Amazing comfort and support

These shoes are a miracle! I have one pair of Banter and one pair of Babble. Both styles are extremely comfortable and supportive. I wore them sightseeing in Europe and had no blisters, no sore feet, no trouble on the cobblestones. I wore these barefoot right out of the box and they do not rub or need breaking in. I have flat feet and need strong arch support and these shoes deliver without looking clunky or orthopedic. Highly recommend!

I love my first pair of Taos

I wore my Taos Banter shoes for the first time and it was a good experience. I was concerned there may not be enough support - but the food bed and arch are great. I needed to add metatarsal pads for my neuroma, but once I got those placed walking was comfortable. By the end of the day, though it was feeling tight around my bunion. But these are leather and I expect them to stretch and get more comfortable as I wear them. The style and color are beautiful. And I love the Velcro strap. Quality is excellent.

I love how these shoes

I love how these shoes look, and they are comfortable overall. But, the toe box is a little narrow and my foot feels pinched, especially with bunions. It is improving slightly with wear as the leather stretches. I tried a wide in a different color but they were just longer and not really wider. I had to return them.

Cute Supportive Mary Jane

I struggle with plantar fasciitis and have to be careful about the shoes I wear. These Mary Jane's are fashionable, so they coordinate with my outfits. Additionally, they provide great support for my feet. I have them in navy and brown and will consider getting them in black.

I really love these shoes!

I really love these shoes! They're a perfect combination of professional, cute, and comfortable. I absolutely love the soft, padded, suede insole that makes these very comfortable to wear without socks. The straps fasten with Velcro so you can adjust them as needed. The soles are a squishy rubber material that adds to the comfort of walking (and makes them quiet!). The all-leather construction allows your feet to breathe a bit and not end up clammy and sweaty as mine do with synthetic shoes and linings. They look really good with my fall work clothes. The square toe box leaves plenty of room for my toes without squashing them, adding to the comfort. I also think I'll have enough room to wear dress socks with them when the weather gets colder. I am extremely happy with these and highly recommend them!

Comfortable All Day Shoe

I have loved this shoe so far. The construction materials feel and look very nice. They are a good looking shoe. But on top of that, they are comfortable. I walked in them all day around Chicago and they felt good. The footbed is flexible for walking and the interior of the shoe is soft. I felt like they had just the right amount of support while also having a little give in the sole. I plan on buying more of these in other colors as I prefer to not wear heels any longer, but like a shoe with a little rise in the heel. My feel also tend to run a little wide (but not really a true wide), but the shoes were still a good fit. Very pleased.

I had foot surgery recently and have spent the past 2 months in either a post-surgical boot or wide sneakers. I was hence desperate for a pair of shoes that would be both super comfortable and stylish … and I found them! The fact that this particular style lends itself to dressing up or down is an added benefit for anyone who wants to look equally fabulous in jeans or a dress. PS I went up by half a size to accommodate a foot that is still a little swollen and sore.

These were incredibly comfortable right out of the box no break-in time needed, and I have flat feet. They seem pretty supportive and they’re very feminine and cute! Love these shoes and I plan on ordering more from this company!!

Wonderful shoe but scuffs easily

I purchase Banter shoes in the camel color. I love the shoes. They are comfortable, with great arch support and look great with casual or slightly dressed up looks. My only complaint is that the leather is quite soft and scuffs and marks quite easily. Any suggestions?

The leather is butter soft

The leather is butter soft right out of the packaging. The toe box was also roomy and comfortable, and with the adjustable straps, it made the fit great for my slightly different sized feet. Just a great shoe overall!

Charming shoe with support

These lovely shoes offer my daughter arch support and stability, while still looking feminine and elegant. Very pleased with the ability to easily tighten the velcro secured straps, which are placed to secure the foot, not dig into the ankle. The leather is a beautiful soft warm brown and the styling is timeless.

Comfy and stylish

Absolutely love this pair. Was looking for something to bring on our European trip and these were perfect. Nice look with low heel and sturdy bottom. Went nicely during day and looked great with a skirt. Extremely comfortable as they were nice and wide.

Soft Leather

The moment I slipped these on, the fit was perfect! It literally fit like a glove. There was zero break-in period; they were incredibly comfortable right out of the box and have remained just as supportive throughout the day.

Adorable & comfortable!

I’m so pleased with these flats. They dress up casual pants and are very comfy! They have good arch support as well, which is always critical for me.

At last, a dress shoe I can wear!

I have wide feet and wear orthotics, it’s been very hard to find shoes other than sneakers that can accommodate both issues. These were more expensive than I usually can spend on shoes, but it was worth it. So glad to have something more professional to wear at work.

Better than ballet slippers

These shoes may resemble ballet slippers, but they're much better for my feet. Super comfortable and elegant. These shoes don't look like orthotics, but they do the job for me. I got them because I needed dressier shoes than sneakers, and I am very pleased!

Love them! I have a

Love them! I have a lot of foot problems and can't get over how comfortable they were the first time I wore them. No breaking in. I wore them all day and my feet felt wonderful. Love the cognac color as well. I just ordered a second pair in black!

Excellent shoe!

Cute and comfortable. I wear them for work - I have arthritis in my feet and these shoes have replaced most of what I would have worn. They do not irritate or put any pressure that would cause me pain.

Needed to stretch for bunion

Needed to stretch for bunion but other than that they fit great and are very comfortable.

Almost perfect

I absolutely love the look of this shoe. However, I give it only 4 stars because it is a little tight in the toe box so it isn’t the most comfortable shoe right out of the box. I am hoping that it will feel better after breaking in. Just a little more width in the toe box would have made it perfect.

Very comfortable good quality, good

Very comfortable good quality, good mid-foot support, & attractive. I wore them brand-new for shorter distance walking over days-long trip (~3 miles/day on city streets). This isn’t a shoe for high-intensity, long-distance walking.

Supportive, Comfy, Perfect for Swing Dancing!

This is my second of Taos shoes, and I couldn’t be happier. They are comfortable, offer great support, and are perfect to wear for swing dancing!

Great shoe. So cute

This shoe was purchased as an aid to getting ready for knee replacement surgery. Easy to put on. Has nice arch for me because I pronate inward this wearing out my left knee! So many compliments. Black ones great right out of the box. The navy ones took a minute for the leather to relax. These are my go to shoes for pants and maxi dresses

This shoe is so comfortable!

This shoe is so comfortable! I wore them to a dress-up event that had slippery marble floors and spiraling stairs and they performed so well for me, especially with my balance, comfort and support issues. I feel that I can wear them all day if I need to.

Very cute, very comfy

Love these shoes…fit nice right out of the box, no break-in required. Actually comfortable without socks, a first for me. Perfect with maxi skirt, great with most any other skirt and skinny pants.

Pretty casual shoe

What a great casual shoe. The leather is soft with a lovely sheen. Comfortable and good fit, true to size. Plan to wear with ankle jeans, pants and skirts in spring and summer. I love them.

The shoes are lovely. I have never spent as much money on a pair of shoes, but they are worth it. I have non=diabetic neuropathy in both feet and the shoes seem to caress my feet.

These shoes do not compare

These shoes do not compare to the casual tennis shoes offered by Taos. I was looking for a casual dress shoe, but these are tight around my bunion.

On the first wear, I

On the first wear, I felt like they were tight across the top of my foot. I didn't want to give up on them right away though, because I have been looking for a shoe in this style with good support. I wore them for a couple of days with socks and made sure to walk around a lot during the day. I work in a large building on a big campus, so I can walk a mile or two in a day without trying too hard. By the end of the second day they were feeling great, and they are now my favorite shoes. Cute and versatile, and very comfortable.

Beauty and Comfort

These shoes are both beautiful and comfortable. I've had surgery on both my feet to remove Morton's Neuromas, and these shoes are a god-send. The color is great, as it coordinates with many outfits. I've worn them with jeans, slacks and dresses, and I've received many compliments. They are true to size as well. I may purchase another pair in black or navy, if available. Super cute and comfortable! I

Super cute and comfortable! I have other pairs of Taos (loafer sneaker style) but the style was discontinued so I needed to find a substitute. I’m glad I finally decided to try this style. They remind me of ballet shoes (always wanted a pair as a kid). The toes are more narrow than my other pairs of Taos but they aren’t squished, just different. I love the color and look of them. I bought my normal size and overall very happy with my purchase.

These are so comfortable and absolutely beautiful on my feet!! They make me feel beautiful!! Ive been down lately r/t an injury and these shoes just really pick me up from the first moment i saw them and then when i received them and put them on!!! Oh my goodness how wonderful they make me feel. The quality is impeccable. I absolutely love them!!!

Comfy As Always

I needed black flats. Rather than go with tried and true Taos, I went with a different comfort brand. Big blistery mistake. I bought these as a replacement. Taos can always be worn straight out of the box. No socks required. These are the perfect shoes to wear with any dress.
