments on them .

I absolutely love my new

I absolutely love my new sneakers! They are cute, fit great, easy to put on and take off (thank you side zipper), and, of course, give me the arch support my high arches need. The arch support is the reason originally tried Taos! They feel orthopedic, but certainly don't look it!

Z Soul

I am very pleased with the Z Spul sneaker. I have difficulty finding shoes that fit my narrow flat feet. These have been very comfortable and supportive. Not to mention easy to get in and off with the side zipper!

Love these. I have had foot surgery and Taos are the only brand I can wear all day. I have sandals and leather sneakers as well. All a perfect and supportive fit.

Love the look but definitely long and thin, even in Wide. High arch is great but a softer sole (more cushion) would be nice for all day comfort.

These shoes are so comfortable, and the arch support means no foot pain at the end of the day.

Stylish shoe, but hurts me too much

They're really cute, but are rather narrow and after walking all day my feet felt so crunched. I loosened the laces all the way, but the fabric is stitched to only separate so far. The arch support is very good, but in the ball of the foot area there seems to be some very slightly raised padding which triggered the metatarsalgia I have on my right foot. For a regular foot it might feel cushioned and nice, but when the ball of your foot is tender something pushing into it (even padding) causes pain. I won't be able to wear these shoes. I can't return them because I walked all over on vacation with them and suffered a lot, even mostly limping because they were the only shoes I brought.

Love, love these shoes. They are very comfortable, with a wide toe box and good arch support. Plus they are super cute and do not make a larger foot (size 9) look huge as some other shoes do. The side zipper is great, too, and makes them more of an easy slip on. Like them so much that I bought the same pair in the autumn floral pattern. Just adorable!

Love these shoes!

I love these shoes. I wanted a slightly more stylish shoe that allowed me to walk in them all day and I got it. They are seriously comfortable. I walked all over Manhattan and and stood a lot at a museum exhibit and my shoes were great. They kept me going. They are quite heavy for sneakers, but still comfy and very walkable. Great arch support.

New Favorite

Love so many of the features. I bought these for an upcoming trip to Greece and I’m in love with them. The zipper feature is so convenient, the arch support is amazing, and since I have narrow feet (AAAA), I love the narrow fit which keeps my heels from slipping. I can wear them comfortably all day! I also purchased them in the Oyster color.

Perfect Comfort!

I love this shoe!! I have a some what narrow foot, so I thought the fit was perfect. I slipped them on to try them wound up wearing them all day when I received them!!! So much support in the foot bed for this high arched girl!! I’m considering a second pair for my trip to Italy in June!!

My Favorite Sneakers!

I love these sneakers! So cute and very comfortable. I wore these in Disneyland for two days and walked over 13 miles per day with no issues. It's hard to find good arch support in cute shoes. Thank you, Taos! **I did have to get a half size larger than my normal size due to length.

Great Arch Support

These are great shoes, I need shoes with really good arch support and cushioning and these have both! The only thing I take away a star for is the shoe crease at zipper when you walk and it digs into my little toe. So great for casual but I couldn't walk all day in them

The best Shoes I own!

I bought a tie pair 4 years ago before going on a 17 day trip. I was so happy I did as we walked miles everyday. That pair is still in great shape & i saw the zipper one. I had to have them. I am thrilled with my purchase. Great arch support & i can wear them all day

Vaca sneakers

I got these because I travel a lot and they seem to go with just about every outfit. I took them on a recent trip and they were great - very comfortable with good support for all day walking. They are super cute too!
