Cute and comfortable Chit Chat flats

I recently received these ballet flats in the Coco suede and love them! I am so pleased with the fit of the shoe and the quality of the suede. Also, I have a bunion on my right foot and this shoe is soft enough and wide enough in the toe box to not cause pain on that foot. And of course, the footbed and sole make this shoe very comfortable to wear. This is a perfect transitional shoe between my Trulie sandals and my Crave and Dreamer boots. I’m so pleased with this shoe that I’ve just ordered a second pair in Olive. Thank you, Taos, for the quality and the comfort.

Very supportive and cute

I bought these in the new caramel color and I’m very pleased with them. They’re so much more supportive and plush than other flats I’ve tried. I cannot wear any shoes without arch support and a generally supportive footbed as I have had recurrent plantar fasciitis. These did not disappoint. And they’re very attractive as well.

Comfortable

These are pretty good. I have plantar fasciitis so I am always looking for office shoes I can actually wear. I can walk around and stand for moderate amounts of time, but would not be able to do all day standing in these. I always order a half size up from my usual shoe size in Taos and that was perfect.

First Flat

In 55 years I’ve never been able to wear a flat style shoe due to high arches, wide toes, and narrow heals. These are made with quality and a beautiful shape. I was able to add arch insert due to high arches. These are very comfortable shoes even though I bought a size 9 that are a size to small. I wish they came in 9 1/2 or 10. A dream design would be a small adjustable pull tab like a baseball cap for a adjustable custom secured fit on heals. Beautiful shoe highly recommend Thank you

Comfortable all over Rome - right out of the box!

So glad I found these right before our trip to Rome. My feet were so comfortable and supported walking all over Rome on bumpy irregular cobblestone streets. They fit perfectly, look really nice and have great arch support. I just bought my third pair in another color- so many great choices!

Beautiful, comfortable ballet flat

I love these ballet flats! I own them in Cocoa suede and Olive suede and couldn’t be happier with the look, fit, and most of all the comfort. I ordered my usual size shoe and they fit perfectly even with my bunion on my right foot. Also, I did a lot of walking with this shoe 2 weeks ago in Cambridge, MA and my feet were very happy. I’m anxiously waiting for the Caramel to be restocked so I can order another pair. Nice looking, smartly designed shoe that is as comfortable as can be. Thank you, Taos, for making quality shoes that are comfortable.

Terrific shoes! I ordered two colors and am keeping them both. I love Taos because their insoles work for me (I have plantar fasciitis) and the shoes aren’t frumpy like those off so many other foot support conscious companies.

Chit Chat

I now have these shoes in four colors. They are the most comfortable flats I own and always the first shoes I grab when going out. They are true to size and the leather is sturdy yet soft. I have difficulty with arthritis on the top of my left foot, and these shoes are one of the only dress shoes that don't interfere with that area, I hope they come in other colors for spring.

I love a nice ballet

I love a nice ballet shoe and this one fits the bill. Comfort right out of the box. No break in period needed. Soft leather and a much needed arch support for me.

A very nice flat

I have a terrible time with flats. They fall off my feet or pinch my toes. These flats are soft. I have no problem with slipping off the heel. The footbed is supportive with reasonable arch support. They are super cute. I didn’t give them 5 stars because they did pinch my toes a bit. Maybe the next size up would have worked better, but I always have trouble with them sliding off my heel so I opted for the size 8. I usually wear an 8-8 1/2.

Too cha cha for words!

My olive Chit Chats just arrived and I couldn’t be happier. I’m always a bit reluctant to order a medium width due to a large bunion and hammer toes. The square toe box in this cutie has plenty of room and the 3/4” graduated heel makes the “perfect” ballet slipper. When I finish this review I am ordering a pair of the Coco suede. I’m so grateful to have such a selection offered from Taos, these shoes/sneakers have literally saved my life.

I have a high arch

I have a high arch and square toes…. My husband says I’ve got Fred Flinstone feet lol. I have never found a pair of ballet type flats that I could wear all day without cramping my toes, slipping off my heel or that my feet were exhausted by the end of the day…. Until now. I LOVE these shoes! It was the first time buying this brand and since then I’ve bought 2 more pair in different styles. I have found a new favorite brand of shoes.

I'm going to need more than one pair!

These just arrived in Olive, and I wore them to a wedding the moment I took them out of the box. They are SO comfortable, don't hurt my bunion and have super support. I'm going to need all the colors!

What a gem!

This little flat is a gem! This very attractive shoe has soft leather that quickly molds to the shape of your foot. I have a narrow heel but a wider front of my foot, but the toe box on this shoe is perfect. The shoes are comfortable and have a flexible non-slip sole.These are my first shoes from Taos, but they won't be my last.

Super comfortable; wear it all day!

I absolutely love this flat. It’s a bit wider than my normal B width, but that just seems to add to the comfort. The cushioning is superb…like slipping into a cloud. Bought it in the rich burgundy red. So pretty. A very neutral color. Buying the caramel next.

Mom loves these shoes so much she needed them in another color

My mother and I went shoe shopping recently. Mom has never relished trying on new shoes due to her bunions. I encouraged her to try on this Taos shoe because I have had such good experiences with Taos wool mules. Mom found these shoes to be very comfortable with excellent traction. She liked them so much that she soon wanted another pair in a different color. We agreed that Champagne would be very versatile and ordered them through Taos website. Shipping took a little longer than the tracking estmates, but they arrived a few days later in great shape. Mom is very happy with them :)

I bought one pair of

I bought one pair of these on a whim and I have been back for two more colors. They are beautifully made and are so comfortable on my feet. I have some arthritis on the top of my left foot and these are the only shoes I can wear and be totally comfortable.

Love these shoes!!

I have them in black and brown, wish they would come in beige and red too!! I have problem feet and wear sneakers, Taos of course, but I wore the chit chats all day yesterday with a lot of walking. They felt great all day!!

Great Flat

Same great quality shoe which I always find with Taos Shoes. I have a bunion on my left foot and the fit is comfortable despite it. I would recommend.

Really comfy and do not rub against taylor's bunion as other flats do. Very supportive as well.

From Box to Party

Last minute shoes for a family wedding, and they arrived just in time, fit wonderfully, no painfully back (despite a heel spur), and were surprisingly comfortable for a lot of time on my feet. After trying 9 other brands of dress shoes, what a relief! I knew I could rely on Taos. These don't have quite the arch support of the sneakers, but are far better than any others I tried. I mostly wear 9 (sometimes 8.5), though Taos Mary Janes I tried were roomy in a 9, these fit just right - straight from the box, no break in required! A winner of a ballet flat!

Best Ever

I have struggled to wear flats forever! Between slipping in the back to being unsupportive I was never able to wear them until now! These are very comfortable with no slip and great arch support! I even wear them when I walk my dogs :) On top of that, they are super cute. Favorite outfits= Jeans, sweater or shirt pending weather and my new Taos flats! Service was excellent with easy checkout online and speedy delivery.

Really like these shoes and very happy they have an arch in them. I usually wear wide width, but these seem to have ample toe width. It’s my second pr of Chit Chats…these seem to run a bit shorter than the black ones and my toe is rubbing. Wishing I had ordered a half size larger to try.

Good support in a ballet flat.

I love them! They are beautiful and offer good support (very hard to find in a ballet flat). I do think they run a bit small. That has been my over all experience with Taos though. I usually have to size up one size. The flats are beautiful, comfortable and of good quality.

Best flats ever

I love these shoes. I also have them in white! They have great arch support and they don't rub on the backs of your heels like most flats do. And they have plenty of room in the toe box for your toes so they aren't all squished up.

I’ve been wearing Taos sneakers for years. This is the first pair of flats from Taos. They did not disappoint. They are comfy and have great arch support which is not commonly found in dress flats.

I have several pair of

I have several pair of Taos shoes. This is the first pair that I do not love. I ordered a size 9 to make sure they were long enough but unfortunately the toe box is short. Also, they do not have the arch support I am used to in Taos products. I have worn them once but they were uncomfortable and I shall not be wearing them again. I started buying Taos in a local store but have purchased several pair online. I do not think I will be purchasing online again. I guess it is best to try them on before purchasing.

Most communication is mostly done through emails

Received shoes, suede worn badly in places, I wrote a bad review before issue was completed. Their C. S. ended up being very good after attempting several times to get issue resolved. They gave me full credit which is outstanding. The shoes do run a little short and the heel rubs a bit which I failed to mention to Customer Service. However, they are very comfortable in footbed, arch, etc.

Walking with Chit Chat is

Walking with Chit Chat is just like gliding in the clouds, the softest leather that you feel like you’re bare-footed. I can wear it for several hours at work and come home without any stress on my feet. Very comfortable and very chic. I’m ready to buy another pair if there’s a beige color with same kind of leather. I’m size 7 and the sizing is perfect.

Adding to my Taos collection

Love the comfort , wide toe box . They seem to be a 1/4 size short or the toe box a little shallow for the big toe. The elastic a bit tighter on the R . Hope they will stretch to perfection in which case I’ll grab other colors . Becoming a Taos fan with several now in my collection:) orange suede not as bright as online but still fun

Great supportive flat

One of the most comfortable flats I've bought in along time. I wore for 12 hours walking 10,000 steps the first week I had them. The heel can rub a little bit so I'd say good no-show socks ae a must. These likely run a little wide as they fit me comfortably and my feet run wide.

Great Look For Winter Wear

Bought a pair in black to wear in place of black boots for some winter days. It's nice to have a shoe that wears well with tights. This not only looks good, but supports my feet with great comfort thanks to the arch support that this shoe offers.

Just about perfect

Great shoes. True to size, very comfortable and good support. They are very versatile. Can be worn with jeans, dress pants and dresses. Highly recommend.
