Perfect shoes for imperfect feet!

First, I hace terrible feet with arthritis pain, bunions, plantar fasciatis, and sensitive skin. So finding comfy reliable shoes for walking and travel is such a chore. Based on reviews I ordered these and another pair of Taos sandals for an upcoming trip to Europe. The arrived, I tried them on and packed them, and we left for the trip. I have now worn these or the other pair every single day, all day, for the past two weeks while walking for miles on uneven roads. Each pair truly is comfortable right out of the box with no wear-in required, and feel orthopedic while looking perfectly stylish and pretty for casual or dressy outfits. I actually feel better walking in them, with more energy to walk since my feet don't hurt or strain at all! Excellent for the PF as I have had no symptoms since wearing them. Very soft on my skin so no blisters, and also strong and supportive for arches and ankles. Adjustable for swollen feet. I just love these shoes! About to buy more!

Comfortable & attractive

Love the bronze color, these sandals feel great right out of the box. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis in one foot, and Morton's neuroma in the other. So the support is essential. These will be my summer travel sandal when I expect to do a lot of walking.

No more heel pain!

I have never reviewed a shoe but had to do so here. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and a bunion and these are the only sandals that work for me! The arch support and the raised heel are perfect in redistributing the weight off my heel. This shoe has given me back my summer. I’ll see how they hold up. Please keep making sandals with the 1. 75 inch heel! Ps the only other shoe I wear of any brands is the Crave boot. I loved them so much I wondered if their sandal would be right for me. It was. Thank you, Taos!!!

A Great Sandal

I have this sandle in many colors. I have problem feet. I have high arches, have had bunion surgery, bunion on one foot, plantar faccitis. these shoes are my go to in warmer weather. Very stylish and I can walk all day in them.

A Miracle In A Sandal

Best sandals I own. I struggle with severe plantar fasciitis pain. Severe pronating which make it very hard to walk and limit me. These sandals were heaven to my feet. I can wear them all day! Super comfortable and stylish. Even war them to run errands and had no foot pain

Great supportive shoe

This is the third pair of Taos Trulie sandals I have purchased. Each pair have been Long lasting and the adjustable straps have made them a perfect fit every time I put them on. Because the arch support was so effective I wore them when I had plantar fasciitis. They were the only shoes I could wear at that time.

HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION FOR TAOS TRULIE SANDALSS

Taos Trulie sandals are extremely comfortable for all day, everyday wear and perfect for traveling. I now have two pair of black, a pair of navy and just purchased a pair in bronze. The adjustable soft leather woven straps can be loosen/ tighten over toes and around ankle. They have arch support and suburb cork- polyurethane footbed that help me feel like I am walking on air. I live in Forida and wear these sandals everyday all year long. I highly recommend Taos Trulie Sandals I am sure you will agree when you purchase a pair.

Very comfortable, high quality sandals!

The Taos sandals made in Spain are very high quality….leather strap linings and suede footbeds. The cork footbeds work wonders for my plantar fasciitis issues. The quality is above the current standards for most shoes currently available. For a slightly higher heel, Trulie is a great choice. Luckie is a wonderful lower heeled sandal.

Great support!

Great for plantar fasciitis! I needed arch support, with a little incline and adjustable straps and couldn't find anything. This checked all my boxes. I also dont need to wear my foot brace because of the support. Hope Taos keeps this sandal in their line. Definitely recommend!

These are my 2nd pair

These are my 2nd pair of this Sandal. These are the most comfortable sandals I have for my plantar fasciitis. Great arch support and light weight.

Stylish AND incredibly comfortable. I

Stylish AND incredibly comfortable. I wish I had discovered this brand sooner. The first time I wore them was for a full evening - about 4-1/2 hours. Absolutely comfortable the entire time. I have bunions on both feet. The gap between the cross straps was perfect. The beige/light tan color of the straps and the foot bed eliminated the sometimes unsightliness of my foot with bunion. I also have high arches. The adjustability was excellent - no pressure points anywhere.

I own 7 pairs of

I own 7 pairs of Trulie sandals. They have saved me from the pain of plantar fasciitis and old, flat feet. I can wear them, standing (I’m a teacher) all day and my feet do t feel tired.

Pricey but wonderful

I have very picky feet with multiple issues, especially Plantar Fascial Fibromatosis and bunions. I’ve worn or tried many comfort sandals. I didn’t think these looked comfortable but tried them on because I thought they were cute and liked the neutral color. Then I bought them and haven’t looked back. They have replaced all my others (Teva, Dansko, Vionic and more) as my favorite and most comfortable sandals. They fit well, the footbed and straps are comfortable, and I’ve had no issues with the Velcro. I only marked it down 1 star because of their price. (Sorry for the bad photos, I was actually taking a picture of the linen pants:)

Worth it!!

These are great. I was in Arlington on vacation and saw a shoe store with all these supportive shoes. I was in a lot pain from plantar fasciitis for several weeks and sightseeing was hurting me so much. I got these shoes and felt better right away because of the support. It took some time for my foot to heal but now I can wear these all day long with no issues!! Definitely worth the money!

Amazing Fit!

I have a horrible time finding shoes for my wide feet with bunionettes (on pinky toe side). I also have plantar fasciitis. These were so comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in period at all. These are even better than Oofos & Gravity Defyer in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and buy these shoes!!

Comfortable and stylish

I love Taos shoes! I have 8 pairs in different styles and colors for every occasion. The cork footbed and arch support are what make the shoes so comfortable. I have a high arch and can’t wear flat shoes so these are perfect for my feet. I also love that all straps are adjustable for a custom fit. These shoes are also well made and stylish. A girl has to look good!

Versatile, comfortable & pretty

I had foot changes in recent years that require a wide width. These are stylish and comfortable! The quality is excellent, leather soft and footbed cushioned in just the right amount. I LOVE the arch support and the points of adjustability! I purchased the stone color and it is a perfect neutral. Looking forward to wearing it when our weather in the Northeast allows. Thank you for making these in wide widths and please offer more for all the seasons!

Love These Sandals!

After dealing with plantar fasciitis for quite a few months and wondering what I could wear for sandals in the summer (I knew my other sandals wouldn't work for me), I decided to give the Taos Trulie a try. I bought a pair in black and just loved them! They are so comfortable, and I had no issues when walking, even longer distances. I ended up ordering three more pairs in brown, gray, and navy and will probably order more colors next summer. I do have a narrow foot, but with the Velcro strap, I can easily make them work to fit my foot nicely. I'm also a size 11-11 1/2, but I have to order a 12 or 43 for this particular brand.

Post foot reconstructive surgery - AMAZING

I had reconstructive foot surgery 3 years ago to correct flat foot from Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction. I typically wear rigid orthotics to support my feet - not an option with sandals. These are the most supportive best sandals I now own. I can wear them all day. Fit (with the two velcro closures) and support are wonderful. I don't like to spend almost $200 on shoes - but this was worth every penny. I bought a second pair in black leather for dressier outfits.

Absolutely LOVE the Trulie

This is my second pair of Trulie sandals. I had been eyeing this color, and then it went on clearance! I was so happy to snag such a deal. I travel a lot and these shoes are so comfortable straight out of the box. Great for relieving plantar fasciitis. I love the adjustable Velcro straps. Shoe can be dressed up or down. Very versatile.

Excellent arch support

Some of the more recent taos sandles have not provided the taos support I had become accustomed too. However the Trulie has excellent support for my flat feet & don't need to use the shop bought orthotics. I can wear comfortably all day. I'm usually a size 41, did need to go up to a 42.

Cute Supportive Sandal

Love this sandal. The bronze color works with so much in my wardrobe. The arch support is awesome. I thought the heel would be too much, but it is perfect. It also looks so nice on my foot. I have arthritis and bunions, but it does not show with this style.

More supportive than expected for a sandal

I have high arches and narrow feet. I loved my old Taos Jive 2 dress shoes so I did not hesitate to try Taos for sandals. But I expected them to be flat, rub on my heels and toes, and not be supportive, just because that’s how every sandal is. But these are not! They have a slight heel, a decent arch, and adjustable straps. I can practically run in them. They are more supportive of my weak ankle than I would have thought. I never twisted my ankle during our week long trip to Hawaii except in my tennis shoes- Never in my Taos!

My favorite sandal! This is

My favorite sandal! This is the fourth pair of Trulie’s that I’ve purchased. The Trulie is designed to fit any foot because the straps are adjustable. The heel height is perfect for my feet as I cannot wear a flat sandle nor a tall wedge due to my high arch and weak ankle. These are supportive and comfortable for walking or wearing all day.

These are amazing sandals and

These are amazing sandals and such a great blue color. I bought a pair several years ago not intending these at all. The sales clerk suggested these and it was love at first try on. The cork sole is so comfy and offers excellent arch support. I can walk in these all day. And they are fully adjustable to offer the perfect fit (I have narrow feet and sometimes have problems finding proper fitting shoes. Couldn’t find them for awhile and decided to check the website and there they were, so I grabbed a pair. No regrets. Waiting for summer. Love them!

Absolutely love these shoes- really all of Taos shoes. I have bunions and plantar fasciitis and their shoes addressboth problems while looking great!

Good bye achy feet

This sandals are extremely comfortable and give me all the support I need, I have plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes I can wear now without the pain. I have three pairs so far and my only complain is that sometimes the sizing is not consistent, but the returns and exchanges are easy.

Brass love

I like my sandals. The sandals are comfortable I can wear them for long periods of time and they are fashionable. Thank you for making a sandal with good support because I have plantar fasciitis.

Best Shoe for Everyday Walking

This is the best shoe for everyday walking! I’ve gotten compliments on it too when I wear black pants & a beige top. It classes up the casual look of the shoe! These are just so comfortable to my feet & I have lower back issues & high arch feet, these are perfect for walking all day!

Stylish shoe for Hallux Rigidus/Limitus

A very attractive option for someone like me with big-toe arthritis. I am also a pronator and need good arch support. The rigid sole and adjustable straps are exactly what I need. I also wear the Wolky Jewel, but this is a more dainty shoe and has been working really well.

Most comfortable sandals!

Very comfortable. I have flat feet and these sandals are perfect. Great arch support. I will be buying more of this brand.

It is Trulie my Favorite

This summer I bought my fifth and sixth pair of Trulies. I love this new color blend of Navy And coral. I started buying Trulies several years ago and they are still my favorite sandal. I have worn them for up to16 hours a day with my feet still comfortable. The arch support is superb. I am on my feet all day for work and the support amazing! On vacation they are stylish and can be worn for day and evening wear. On vacation to Canada in 2019 I took two pairs of Trulies and they wore like a dream. 4 days walking all over Quebec City area and three days in Montreal. I traded them every day so they could breathe but they held up to the 50+ miles I put on them. I now buy 2 new pairs every year. The original pair is still going, they live up to the challenge!

Trulie comfortable

I love these sandals. The adjustable straps insure comfort throughout the day. They offer great arch support and the cork sole cushions each step. My size runs between 7.5 and 8 depending upon the style. I found the European 39 works best for me.

Most supportive and comfortable sandal ever

Found a pair in my size at a thrift store for $12. Fit is amazing and the style disguises my worsening bunion (due to rheumatoid arthritis). Bought another color at the local Tao's shoe store for $166. 😳 (Averaging the two, I got a great deal! 😉) They are so incredibly comfortable and suitable to wear with summer dresses, capris, and shorts. I love them!

Recommended.

The shoes are very supportive and comfortable. Even with a Morton’s Neuroma in one foot and Rheumatoid Arthritis, I am able to walk without to much discomfort. After purchasing these, wearing them, I bought two more pair.

Great for walking

I was skeptical that a sandal could truly be a good walking shoe. I’ve tested these out, and they are wonderful. I’ve worn custom orthotics for 30 years. It’s nice to find a summer sandal I can count on.

Very comfortable!

Excellent arch support! I ordered them in wide. They weren't too bulky. Love the neutral colors. Happy with how comfortable they are, no comparison to any of my other sandals. Also love that they are velcro so I can adjust them to the exact tightness I like. I have a small bunion on one foot and these did not hurt at all. I ordered a 7 -7.5, 7.5 is my usual size, but like I said, I ordered them in W. They fit perfect for me, which is rare.

Love These Sandals

I have a pair of these in blue that I bought several years ago and love them. They are the most comfortable sandals that I own, I have walked taken my other ones on several trips and they are always so comfortable even with all the walking required. I have a bunion on my left foot so not all shoes are comfortable; however, these work great because of the adjustable straps.

Comfy and Adorable

These sandals are adorable and so comfortable. I have trouble with skin rashes and the cotton straps are perfect for me. The soles of the sandals offer good support as well. I like em and plan to enjoy them! PS These are sandals so I didn't expect a cure for foot pain but they do feel really good on my feet and I have no discomfort. :)

Perfect fit on a challenging foot

This a fantastic Sandal! Even my troubled feet are happy in these sandals. The footbed is wonderfully supportive, the adjustable Velcro straps fit my ridiculously high arches, and the leather formed around my feet in no time. I should buy another color quickly!

Can walk all day

I have a very high arch and the footbed of this sandal fits it perfectly. Adjustable velcro strap works well for those long hot, end-of-the day walks. Going to hate giving them up when the leaves start to fall

Great sandals

I saw these sandals on

I saw these sandals on another woman at a warm vacation destination this past winter. With the ‘Taos’ brand name subtly imprinted on the outside of the strap I could tell the brand and immediately looked them up. I added them to my Taos cart and kept coming back to them over the next few months. My only hesitation was the very hefty price tag…I had never spent that much for a pair of winter boots-never mind sandals! But, I finally ordered them and I am glad I did. The stone color is so versatile and the style makes them perfect with a dress or jeans. I can see these being the daily sandal on any trip with lots of walking, and for any evening out during the warm months, as well as on ‘errand day’. They are comfortable with perfect arch support and adding a little height. I have already received compliments and inquiries. These will remain next to my other Taos sandals bedside, all summer, as I will be wearing one or the other every day!

Comfy out of the box

I had to exchange my order for the next size up and I’m so glad I did. The arch support is amazing and the straps are adjustable so there’s no pinching in the toes. I wore them for an afternoon as soon as they came. I don’t think they need a break in period! Looking forward to warm weather so I can wear them more.

Good option

Lightweight, nice style , adjustable straps perfect for narrow feet. 4**** because I can feel the velcro and braided strap on my skin when walking and the arch support not as good as Birkenstocks or Vionic brands, especially at over CAD 200!

This is the second pair

This is the second pair I bought to replace my first pair that lasted for many (6?) years. They are the same as the first pair, comfortable for walking, good arch support and cushioning. The straps are adjustable in every direction.

Great sandal

Fits well with adjustable straps and good arch support. Have worn it all day teaching so I’m on my feet a lot.
