Relief for your feet!

I have several medical issues with my feet including plantar fasciitis, a Morton’s neuroma and a failed 3 level spinal fusion that has left me with severe neuropathy, all of which combine to cause severe difficulty walking. Chronic lymphedema has also caused swelling in my legs and feet which makes it difficult for me to find any shoes that are even remotely comfortable. These shoes are the solution for me. As a first time customer, I am very impressed with the quality, fit and adjustability of these shoes. I would highly recommend this particular pair of shoes and Taos shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable and cute shoe that makes me feel like I’m not wearing my Grandma’s orthopedic shoes. Thank you, Taos for finally giving me some relief from the foot pain I have been plagued with for the past couple of years.

I absolutely love this shoe.

I absolutely love this shoe. It goes with almost everything and it has great support AND cushioning. I first bought a green pair while on a trip to Laramie Wyoming (at a great shoe store called Dodd Shoe Company) and liked it so much I bought this gray pair as soon as we got home. I have a high arch, high instep, plantar fasciitis, and a couple of problematic small joints in the midfoot. Yet I can walk around all day in these nearly pain free. Highly recommended!

I have a "C" width

I have a "C" width (considered "wide") foot and these shoes are perfect. The foot bed is wide enough but not too wide (as in some "wide" width shoes), and the straps are adjustable to they accommodate my mini-bunyons too. My foot is short and I have a high arch and a high instep, so the straps accommodate my instep without pressing down on the top of my foot like a tennis shoe would. The sole is nice and thick and offers great support while walking. I am very hard to fit. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned!

Super comfortable sandal!

Extremely comfortable sandals with good arch support. The straps are well thought out and make the sandals feel very stable so my feet don't move around too much in them, unless that is what I want. The footbed has an excellent cushion and feels supportive enough for me to walk in them all day with no discomfort. I usually do well with size 9. 5 in most Taos shoes, but when I see this "active footbed" I size up to 10, which has worked very well so far, and did in this case as well.

Best Sandal Ever!

Although I was hesitant at first, I am so very glad that I gave these a chance. Never before was I able to walk all day without either numbness, blisters, heel pain or arch aches. Having a narrow foot and high arches always added to the shopping nightmare. Ladies, I just walked all over England for 8 days pain free! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these!

Perfect fit. Covers the baby toe and bunion. Love the adjustable straps and support in arch. Great walking shoe. I can wear them all day in total comfort.

Like walking in air

I have had plantar fascia, bunions and surgery for Morton’s Neuroma twice and shoes are a big issue. I bought this shoe in a neutral color in hopes of wearing to Disney next week. Once I tried them on I didn’t want to take them off and immediately ordered a pair in pink. No rubbing, nothing stiff and they feel like I’m walking on air. Love them!

Great Support

Bought these because of the support. I have very high arches, usually have to wear orthotics in tennis shoes, but am able to wear these without pain. I purchased these a few days before going on vacation, I questioned if I should wear them before site-seeing of the one days. We walked 6 miles and I had no pain. I would have given a 5 star review because of comfort, but the color of the sandals had worn off on the bottom of my feet and my feet were completely black,

Worth every penny

I almost passed over these because I wasn't looking for such an outdoorsy-looking sandal. Thank goodness I gave them a try!!! They're extremely comfortable. I have problem feet and arthritis, but these sandals are in a league of their own. So comfortable and supportive! I got the black with white-wall soles, but will definitely be getting another color also.

Sandals

I have been have issues with my foot and bought these sandals for my trip to Europe based on reviews. I am glad I did. These are super comfy and have great arch support. Feet feel great and have and no issues walking all day in them. It says true to size and they really are. I am a size 8 and they fit perfect.

So comfortable!

This is the third pair of Taos sandals I’ve ordered over the last few years and the first time I tried the Super Side. I have wide feet so, I took the advice from other reviews and ordered a half size larger in the 9. The toes are a little long but, not that noticeable. I wore them in my house all day the first day and found them to be extremely comfortable and supportive. I would definitely order another pair even though they are pricey!

Perfect in all aspects!!

I love everything about the style and adjustability of this supportive sandal ! Great for walking anywhere! Trails, moist areas or on vacation. I can wear them all day. I have custom arches for support but I don’t need to worry with this particular sandal because the fit and support are built in. Also fully adjustable! Thanks Taos, I wish all your sandals were so adjustable especially for us with narrow feet !!

Comfort for the water.

The Super Side is a great water sandal. So comfortable right out of the box! Great arch support and nice lift with the platform. It's like walking on air!

Absolutely love this sandal! I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis on my inner right heel. I’ve been wearing them for three days now and my heel feels fantastic. The great arch, rounded heel support and excellent cushioning in the soles is what’s doing the trick for me.

I have some foot issues

I have some foot issues and need to wear orthotics in my runners, and also recently have planter fasciitis in one foot, so I was looking for a casual walking sandal that wouldn’t hurt my feet. This one has an excellent footbed, with lots of arch support and heel support. When I showed it to my podiatrist he thought it was a really good choice for me. I’ve received compliments on it as well because it looks nicer than many sport sandals. I normally wear size 8. 5 but it doesn’t come in half sizes so I ordered 9. It’s a touch long but not noticeably so and an 8 would definitely have been too small.

The perfect walking all terrain sandal !

First and foremost, Taos has the best support in all their shoes and sandals! Sometimes a bit more than my right foot will tolerate. The reason for mentioning that is I’ve had bone fusion surgery on my right foot so my arch is not very flexible but most styles work perfectly, including this sandal! No back, leg or foot pain issues at all! Great support and made to last, very sturdy and walkable! I highly recommend this style of waterproof walking sandal or any other style of Taos shoes!

So very comfortable!

My 1st sandal from Taos. Well let me tell you it certainly won't be my last! These sandals are So Comfortable to me! And so very stable as well! I wish I had been buying Taos sandals all along! The sandal supports my high arch so my feet don't get fatigued or sore from wearing and walking in them all day! Very pleased with the comfort these sandals provide! And also a plus that they are water friendly!!!

As an 73 year old, with bunion issues, always seeking comfort and safety in my walking shoes… perfect summer sandal. Also lov d the Gift sandal but was not as pleased with the quality… wore out too soon for the price paid… going these will be more sturdy.

but these straps hurt my feet after wearing them on vacation. Was hoping these would be great for walking but painful for post-op bunion, bummer! i bet they perfect if you don't have feet problems.

Well, I can’t think of anything that I dislike I love the color The fit is great. I have wide feet and Taos has always come through. I bought a lot of shoes and boots because of the arch support and the fit for my wide feet not to mention that the styles and colors are really nice Some of their sneakers, I needed to get 9 1/2 wide but with this sandal, a size 9 was just fine, which is usually my size they’re going to be great for walking the trail in the summer The color is really different and the soles are different white would normally look unattractively big But they added these little speckles, which lighten it up a lot and I like it. Super Slide Sandal

Comfortable shoes. I love the material that encompasses my feet. Soft and gentle against my skin. NO blisters with these shoes. Very well made. Quality and comfort all in one shoe! The sole of these shoes are thick enough/ heavy enough, if I were to step on a piece of glass, I don’t believe it would hurt my foot as easily as some of the other name brand shoes out on the market with the thin flimsy soles. Money well spent. I have an extra wide foot and with the adjustable straps they fit perfect.

Super side

Still wearing in the shoes but they seem to be helpful for my plantar fasciitis and I like the style. My only concern is that the straps are Velcro and may wear out. I have to have them trapped as far over as they go because my feet are so narrow.

These are the most supportive

These are the most supportive water- friendly sandals I've found, after a long and exhaustive search. The molded footbed is prefect for my high arches, and the neoprene padded straps don't dig into my toes. My only complaint is just that I wish they weren't platform soles, as lower profile would be better for active outdoor use on uneven terrains. Still, for walking on even paths and water play, these are the best of what I've found.

Fallen arch support

I have been searching for a durable water resistant sandal that has arch support that I need due to a fallen arch in my already flat feet. This one fits the bill. It’s cute, durable and supportive. Thank you for making them!

So comfortable They’re cozy

I love these sandals. I was just walking in them on the trail tonight and really I was thinking my feet are actually cozy. Not only do they have great support they just cradle my foot That’s how they feel And they look great. I absolutely love the color. Quite unique I got size 9 in plum embossed Multi I have wide feet But you never know what these sandals are flattering well designed well-made

Yes! These are so good. Stable. Good arch support. Height is good without feeling wobbly. 10's fit great. My foot is wide, and the middle of the shoe could be a smidge wider, but it's not a problem. You get what you pay for.

Happily Surprised

I have worn these from the get go. They are super comfortable and great arch support. The are expensive but built well. I am definitely a fan. I bought them for a trip to Asia but they are my favorite waterproof sandles.

MY GO TO SUMMER SANDAL

Whether I'm headed to the Beach or just walking around the house, these sandals are my first choice. They are so comfortable, great arch support & light enough that you feel like you're walking on a cloud.

Love these shoes!

They're sturdy and comfortable with good arch support. Ordered up a half size to 9 since the shoe is not available in 8 1/2 (Do better, Taos!), so they're a smidgeon long but that's better than too short.

Perfect shoes!

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I will be wearing them to Italy in August because they are so comfortable! Plus I love the multi-colored straps, and the stable, cushy soles. Also, I have a pretty severe bunion on my left foot and I’m able to wear these with no pain. So happy!

Love these shoes

I can put these shoes on in the morning and never take them off till the end of the day and still be comfortable. They are amazing. They have a very high arch and very comfortable footbed.

comfy for a short time

I had bunion surgery and these were painful after wearing them on beach trip with a lot of walking. cute& comfy for short trips but was hoping for more.

SImple, Practical, Comfortable

I've never been the biggest fan of this style of sandal but I was looking for something more durable and at least water resistant and given the reviews and the sale price, I thought it was time to put my bias aside and give it a try and I'm so happy I did. These shoes were comfortable right outta the box. The first time I wore them was to a pro-wrestling PPV live event. First we had to park and walk about 20 minutes to the arena, then stand in a long line for entry, then walk around the inside to find bathrooms, our seats, snacks, etc. and then given that our seats were on the floor we ended up standing for the majority of the 7 hour show and still had to walk back to the car. All that and I can honestly say that I never once thought about my feet - they were comfortable and supportive, no blisters or sore spots, and the platform even gave me a little extra height to see the ring better. Since then, they have become my go to shoe - I wear them any chance I get from walking the dogs to running errands and I am planning to bring them with me to my upcoming trip to the UK. Perfect for the hot hot summer we have been having as well. They may not be the most glamorous or fashionable but they are so comfortable and functional!

Soft supportive shoe

I bought these sandals after talking with a friend who had purchased them. I bought them as I am going to Italy in July and needed support and a comfortable fit while walking. Right now, I have just been wearing them around town and to special events. They are like walking on pillows. Soft, supportive. The platform of the shoe was higher than I ever purchased for a sandal. But very comfortable and stable. Fit is perfect.

I bought my first pair of Super Sides at The Foot Traveler! I absolutely love these sandals! I have spent the summer in them. I have many Taos sandals and boots. But these sandals are perfect for walking my dog. They keep my feet out of the wet grass, the arch support is fantastic. They are like walking on clouds! They took a little getting used to because they are so supportive. I have since ordered 3 more pair.

Another winner

Wow! These sandals were comfortable straight out of the box. I wear them as my house shoes so some days I have them on 14+hours...with no break in period. I will likely take them on my next trip that will include a lot of walking, although they're not the most stylish sandal. They are easily adjustable so I think they'd be great for people who suffer from swelling in their feet/ankles.

I love my new super slides. Great arch support, cushion and no rubbing. I’ve been wearing them on my exercise walks. Perfect for the hot summer months. Very happy with them. Oh, and they’re cute!

I’ve had foot related problems for quite awhile. I took a chance ordering these based on customer reviews that stated they wore the pair all day without discomfort or pain. Well, it’s true. I’ve worn these sandals from early morning on my mile and a half walk and then left them on all day while running errands and grocery shopping. I finally took them off after over a 12-hr day. My feet never felt pain. They were beginning to tire around the 10th hour. But never any foot pain. I’ve since done this a few more times without any problems. (I even walked on the treadmill at the gym in them. I was surprised I wasn’t stopped. I like these sandals very much. The fit is true to size. I wear a 6, sometimes a 6-1/2. I ordered these in a 37 and the fit is great.

I am so pleased with this sandal. As usual it is comfortable beyond my expectations. I have much less low back pain when I’m wearing them.
