Just got them

I was looking for a good walking shoe for the kind of walking that you do on vacation that has arch support. I'm kind of a slave to just wearing athletic shoes so I can put my custom foot orthotics in the shoe. Decided to give these a try. Put them on the day they arrived and have been walking around the house with them. Too early to tell if the arch support is going to be sufficient enough to not flare up my plantar fasciitis while walking long distances day after day. However, I can tell putting them on straight out of the box they are a comfortable, sturdy sandal. As far as the color goes, I'm a little disappointed because in the picture the sole looks more cream than white. I also thought I would be able to see a little bit of the orange while wearing them. I really dig the green and orange contrast, but you cannot see any orange if you're wearing them. I am a size 7 and these are almost too small in length but perfect in width. I don't have enough time to order another pair to see if a 7. 5 would fit better in length. I feel like my big toe looks like it's almost over the edge.

I love these sandals!!!

The Z sandals are super comfortable and cute! I have high arches and having recently recovered from plantar fasciitis, which I never want to experience again, I require shoes with excellent arch support. These sandals checked all the boxes. I am able to wear them all day. On day 1 I had to test their waterproof capacity. While wearing them, salsa splashed on my feet. I removed the sandals, rinsed them in the sink with plain water, and they were good as new. Incredible!!! A week later, I wore them while hiking in some rocky, muddy, conditions in Hawaii. They had great support. Again, I washed them in the sink, scrubbed off the mud, again, good as new. I love, love, these shoes!!!! Highly recommend!!!

I want this shoe in every color. Super comfortable and great arch support. I have a high arch and have plantar fasciitis. Comfortable straight out of the box.

Best sandals ever!

These are the most comfortable sandals with great arch support and adjustable straps. I have high arches and rather narrow feet and these fit great without any blistering when walking.

Really nice sandal

I love these sandals. The arch isn’t as high as I had hoped tho, which is where Taos shoes can often deliver. I had a bout of plantar fasciitis for 4 years and while these do have arch support, if you have an high arch like me, these won’t be a great recovery shoe. Additionally, if you have narrow feet these probably won’t fit you. The strap adjustability is pretty good but has limits for around the ankle, in particular. For me, these will become a go-to. They just didn’t 100% hit the mark. Really close (and closer than any other sandal I’ve found so far! so that’s something!).

Very Comfortable and supportive

I have trouble wearing sandals because they don’t have enough arch support (I have orthotics for my regular shoes) and these have pretty good support. The straps avoid my bunions and I love that. The straps Velcro and are able to be cinched up enough to feel secure and supportive.

Great fit

My replacement sandals have arrived. I have not 'worn' them out and about (too much snow- haha) but I love the arch support and the adjustable straps over the toe and instep. I am a bit leary of the height of the footbed; rather platform shoe like, but I am not planning on using them for hiking. I have a very narrow foot so the adjustability of the straps make them an almost perfect fit. I found locating a telephone number, to ask about my replacement (almost a month coming), almost impossible. When I did get a response to an email I found, my return was verified quickly and the shoes arrived the next day. I would feel more comfortable now ordering again. I have 3 other pair of dressy Taos sandals and they have all worn well and are still very comfortable.

The Super Z Taos are

The Super Z Taos are amazing! Comfortable right out of the box to wear all day. The foot bed of these shoes offer arch support, are soft but firm. The sole offers grip on any ground. Very stable and well balanced. The adjustable straps to fit any foot so you end up with swollen feet mid day, no problem. Theses shoes run true to size. I was so happy with these she's that I now have two pair different colors. Also, they are waterproof. Very happy.

Love!!!

After a long search for sandals that can fit long and narrow feet (size 10. 5-11), I am very happy with the Z-strap. They fit true to size, on the narrow side. Velcro on the front and back allows for good adjustment. They have great cushion and arch support for flat feet. Very comfortable to walk in all day long. Would highly recommend these!

Dont hesitate ton purchase

Very well made. I have extensive foot issues from injury. I have only worn tennis shoes for 4 years since injury. The solid arch support is amazing. Very comfortable and the adjustable straps are perfect. I do wish they were a bit lighter. They are not heavy but not quite as light as my tennis shoes. I can wear these without having immediate foot pain. Very nice shoe. I tend to have a more narrow foot and fits great.

Excellent for Travel as well as everyday

I've worn these sandals on long walks and hikes in total comfort. I have narrow feet with a high arch and I am able to adjust the straps to fit perfectly.

Second Pair!

Love the Super Z sandals-this is my second pair. Wore than for a day of walking at Disney World and they were better than my Hokas! I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis and these sandals are a miracle!

Walk In Comfort

I wore these really cute sandals yesterday for most of the day and night. Most shoes hurt my feet after a couple hours but not these! My extremely flat feet were comfortable the entire time and I love how they look. I wore them with a skirt. They are easy to put on and adjust because of the velcro straps, yet they’re not dorky or “grandma” at all. I bought them for an upcoming trip to South America and I think they’re going to be perfect for walking in comfort all day. They’re replacing a pair of Teva sandals I barely wore because the texture of the footbed hurts my feet. The Taos footbed is smoother and doesn’t annoy me. I love the colors (sage/olive multi) and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Great support for my high arches and slightly wide feet. Nicely adjustable. Like walking on a cloud!

I have big problem feet

I have big problem feet and the sports sandals I've tried – many – all cut right across the bunion. These do not, and I like the not-too-flexible sole for other messed-up-feet related reasons. . I wore them almost every day on a road trip/hiking vacation.

Great comfort and support

I bought these sandals hoping for extra support for my plantar fasciitis. They are now my go to summer shoes. I tossed my other sport sandals and barely wear my sneakers and hiking shoes now. I’ll definitely buy more of these and you should too.

Best sandal ever

I took a chance on these sandals. I really love the look of them. They aren’t dressy but I find them chic and I would definitely wear them with anything, including casual dresses and skirts (which I wear a lot). The sole is very sturdy and stable. The arch support is excellent. I have high arches and these are the most supportive sandals that I ever tried. I love two things about the way the straps work. One is that the strap that goes around the ankle and cross mid-foot has a very easy stick and unstick action. I’ve had many pairs of Teva in my life and I never liked the way the strap came across your ankle, through the loop, and then folded back on itself to stick. I thought it made it difficult to put on and take off. Also, you had to line up the Velcro when you didn’t have it on because that big strip of it would attach to other things and cause a problem when you weren’t wearing the sandals. Number two is that the strap across the toes is independent from the strap for the rest of the foot. That means that you can leave plenty of room in the toe but keep the rest of the foot secure. As I get older, I’m needing more room in the toe box. If you’re on the fence, try these sandals!

Resolved my pain!

I recently purchased my first pair of Taos shoes, and the Z’s are the most—honestly, the only—comfortable shoes I own. I have fat pad atrophy of my right forefoot. I’ve tried countless metatarsal pads, but none fit properly. Even after trimming them, they were either uncomfortable or too small to stay in place. I had pretty much resigned myself to living with foot pain—until I found these. The arch and metatarsal support in the Z’s are a perfect fit for my foot and have made a huge difference in my comfort. I’m now hoping to find other Taos styles that work just as well. So grateful I gave these a try!

best shoes ever!

These are my all time favorite shoes! They are so comfortable and so cute! Ever since my doctor advised me to only wear shoes with high arch support, I'd been resigned to wearing the same few pairs of comfy, if not exactly stylish, wool clogs. I didn't think I'd ever be able to wear sandals again, so to have found these shoes is amazing. Tbh, the more rigid arch support has actually been even better than my clogs. 10/10 with 0 regrets. I normally wear a 9.5 and the 10 fit me perfectly.

These are awesome!

I love these shoes! I have all kinds of foot and ankle problems and these have the perfect support. There’s some cushion but not too much to make them feel unsupportive. The arch is just right for my high arch. I have wide feet, with the adjustable straps they are perfect.

Saved me post foot surgery

I bought these last fall while I was recovering from foot surgery. The adjustable straps were great as I had considerable swelling. Great arch support and cushioning.

Super Comfy

These sandals are like walking on clouds. Super comfortable, great arch support and feels like I could walk for hours without having to break them in. Highly recommend them. A bit pricey but worth it.

THE most comfortable sandal for problem feet.

If I could give this sandal a 10, I would. I need a lot of cushion and space for my Tailor bunions and these have been a LIFESAVER! I own 3 pairs and am hoping more colors are added to the lineup. I have lived in these shoes for the last 6 months and the tan lines on my feet are proof.

Super Z

I own several pairs of other Taos sandals. But this is my first in this style. I was interested in the sneaker type base on it -and all of the adjustability I need maximum arch support and also have a lot of neuropathy in my feet. The sandals are great. I was able to wear them out of the box all day without any breaking in time. Highly recommend. As usual, I ordered a size 11. My normal shoe size in other brands is a 10 to a 10 1/2 But in. Taos I always get an 11

Great pair of hiking sandals,

Great pair of hiking sandals, and they are wonderful from my high arches. They look stylish and cute with any outfit. The only problem I had was when I was walking through a shallow river. My feet would slip inside the sandal. Not enough support when they are wet. The Velcro straps only goes so tight. I did not get any blisters though. Overall, these are very comfortable sandals.

Great sandal with arch support!

I ordered this sandal in black and really love it. It has great arch support for my med/high arches( which are falling! ). The platform feels like walking on clouds! I would not hesitate to buy another pair except that I don't like the white speckled sole on them. Please make more with the black sole and different colored straps!

This solved my foot pain

This solved my foot pain I was having with having 70 years old feet! I need the best arch support you can find. Taos is really the only brand I can wear for all day comfort. Plus, these sandals are much cuter than I thought they would be — so, doubly happy!

These sporty sandals are so comfortable! The arch support and cushy sole alleviate my back pain from walking on hard tile floors! They look good when going out.

Comfortable shoes

These are very comfortable shoes. Just the right amount of support and a bonus is the adjustable straps. I wore them right out of the box and all day. The only thing I had to get use to was the toe curves up and you have to lift your foot up a little higher to walk so not to catch it on the ground, but easy enough to do!

So comfortable

I have purchased several styles of Taos shoes. They are all comfortable. They have good arch support. These are just as comfortable. I bought them to walk in water and fishing . They have good grip when walking. Can wear all day.

These sandals check all the boxes -they are adjustable for my narrow feet -they are supportive and secure -they have good arch support -they are cushiony -they don’t make my size 11 feet look huge

I love these sandals. I have a narrow foot, so the adjustable Velcro is awesome. They are so comfortable. I can even take a walk in these and I usually wear Hoka shoes with an orthotic. .

works for me

I looked high and low for a sandal that would stay on my feet (high arches, narrow heels) and these work! Very comfortable and I plan to wear them on an upcoming vacation.

My favorite athletic sandals

These are very comfortable and great fitting sport sandals. The support is excellent and they don’t rub on my feet in any places. The style is cute and sporty. I probably wouldn’t wear these with dresses, but I have worn them with sporty skirt. In other shoes I sometimes need a 9. 5, but the 9 was perfect here. I would say the regular width is just a bit wider than other regular width sandals, and I like that since wide shoes are way too wide for me and sometimes “regular” can be a bit narrow, especially in sandals. I’ve tried many different athletic sandals, but these are my favorite.

great wearable daily sandal

love this shoe! comfortable , supportive , easy to wear all day with complete comfort straps can be adjusted. i have narrow foot so had to really adjust them. stylish with any outfit, super grip on soles! waterproof too.

Great fit lengthwise,terrific arch support, good for all day wear. Very stylish. Lots of compliments. I have a narrow width foot and did use heavy thread to shorten up the strap at the ankle position

I appreciate the style & stability

Just Received and walked around house for about 30 min. Stable Base/Foot Bed. Secure Double Velcro Straps Appealing Style and Color Shade, Tan/Pale Coral Cons: Wait & See: toe strap rubbing slightly on toe Not quite long enough Velcro straps on foot but that's ok, overkill on straps changes look of shoe for worse and sometimes just isn't possible in a particular style/build. These straps fit well enough and the shoe overall feels stable & secure. Just received so getting adjusted to a "harder" foot bed. Don't have high arches but these may just be a good purchase for me because of the stable yet pretty comfortable feel right away. One of the very few sandals that I don't need to downsize to size 6 or 6.5. My (default) size 7 is good in this one.

Great athletic sandal

5’7”, 135 lbs, size 9 shoe I have thin feet with high arches with previous broken toe and ankle injuries so sandals can be a challenge. I hadn’t found a sandal yet that didn’t cause pain and swelling. I love these! The straps are a bit loose on me so I may have them shortened. The footbed feels great with the right amount of cushion. I have worn them in all day walking in watery conditions and didn’t once think about my feet. IYKYK. I also purchased a dressier sandal, Big Time, that I like. I have been so impressed that I am looking at other dressier styles to get in a brown.

Perfect support for my high arch.

These shoes are perfect for my high arch. The hard sole gives support in all the places my foot needs. These sandals support my foot without any slipping around. If I don't have enough support (the shoes are flat)I need to wear my orthopedics. These sandals have the perfect supportive feel. I get compliments every place I go.

So cute

Love these sandals they are so comfortable and so cute. I can walk all day and my feet don’t get sore. I had foot surgery over a year ago and my foot still is sore in most sandals but when I have these on I can go all day without my foot getting sore. I truly love these and get compliments when I wear them. Thank you Taos ❤️

Comfy

These are so comfortable. I did have to put some moleskin over one of the stitches because it started to blister but it's fine since I added it. I have bunions and the design has a perfect spot for them to escape. I did a lot of walking the past few days and my feet and knees feel great.

Super Z is Super!

Absolutely in love with these sandals from the jump. Straight out of box and super comfortable. I have the blue multi and they are perfect color. I've already taken a few walks and zero foot pain after several miles each day. The most comfortable sandals that I own.

Very comfortable and cute too

I have worn Chacos for years and love them. To my surprise- these are much more comfortable, way more supportive and I will never go back. I have very high arches and typically wear a 7.5 and the 7’s fit perfectly.
