Go for it!

I really hesitated on buying these due to the price point and some of the reviews saying they aren’t as comfortable as advertised, issues with the straps, leather coming up high against the ankle etc. They are comfortable. No doubt about that. If you are looking for a very thick footbed and ridiculously high arch though, I can see why some customers MIGHT give a lower rating…BUT they are 100% cushiony and have the arch support 99% of the people buying these will need. I actually love that the footbed isn’t awkwardly thick because the sole has some flexibility which a proper walking shoe needs. Onto the straps. They are comfy! They are soft and pliable on the foot - overall they aren’t going to dig in or rub a whole lot (I have sensitive feet and get friction blisters…I don’t with these). Unless you have very sensitive feet or order the wrong size, you’re not going to have issues. If you have a VERY narrow foot, yes, your foot may move around a bit even with the straps pulled tight (I have pretty narrow feet and they are fine)…and they can be adjusted for wider feet, but if you have very very wide feet, I could see this style digging in because of the overall design on top of the foot arch where it doesn’t adjust. This style will fit a narrow to a wider foot but if you are an extreme case on either side of the coin, ok yes, maybe not the ideal shoe for you. If you have a pretty normal foot you’re golden! Velcro. It’s fine. Maybe if you are getting these things dirty or storing them where there are dust bunnies without securing the velcro, it might wear down from dirt, moisture or neglect with time. Admittedly I have only had these a short while…so time will indeed tell. You do need to use the Velcro over and over to get them on and off. I could see the velcro wearing down with age and frequency, but it is strong…not weak at all like some of the reviews state. Reports of these coming undone with only a few wears…. something else is going on (on too big a foot or velcro is wearing down for other reasons than wear). The upper leather strap does come up JUST below the ankle. I personally don’t find it bothersome but I can see why people may have rated it lower than 5 stars because of this. Again, the straps are so nice and having a bit of structure against the ankle to prevent rolling on uneven surfaces is actually quite nice. I’m very happy with my investment. As advertised, they go with everything, will likely be the only shoe I need for summer travel (I do a ton of walking around in European cities). I expect I will be living in these and likely will be buying more in time.

The most comfortable sandals

I now have 4 pair of Taos sandals, which is amazing since I haven’t been able to wear sandals in many years. Between arthritis and plantar fasciitis, it was clunky sneakers for me until Taos came along. I also have several pair of z soul canvas sneakers that I have worn for the past 2 years. Thanks, Taos, for lowering 30 years of foot pain to almost zero!

Cute, comfortable and supportive ❤️

I bought these while on vacation in Colorado. Wore them the next day throughout the day and our many activities with fair amount of walking. I suffer from Plantar fasciitis and my feet never hurt wearing all day right out of box. Despite some swelling due to long ride there in car to visit they easily adjusted to accomadate for. The foot bed is soft but supportive. Not to mention they are adorable little sandals with any summer fashion. Very pleased!

I got these shoes for a trip to Europe. They are stylish and comfortable. I've had issues with plantar fasciitis, but I did not have any heel pain after spending several days and walking many miles in these shoes.

Comfy and Supportive

This is a very comfortable shoe. The arch support is great for plantar fasciitis. The Velcro closures make these easy to take on and off. I typically wear an 8 1/2 but usually size up for length on Taos shoes. The 9 fits perfectly. I bought the oak color, and it’s a great neutral that goes well with every outfit.

Own Multiple Pairs

Recently diagnosed with hallux limitus (big toe issues / arthritis) and have high volume, high arch, wide feet. Wish it was a few millimeters wider or there was a wide option. Leather is soft, could wear right our of box, but would say a few days to fully break in. Color wise, I wish it came in light gold like Lilly Pulitzer shoes.

Great sandal

These are some of the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever worn and give great support for my plantar fasciitis. Comfortable right out of the box. I sized down to an 8 because my usual size 9 was a little too loose

Best sandals ever

Okay, so you can kinda call me a bandwagon reviewer. I have worn Taos shoes off and on for the past 20 years. They are well-made shoes, especially for folks who don’t have your typical feet. When I saw "The Show" sandal on the Taos website, I read the description and thought, wow, these sound amazing, and they looked like an attractive shoe. Then I saw the number of 5-star reviews they had (this is where you can call me a bandwagon reviewer if you like), but these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn right out of the box. I bought them for a trip I am taking this summer, and I have been wearing them nonstop. They feel broken in from the get-go; the arch support is great (I have flat feet), and they are comfy. I can’t tell you enough how much I love these sandals. They really live up to the praise, and it is easy to see why they have over 4,000 5-star reviews. They are my favorite summer sandal.

Perfect for long summer days

I love these shoes! They are comfortable for walking all day. With the Velcro straps, I am able to adjust the width over the lower part near the toes and the wider part over my instep. The style helps in supporting then high arch of my foot without being uncomfortable. I first ordered this shoe in a larger size with a wide width as I did for the tennis shoes but found them very large on my foot. I returned them and exchanged for one size smaller in a medium width and they were perfect.

Good for My Small Feet with Bunions

I’m glad I bought these sandals. The footbed is comfortable and absorbs sweat with no odor. I have small bunions and worried whether the narrow strap would rub them or make them look prominent. They don’t. The velcro adjustments at the ankle and across the toes make the shoes feel like a custom fit. They look good and the leather is quality. Thumbs up! I’d buy them again.

New favorite sandal

I ordered the sandals for my bunions and they work ed out great. The leather is top of the line with great arch support. I have 2 pair now . I walked all through Europe with them. The plim Soul Lux is quality leather shoe Im glad I found these. A lot of wide shoes and sandals look old fashion. These are modern with the quality and comfort I like.

Just got my third pair of the Show!

I now have 3 pairs of the Show, and have one other pair of Taos sandals whose name escapes me. I have fallen arches and have had plantar fasciitis, but I can wear these all day, day after day, without problem. My heels are narrow, but forefoot is of normal width, and sometimes I have a tough time finding shoes that work. These are very comfortable. I just ordered my first pair of the Loop and can't wait to see if I like them as much. Taos brand shoes are great and I've told friends about them.

I was hesitant about ordering

I was hesitant about ordering these online without trying them on beforehand. I was presently surprised. The fit was great and very comfortable. I love that I can adjust them because my feet can be a bit narrow. i have plantar fasciitis so I am needing a good shoe that's good support. Overall a great shoefor me.

Love the style, comfortable fit and ease of putting the sandals on! The softness of the leather is exquisite and the color is rich. The support helps my plantar fasciitis where I can walk in comfort.

Well made shoe

You can instantly see the quality in this sandal. Sandals are hard for me to find with plantar fasciitis but these are so comfy and great support!

This is my first Taos

This is my first Taos order and probably won't be my last. These sandals are stylish and go with everything, ordered them for an upcoming beach trip. Very comfortable and didn't require any breaking in. I have very high arches and these sandals are good, I could probably use a bit more arch support but I think my arches are higher than most. Also have narrow feet and these feel secure. Highly recommend.

Comfortable right of the box

These were comfortable right out of the box. I didn’t have to wear them in. I have wide forefront foot, narrow heal, high arch. I appreciated being able to adjust the straps to fit my feet perfectly. I wear between 6-1/2-7. Since there were not half sizes I bought a size 7 and it fit perfect. I have been wearing these everyday and have no problems.

Super-comfortable, great-looking, and true to size

Best summer sandals ever. Comfortable right out of the box, and they look wonderful with everything from shorts to jeans to linen pants to maxi skirts and dresses. Probably not enough arch support for some, but the footbed is super-soft. Nice grip on wet floors. The caramel color is so versatile, and I just ordered another pair in mocha. I have an average-width foot and take a 9 in dress shoes and a 9. 5 in boots and athletic shoes, and the 9 fits perfectly. The 10 definitely would have been too big.

Classic and versatile!

I love the look of these sandals; the classic color and design go well with shorts, capris, or sundresses. The arch support, soft lining and padded heel strap make them comfortable to wear all day. And the adjustable straps let me loosen them if my feet swell during the day. The quality workmanship and materials are evident, and I expect to enjoy them for several summers.

Just bought my third pair of Show!

I love these sandals. I am 70, have fallen arches, and have had plantar fasciitis. I am careful about what shoes I wear. I have had a pair of Taos in another style for a few years, which were fine, and bought the Show based on the rave reviews. Then I bought a second pair, and now a third. After living in sneakers with orthotics except for dress occasions, I can't tell you how great it is to just slip into a pair of sandals and go. Convinced a friend to try them as well, and she's now gotten a second pair. Love them!

Best Sandal Ever! Great fit in size 10.

These sandals are perfect. I’m back to buy another pair. I’ve had mine for more than a year, and I’ve walked miles and miles in them. I’m 62 and have had plantar fasciitis and miniscus tears in both knees. I’m VERY picky about my shoes. Before these I could not have both comfort and style. I love love love the shoes. Adjustable in the right places and the perfect length (if you wear a 10, you know what I mean). Mine still look new. They’ve been rain-soaked several times. I wear on the beach, and they just look better and better. I have the caramel color and am trying to decide on another color because the ones I have are not worn out!

Happy Feet Happy Woman

I have difficulty finding comfortable sandals and have been so happy to find these. My feet are problematic with bunions, flat arches, But these sandals have given my feet 'new life'! I can walk in these all day and also they look stylish with all my summer clothes. I enjoyed the Taos product so much that bought three other pairs in different colors and features.

Heavenly Sandals!

I am in LOVE with these shoes!!! I have a bone growth on my ankle which interferes with many shoes, but these adjustable straps are exactly the solution to my problem. The arch support helps with my high arches, as well, and makes walking the dog a delight again. And have I mentioned the padding??? It’s like walking on pillows. Really, I can only say, despite the price, you will be happy to have purchased these beauties❤️

Best sandal ever

I have bunions & really touchy feet so cannot wear just any shoes or sandals. I ordered The Show in a wide width & am so happy with them. I am used to sandals hurting after walking any length of time but these are amazingly comfortable, soft, & supportive. I’m looking forward to getting another color.

I love these sandals. The

I love these sandals. The leather is beautiful and soft on the inside against my foot. We're just starting to have sandal weather here, so I expect to wear them often. I have narrow feet with long toes, so I had to go up a size, but the arch support still fits my foot. The adjustable straps are critical to the fit.

Great shoe

I bought these shoes to take on an upcoming trip because sneakers make my feet too hot. I tried them out walking around for a day and was pleased at the comfort. I like that the straps are adjustable so they fit my narrow foot. I do wish they had a little more arch support.

10/10. Perfect for wearing all

10/10. Perfect for wearing all around UK to sightsee on my trip in late June during the hot weather (and at home in TX). Love these sandals. Had them on for all 4 days in London walking around the city and 1 of my days in Edinburgh for tea. Can’t say enough about these shoes and how they saved my feet from being too hot and had plenty of cushion to take care of my plantar fasciitis. No rubbing, no blisters, just perfect!!

Love these sandals so much!

Absolutely love the style and color. The style is, well, more stylish than the usual nice leather sandal! It fit perfectly and adjusts easily with the" no see" velcro. The velcro straps are easy to manipulate, even with some arthritis to deal with. They are very, very comfortable are safe to wear; no foot slippage in sandal and no slippage on outside bottom of shoe. I am sometimes bothered by discomfort in the ball of my foot after standing on hard surfaces, so I plan to get simple cushions for that. Its not concern enough to make me not wear them though. In any event, I love these so much I wish I could get an ankle boot in that exact same Steel Grey color and comfort level! If it was also of a similar style to the sandal, that would be fabulous. It is just gorgeous!

Very comfortable

Very pleased. I have a difficult time buying shoes because of bunions, narrow feet and collapsing arches. I’m elderly and want good support which this shoe definitely has. They’re also fashionable!!

Great orthopedic and yet CUTE sandal.

These are the best Taos ever. I love them so much I bought them in two colors. I got the teal and natural. I just had a spinal fusion surgery and have already had a hip replacement, 2 knee surgeries and 4 foot surgeries. Suffice it to say, I HAVE to have comfortable shoes, no matter what they look like. I didn't know if these would have enough support or the heel be supported enough so my foot doesn't slip but they are excellent. I have a wide foot and high instep, so having the adjustable straps is a game changer for me on all sandals. As well, I just like how they look. They are almost like gladiator sandals, but still comfortable. I wore them all day for the past two days and my back and feet feel great. Very happy with my purchase. I would buy them in all colors if I could.

I needed comfortable but sturdy and stable walking sandals. These sandals feel like walking on clouds right out of the box. They’re super comfortable, super adjustable for the perfect fit. I’m amazed. Sorry that I waited so long to try this brand!

Beautiful but not for feet with bunions

It’s a beautiful style and the quality is excellent, just like all other Taos shoes I’ve tried on. Sadly, the front strips rubbed against my bunions so I had to return them. If you don’t have bunions these may work out for you.

Needed more support

The quality & style were terrific. My feet need extra support. These did not provide high arch & thicker soles for the support I need. I would add that I liked the ability to adjust the straps, because I wear a 3AAA narrow shoe. Other styles of Taos shoe do not fit my feet. I was hopeful this one would work. Unfortunately it did not.

Love the Show. The black

Love the Show. The black ones are my 2nd and latest pair. I have put many miles on my camel pair that I purchased last summer. I wear them year round in Texas. I have a high arch and instep. I wear a 7 medium width in the show and an 7 1/2 wide in tennis shoes.

Foot pain solution

As someone that has been riddled with foot pain for decades, I don’t mind spending money as long as the shoe is comfortable and so far this shoe gives me the arch support I need. My goal is to take these to Italy in September and survive the cobblestone streets.

First time Taos customer

Very pleased with this purchase. Very comfortable, from the first time I wore them. I really like the adjustable straps because I have arthritis, and sometimes my feet swell. My feet feel very supported when walking in these sandals.

So comfy

I wore these straight out of the box to a concert in the city - lots of walking, hours of standing and dancing, and no issues with my back or heel pain. Can't wait to get other sandals in other styles and colors!

The Perfect Sandal

These sandals are now my most worn. They are extremely comfortable and will take me through a long day of walking without a problem. I opted for the neutral color and they go with everything. I love how both straps are adjustable for a perfect fit. I am normally a 6 1/2 or 7, I ordered the 7. They have a little room on the footbed but the arch fits exactly where it should. Absolutely no complaints with this purchase.

So comfy

Basically these are the only sandals I can wear. They are so comfortable with great arch support and nothing between your toes! I can wear them for hours with no back problems also. I highly recommend these sandals. Plus they are just cute. I get compliments on them all the time! They run true to size and you can adjust the closure. Enjoy!

I love this shoe! This

I love this shoe! This is my second pair. The leather is so soft,. . . the arch gives me good support. . . and for those days when your feet are a bit swollen, the velcro straps are quickly adjustable for your comfort. I had a bad case of gout the other day, and these shoes were all I could wear that helped me walk with less pain.

All day comfort!

I needed a shoe in wide size and recieved these a few days ago. Wow! The footbed is so soft and cushy. It fits great and I love the carmel color. I've only worn them twice but the second time was for several hours. Walking, and up and down stairs. Lovely comfortable fit! I would buy this shoe in other colors!

Great Fit and Arch Support!

I own six pairs of Taos sneakers and one pair of sandals. I switch depending of the events. All are well made, comfortable, stylist and offer very good arch support. Needless to say, these are the sneakers and sandals I take on vacation. Well worth the money!

These are my favorite sandals as they are so comfortable, and the arch support is a big help to me. I feel good wearing them with my jeans, and they also go well with my dressier outfits. The leather is soft but gives good support to my feet. Love them.
