I was happily surprised with these shoes. I am going to Paris for a vacation and wanted to wear a nice pair of shoes but needed to be sure they were comfortable for walking. I suffered from a severe case of plantar fasciitis last summer and don’t ever want to go through that again. I have quite a high arch, and have to be careful of the footwear I choose now. I swapped out the insole for my orthotics and felt the shoes were no different with my orthotic…. Meaning that they offer ample arch support on their own! AMAZING!! I am thrilled to have a stylish shoe that I can wear for 25,000 steps per day without the fear of developing plantar fasciitis again!

Love these! Excellent support for high arches

Love my Plim Soul Lux! I have wide feed and high arches. I went through months of PT to get my feet back to normal and walking without a limp or pain (plantar fasciitis, fracture and fascia tear injury). I purchased the Plim soul canvas style first and loved them but the color faded or stained easier. These however can be wiped clean and look great after months of daily wear. I love the support, don't even need my orthotics in these. There was almost no break-in period which is unusual for me with my wide feed. Theses are are my every day shoe outside of work. I can wear them all day doing house/barn chores and have no foot pain. Worth every penny! Wish I could afford more colors!

I have dealt with a

I have dealt with a number of foot issues including plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, and Achilles tendonitis, from which I have recovered. I always consider these ailments when choosing shoes. But, more importantly, I consider the conditions which currently affect me; Morton’s neuroma, sprained ankle and a healing ruptured Achilles tendon. Obviously, I need to consider function over looks. Structurally speaking, these are not my best shoe, but they are definitely a favorite that gets worn often. Its best feature is its removable insole. Wearing my custom orthotics is a must. It is also deep enough to handle the heel lifts that I am using to gently stretch my tendon. Second, is the fact I could get it in a wide. I need to be able to wear support socks and occasionally an ankle brace. My none injured foot is most affected by the Morton’s neuroma and my toes LOVE the extra room. Third is the absolute comfort. I needed no wearing in time. And lastly are the looks. They are contemporary and stylish. Needing to wear very specific athletic shoes most of the time, it’s nice to have an alternative that makes me feel like me.

Wonderful sneakers!

I normally wear an 8, but I ordered an 8. 5 to be on the safe side, and they fit great! I need a wide toe box and a good arch support for my bad feet, and these fit the bill. I currently have a ligament injury in my foot and need a supportive shoe. These are so comfortable that I wore them all day from day one without pain. I was concerned about other's complaints of heel slippage due to a thick insole and stiffness of the leather causing a difficult break-in period, but mine felt broken in within the first hour of wear, and the heel doesn't slip when I tie the laces securely. And I would imagine that the insole will compress over time, so this should not keep you from buying these wonderful shoes. And the leather is a thick, high quality leather that will likely outlast all my other sneakers. They were worth every penny!

Best shoes I’ve had. I had begun suffering from plantar fasciitis and terrible foot pain. I love these shoes! They are super comfortable with amazing arch support. I am a 7. 5 shoe size and they fit perfectly for me.

I have been looking for

I have been looking for a cute pair of business casual sneakers and these are perfect. The color is more versatile than plain white or black and the leather has just the right amount of sheen. The fit is great - I wear 9.5 and the 9.5 fits perfectly. I had lapiplasty bunion repair on both feet 2 years ago and these shoes are one of the very few pairs that I can wear without orthotics. The Plim Soul Lux is comfortable and I can wear them all day with good ankle stability and no foot pain.

My first pair of Taos

My first pair of Taos and I am so happy with them!! I can stand and walk in all day comfort, they are super cute, and they match everything: jogger sweatpants, wide leg khaki, crop jeans, sharp slacks. These would be perfect for a travel weekend, can go everywhere and with everything in comfort. Thank you for making these!! Finding the right shoe is so hard, my feet run narrow with high arch and a very mild bunion, these work very well for me. I researched a lot, they are pricey. Sizing was a bit confusing, the EU size chart did not line up with my US size; for me the US size ran true to other US size sneakers.

I really love these shoes!

I really love these shoes! The tan color is beautiful. They’re very well made, and they’re soooo comfortable! I usually wear orthotics to support my very high arches and this is one of the few shoes I’ve had where I don’t feel I need them. I got wide width, mostly for my high instep, and they’re perfect. These will be my go to shoes for a casual look that’s a step up from regular sneakers.

All Around WIN!

I am a hairstylist… I work many hours in a week. I also am an avid runner,/trail runner, so I’m on my feet ALL the time. I’ve grown to learn that I need proper arch support to avoid foot injuries such as plantar fasciitis or tendinitis in my foot- as I struggled with both at one point. Taos shoes give me support, comfort and super fashionable for every day wear!

This was my first purchase from Toas. I was looking for a shoe with arch support to help my plantar fasciitis go away. I also needed wide width. Loved this shoe & ordered it again in the oyster color. Highly recommend it!

I love Tao’s Plin Soul

I love Tao’s Plin Soul Lux shoes I have 3 pairs of them and a 4th pair on order. They are very well made and comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and Tao’s shoes have great arch support.

Comfortable fit, snappy look

Because of arch support I can wear these shoes all day without causing flare up of plantar fasciitis. Plus they have a snappy look.

Most comfortable and attractive shoes!

Having wide feet with a number of issues, I struggle to find shoes that fit me right, feel supportive, and look good. TAOS's Prim Soul Lux in wide width have been a lifesaver because they are the most comfortable shoes I own (beating on comfort even sneakers). The insoles are very supportive, the shoes are lightweight, and they are the most gorgeous camel color too. I wear this particular pair year round. They are made of high quality leather that only looks better with wear. I love them so much that I bought another pair of the same shoe just to have a replacement when I have worn out the first pair. As for for, I felt they ran a bit too short, so I sized up to give more space to toes.

These are my favorite shoes ever. I have bad feet with high arches. Planter fasciitis has always been an issue. I am a elementary teacher, so I need a comfortable shoe that I can wear with anything, these are my go to! Since switching to these, I have had no foot pain whatsoever. It took a minute to break them in, but that is because they are so well made. I now own several pairs!

No inserts needed!!

I’ve been suffering from really bad plantar fasciitis pain in the arch of my foot, over the past several months. I’ve been buying Taos shoes for years and love them! They’re the only shoes I’ve been able to wear, without orthotic inserts and be pain-free.

Love these leather sneakers!

No break in period, comfy out of the box with the Taos foot bed! I think this is my seventh pair and they do not disappoint! Casual to dressy casual they fit the bill, look and feel great! Highly recommend. I previously had plantar fasciitis and a severely twisted ankle. But after wearing these leather sneakers for a few years, I do not have pain or issues anymore.

My size is 9N which

My size is 9N which is hard to find in sporty shoes. I usually have to wear expensive orthotics & but only shoes they will fit in—but these shoes fit perfectly and are so supportive!! The insole has a perfect arch support & metatarsal pad. Wore them all day the first time & they were great! Love them!

half size up due to a little short

Love them! Exactly what I was looking for! So cute and goes with everything! I have a wide flat foot with metatarsalgia and bunions and have to get a wide. These did run a little short so half sized up. I don’t even been my shoe inserts bc these have a good arch support. Soo happy about my purchase.

Two or more pairs for every season!

I stand on my feet all day and go up and down stairs at least 10 times a day if not more. These and all my other 7 pairs of Taos give for great arch support and comfort all day plus it’s very nice they look great with whatever I’m wearing. I’m 55 and this is all I have worn since last spring. Thanks for such great sneakers. And yes I did order a half size up.

These are wonderful on my

These are wonderful on my feet! I have had plantar fasciitis with right foot and tendinitis with left one at the same time. My husband gave me the clogs for Christmas. They were on sale and I wanted to see if they worked before I ordered the Pim Soul Lux leather tennies. I LOVE, LOVE the camel colored ones and have worn them around the house for now. Weather here is icy and snowy and don’t want to wear them outside yet!

Comfy traveling shoes

I purchased this pair specifically for a trip to the UK in Oct. Taos are my go to travel shoes for casual outfits. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and they are perfect for a lazy day where I may walk only 3 miles or for a full day when I may get in 10 to 11 miles. My feet are good to go at the end of the day when I wear my Taos. So many great colors to chose from!!

LOVE THIS SHOE!

I love this shoe! Plim Soul Lux is my third pair of sneakers from Taos, and they don't disappoint. I wanted a pair of nice sneakers I could wear in the autumn/winter, and these leather shoes are perfect. They are a great color and style that works with all my outfits. Also, these shoes are SO comfortable, and the arch support allows me to walk in them all day without foot pain. LOVE THEM!

Super comfortable

Wearing these shoes has helped to diminish a lot of my foot pain. The arch support is incredible. I am glad that I purchased these shoes. It is also reassuring that new insoles are available because these shoes are made to last.

Plim Soul Lux

Great fit and so cute! I did go up a full size from my traditional tennis shoes. I will enjoy having such a comfortable, casual shoe for travel or a quick walk downtown. Great quality; the leather is supple, the arch support is well defined. I highly recommend this all-around great shoe.

Comfortable and supportive

These shoes are great. They are well made, comfortable, and I like the style. There is good arch support. Thanks for not making the laces too long! I did order a half size larger than usual and the fit was perfect.

Exceptional Shoe

Class and comfort

these are beautiful, classy shoes. i usually have to wear my orthopedic inserts with my walking or running shoes, due to high arches. i didn't with these and wore them on a recent trip to Italy. I walked all over Sicily, Naples and Rome up hills, and down cobblestone streets without any pain during or after 20k-step days. I looked stylish and my feet felt great. these shoes are high quality and well-worth the price.

I normally wear 8.5 or

I normally wear 8.5 or 9 shoes. I ordered a 9 in these side that's what I wear in Sperry's. These feel great on my feet. I have corns on my pinky toes and these don't hurt them like some other shoes do. These help with heel pain and have good arch support. I love the style too.

I ordered the 7. 5 wide,

I ordered the 7. 5 wide, which is usually the correct size. Had to order up to a 8 wide as the 7. 5 was too narrow/ short. Had a nice high arch support. I will review the size 8 one I receive them.

Good shoes with some caveats

These are quality shoes, the leather is nice, but I want to warn folks that the footbed is quite stiff as well as the leather and contrary to other reviews these shoes do need to be broken in. The heel of the insert is also quite high so the heel feels a bit shallow. As others have said I needed to order a half size up and the wide version for my regular width feet to be comfortable. I did end up purchasing other inserts for casual walks as i like a little more cushion, but the included inserts still work well for longer walks and i think they will improve as they get broken in.

These shoes are very comfortable and have great arch support. I can be on my feet all day and my feet stay happy in these shoes. Bonus, they’re stylish!

Teachers rejoice!

I had brutal plantar fasciitis, and I was coming home from teaching and having to put my feet up. Another teacher said that Taos shoes had really helped. I'm a convert. Plim Souls are a staple of my teaching wardrobe. Oh, did I mention that when I went on vacation this summer I walked almost 90 miles in two weeks wearing these shoes? The Lux starts out a little stiff, but they are softening up nicely, and look just a bit more professional.

I wear an orthotic in

I wear an orthotic in my shoes due to a high arch. I don't need it in this shoe because it has a good arch to begin with.

Amazing comfort for such a cute sneaker

I absolutely love these sneakers! I have major foot issues, several surgeries, etc. I normally have to wear bulky running shoes with specialized orthotics if I’m going to be doing any walking. I wore these sneakers to Manhattan and walked all day with no problems! I will say I needed to size up a half a size. Would highly recommend these. ❤️

Fantastic sneakers. The most comfortable

Fantastic sneakers. The most comfortable and supportive I’ve ever owned. As someone who suffers from bunions, callouses and fallen arches, this has been the only sneaker that has provided me ultimate comfort for hours. If you’re on the fence about getting them, I’m here to tell you to go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

4th pair

I love these shoes so much it’s the 4th pair I’ve bought. Obviously not the same color. Supportive, true to size. I can go all day in them and not have any foot pain. My only request would be make the zippered leather collection in leather too and I’ll add those ones to my collection!

Support I need-- finally!

This is my second pair of Taos leather sneakers. These take me a few wears the break in, they're a little stiff at first. Once they're broken in they feel so soft and comfy. I have plantar fascitis and these give me the support I need to get through the day without aching feet!

Attractive and comfortable leather sneaker.

I have wide toe boxes due to three foot surgeries on my right foot and a simple bunionectomy on my left. I also have high arches. Taos shoes sneakers and boots fit me! I hav learned to order wide width due to my foot issues. Thank you.

Cute and supportive

I love them! I’ve been looking for a cute white sneaker that didn’t flare up any foot pain, and these have been the best. The insoles are super high quality. Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable, stylish, well made

Absolutely love these shoes! I have a white leather pair that i can wear and walk in all day, even with a bunion in one foot. Comfortable, supportive, well made. Worth every penny.

No break-in period and I’m

No break-in period and I’m getting used to the quite low cut back of the shoe. Unable to use my orthotics with these shoes but they do have great arch support.

Stylish and Comfortable with a Slight Fit Quirk

These shoes are beautiful and definitely live up to their style expectations. The length runs true to size, but I found them a little narrow at the widest part of my foot. The toe box could use just a bit more room — I think sizing up by half a size would probably solve that issue. That said, they were mostly comfortable right out of the box. I didn’t get any blisters and there’s no slipping when I walk, which is a big plus. There was one small pressure point on the top of my foot that caused some discomfort at first, but it eased up after a few wears as the material loosened slightly. Overall, a great pair of shoes with just a minor break-in period.

This is my favorite shoe. I have 3 pairs of Slim Soul Lux and 2 pairs of Plim Soul and I rotate them as suggested by my podiatrist. I have bought these shoes for my whole family. They love them too. Very comfortable. We walk all day long in them. Very cute, ands stylish. The black Plim Soul Lux where the only pair that I had to break in the rest I wore all day long right out of the box with no issues. I ware wide and thank you Taos for making wide options, which alone has improved the pain in my feet, just by having toe room.

I love these shoes

This is my second pair of this style of shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes. And even though they are a tennis shoe, they look good with casual clothes. If you’re going to wear heavy socks with them, you might want to go up a half size. The shoes have a great arch support, which is great for those who have to stand for long periods of time. All the TAOS shoes I have purchased have been well-made and comfortable.
