Amazing comfort and fit

One of the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. I have the Gift 2 as well from Taos and these are just as comfy. If I ever come across a black one I would definitely purchase again. The footbed is soft yet firm and comfortable and my plantar fasciitis does not act up with these on. My bunions also are hidden well and yet feel good against the leather. This is my 4th pair of sandals from Taos and I also own another 3 or 4 of their boots and shoes. Love the brand! Worth the price.

I suffer with an Achilles

I suffer with an Achilles tear( waiting for surgery) plantar fasciitis, a bunion and severe arthritis. These feel and look wonderful! I’m a 9 1/2 and bought the 10, it’s perfect. I have narrow feet but these aren’t too wide or too narrow. Feel heavenly! 😛

Say yes to Cute and comfy!

These shoes are comfortable and cute! I have plantar fasciitis and need some travel sandals for vacation, these are great. I love the leather, and the soles are great as well. There is good support in the arch as well.

Fun, comfortable sandal

The Guru sandals are very comfortable (my feet are medium width, slightly high arch), true to size, and very well made. The only thing that was slightly disappointing is that the leather is a bit shiny which I didn't see in the photos - but someone else might love this, it's just a personal preference. They're high quality, as every Taos shoe or sandal I've ordered has been. In most ways I like them actually more than I expected to. And their shipping was very efficient. I'm sure I'll love them for years to come. I don't have any foot issues, so I can't speak to that, but they are super comfortable for anyone who needs that (and who doesn't like comfort?).

Yes I would recommend these sandals.

Soft foot bed. My wide feet are happy. I find the braiding gives a bit more, allowing my bunions to sit naturally and not be pressured. the arch support is adequate could be a bit higher, but I'm not hiking in these beauties so not a problem. Nice quality, and classy styling.

So comfortable and love the weave and black goes with everything! This is my sixth pair of Toas shoes, and they have really helped me with my high arch and plantar fasciitis since I cannot wear shoes with backs since it flares up when I do. Love, love, love my Toas shoes and will continue buying them. Have not bought another brand since I started with these 😊

I really wanted to LOVE

I really wanted to LOVE these shoes. I do love the style, the quality of how soft and smooth they are, the look of how it can easily go with a variety of outfits, but the arch support is a little lacking. I have other Taos shoes and have always been well pleased with arch support to help with plantar fasciitis. These just don’t quite measure up. However, if you don’t need the extra arch support I would recommend these. They are one of those shoes you need to try before you buy.

Beautiful

I have plantar fasciitis and I have had 2 surgeries for it, so I need well made, comfortable shoes. I have several pairs of Taos, and they are extremely comfortable and I can walk for hours with no problems. I love the look of the Guru, and the footbed is extremely comfortable. The only letdown (just a little), they are a lot wider, so they are loose. I imagine over time they will be too loose.

Extremely comfortable

Comfortable right out of the box. Very soft supple leather. I’ve had some sandals made this way that cut into my toes, but I’m very impressed with the softness. My foot is on the narrow side with high arches and it fits pretty well without much slipping. Arches could be a little higher for my liking but it was supportive enough to order another pair!

I love my new Guru

I love my new Guru slides! So comfy right out of the box! I've wanted these sandals for awhile and finally took the plunge! I have ugly feet. Bunions and hammer toe, I can only wear certain shoes to be comfortable. Many Taos fit the bill. Guru in particular, comfy to my bunions and toe, plus the style HIDES both, which is a bonus for sure! The sole is super comfy and supportive. I will be wearing these all summer for everyday to out at night!

Comfy… just wish footbed were leather

Comfortable. I have foot issues (flat feet with big toe joint pain) and have found it very hard to find attractive leather sandals with arch support. Wish these had a bit more arch support, but it’s better than most sandals on the market. Would be perfect if footbed were leather (it’s microfiber, and feels like it) and shoes came in half sizes. I’m an 8.5/EU 39 and the 9 is just a tad too big for me.

Love these ssndals

I bought these for vacation and they were awesome! I could wear them anywhere; with shorts, or capris, jeans or a dress. Comfortable even though I have bunions and the perfect arch support for all day walking

Cute and supportive

I have very high arches, and while no sandal is comparable to having my orthotics, the sandal is very comfortable and supportive. I am between two sizes, and ended up keeping the load of the two.

Immediately comfortable and versatile

I bought these sandals to wear out to dinner while on vacation, but they were so comfortable that I wound up wearing them during the day while sightseeing as well. The inside material and footbed were immediately comfortable and provided much-needed arch support. The top leather is soft and moves with me. I did need a tiny Band-Aid to cover one spot on my big toe the first day, but they were great after that. I wore them with sundresses, travel pants, and jeans - they are so versatile.

Great sandal! I have narrow

Great sandal! I have narrow low loft feet and have struggled to find a good sandal but the Guru is perfect! I usually wear a size 7 1/2 but with no half sizes, ordered the 8 and it fits beautifully. They are very comfortable to walk in despite struggling with plantar fasciitis.

Guru sandal

These are my go to slides/sandals. I was skeptical how well they’d fit, but they are perfect. I’m an 11 with a narrow foot. I use them as slippers too bc I had severe plantar fasciitis & I don’t walk on ceramic tile barefoot. Love them !

This is my second pair

This is my second pair of the Guru sandal. It is extremely comfortable and supports my high arches. I can walk miles in them without foot pain. They are very attractive and extremely well made.

Great Sandals, Weird Feet

I love the way the Guru sandals look. I wore them grocery shopping the first day and they felt super comfortable. I was complimented on them as I went in. As I came out I was cussing and doing child-birth breathing to make it to the car because they’d rubbed blisters on the top of my pinkies. I’m pretty sure for most people that wouldn’t be a problem, but my pinkies tend to lift skyward (all the time). For me, they would be much more comfortable if there was a one-piece, soft, smooth- leather lining on the woven part. The foot-bed feels great, they ran true to size and accommodate my bunions well. I thought about returning them, but I really do like them so much that I’m going to wear them with silicon pinkie sleeves or blister band-aids. I love the brown color, but would really like to be able to buy a red pair as well.

I probably should have returned

I probably should have returned these as they are short but I didn’t because they don’t come in half sizes. I didn’t return for two reasons. The footbed is sooo comfortable and supportive. Secondly, the leather “strips” of the sandal are placed closer together than other sandals I’ve tried that allowed my bunion to protrude in the space. I’m fairly confident that, as I wear them, the leather will stretch and my foot will slide further into the footbed and not be so short.

Beautiful, comfy shoe (even for wide feet)

I am giving 4 stars because I love TAOS and this shoe is beautiful. You can tell the sole is super comfortable. However, I have to return because I have wide feet AND Tailors Bunions (bunionettes on pinky toes). So, if you have wide feet and those-- these will cause pain. I think if just have wide feet (not too wide, maybe just a D)- this WILL work for you. These stretch to a wide and are super comfortable. Hope this helps.

I really like the shoe.

I really like the shoe. It has great arch support, which I need for flat feet and a fallen arch. I have learned that good shoes make so much difference, as the pain and discomfort from wearing the wrong shoes can steel your joy!!! The shoe does run a bit wide, but it was not a problem for me.

Comfy AND flattering!

I have bunions so I have trouble finding flattering shoes that are also comfortable. These Tao sandals are both! I trekked around Boston my first time wearing them and they as comforable as slippers! Soft supportive soles and beautful leather uppers

I’m really enjoying my Guru shoes. There were comfortable right out of the box. I have a bunion on my right foot and the leather is soft and doesn’t cause my foot to hurt.?

Comfortable guru sandals

These sandals are so comfortable. Right out of the box they felt good with a great arch support and supple leather upper. The color goes with anything. I have worn them often and walked many miles and they only feel better as they age.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased Täōs Guru sandals. I Love them. Great arch support, which makes them so comfortable right out of the box! Size ref: I am a 7. 5, and I ordered a size 8. Perfect fit!

Perfect summer sandal

Very stylish and comfortable sandals. They look great with shorts or a casual dress. The sole is substantial and offers support, so definitely a shoe I can wear all day. Very high quality shoe.

Comfy

I could wear these all day and night and never have sore feet. I have wide feet and I did buy a shoe stretcher only because I like loose shoes otherwise they would have been fine. I have purchase two other styles from Taos and love them all. They are my new go to shoe brand

Love the style. Have bunion

Love the style. Have bunion and don’t like how narrow strap sandals look. Issue I have is with a long, size 11, narrower foot the leather is not snug so foot moves around now. I expect it would work better for wider foot bed.

Perfect casual sandal.

These are so comfortable. They form perfectly to the sole of my foot. I have a slightly high arch. The leather is soft and does not rub uncomfortably at all. They feel snug, but not tight. LOVE.

Buttery soft!

I love my new Guru Taos sandals! They fit perfectly and I can walk around all day in comfort. If you have bunions, you need these shoes because they are forgiving and so so fashionable!

Very comfortable

It’s hard for me to find comfortable shoes due to neuropathy. These fit great, stay on my feet and are now a favorite!

Fell in love seeing these online, have almost no complaints now that I have them. Very comfortable, minimal breaking in required. Considering a second pair in mocha. Only issue for me so far is they're a bit wide. I take the narrower width in Birkenstocks, though not in other shoes, and that would be the preferable width for these as well. Not by much though, my feet don't slide around as they would in wider width Birks. Usually a 6. 5 and went up to a 7 which is closer to a standard 6. 5 (tad short for 6. 5 but ended up perfect), so all around perfect shoe for Spring/Summer. Glad I ordered them! If arch support is important, this isn't that strong for me, but not a big deal for me.

A comfortable, supportive sandal to

A comfortable, supportive sandal to easily slip on, great for standing on hard floor kitchen floor. The R shoe rubs a bit on the top of my big toe but leather is supple and seems to be stretching out with wear. Shoe was initially a bit wider than average and feels like it will easily stretch more, fine for my feet may be too loose for a narrow foot. Versatile and easy to wear with most everything.

Very Comfortable

I purchased these about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love them. They are so comfortable, and I love the arch support is great. I'm 74 years young and I find that when I wear other sandals, my feet hurt quite a bit while walking and they have a pretty good arch support. But with the Taos sandals, I can actually go shopping all day without any pain in my feet. I highly recommend them.

These sandals are super comfy

These sandals are super comfy and they are really high quality! I've been wearing them around the house and can't wait until summer arrives when I can wear them daily outside. (The warmth of springtime has yet to arrive!) I love the olive color and they definitely live up to Taos' classic comfort. They fit perfectly - size 9 - which is the size I always order with Taos. Love them!

As someone who needs really

As someone who needs really solid arch support and a deeper heel as I deal with osteoarthritis, these sandals are terrific. They are soft, but offer the necessary support to walk pain-free all day long. I was hesitant to spend so much on sandals, but I will attest that Taos is worth the price as their comfort pays dividends all day long!

The sandals I now reach for

I'm not sure these go with everything, but let's hope they do, since I'm wearing them every day. The footbed feels lovely and soft; there's some arch support (although possibly not quite enough); my foot stays in place as I walk. I did have to return the 40s (my usual size) and get 41s--I have wide feet.

Love these sandals. The footbed is so soft yet supportive, the arch is great! I wear a 7. 5 so I got an 8 and the length is fine. My foot is on the narrow side so while they aren’t snug these sandals fit well and my feet don’t slide out. Super easy to walk in and very comfortable.

Comfortable

These are beautiful slides. Comfort is spot on for the most part but I feel like the arch support may not be as supportive. And in one of my shoes is a slight lump where the metatarsal support is. and size up!

These shoes are very comfortable, good arch support, and the color of red very classy. I have the same shoe in the honey color and it seems to be a bit wider but for my B width foot this one works good.

Great foot-hugging sandal

Pretty comfortable but a little snug. I expect the leather weave will loosen with wear. Like all my Taos sandals, great arch support and foot-bed comfort.

I like a slide in

I like a slide in sandal, but they need to be comfortable and easy to walk in without sliding around my foot. These, while they seem on the flat side, offer excellent support for my arch without causing foot pain. They are easy to wear without being too tight or too loose. They are so comfortable I bought a second pair in another color.
