The most comfortable sandals

I now have 4 pair of Taos sandals, which is amazing since I haven’t been able to wear sandals in many years. Between arthritis and plantar fasciitis, it was clunky sneakers for me until Taos came along. I also have several pair of z soul canvas sneakers that I have worn for the past 2 years. Thanks, Taos, for lowering 30 years of foot pain to almost zero!

Cute, comfortable and supportive ❤️

I bought these while on vacation in Colorado. Wore them the next day throughout the day and our many activities with fair amount of walking. I suffer from Plantar fasciitis and my feet never hurt wearing all day right out of box. Despite some swelling due to long ride there in car to visit they easily adjusted to accomadate for. The foot bed is soft but supportive. Not to mention they are adorable little sandals with any summer fashion. Very pleased!

I got these shoes for a trip to Europe. They are stylish and comfortable. I've had issues with plantar fasciitis, but I did not have any heel pain after spending several days and walking many miles in these shoes.

Comfy and Supportive

This is a very comfortable shoe. The arch support is great for plantar fasciitis. The Velcro closures make these easy to take on and off. I typically wear an 8 1/2 but usually size up for length on Taos shoes. The 9 fits perfectly. I bought the oak color, and it’s a great neutral that goes well with every outfit.

Great sandal

These are some of the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever worn and give great support for my plantar fasciitis. Comfortable right out of the box. I sized down to an 8 because my usual size 9 was a little too loose

Best sandals ever

Okay, so you can kinda call me a bandwagon reviewer. I have worn Taos shoes off and on for the past 20 years. They are well-made shoes, especially for folks who don’t have your typical feet. When I saw "The Show" sandal on the Taos website, I read the description and thought, wow, these sound amazing, and they looked like an attractive shoe. Then I saw the number of 5-star reviews they had (this is where you can call me a bandwagon reviewer if you like), but these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn right out of the box. I bought them for a trip I am taking this summer, and I have been wearing them nonstop. They feel broken in from the get-go; the arch support is great (I have flat feet), and they are comfy. I can’t tell you enough how much I love these sandals. They really live up to the praise, and it is easy to see why they have over 4,000 5-star reviews. They are my favorite summer sandal.

Perfect for long summer days

I love these shoes! They are comfortable for walking all day. With the Velcro straps, I am able to adjust the width over the lower part near the toes and the wider part over my instep. The style helps in supporting then high arch of my foot without being uncomfortable. I first ordered this shoe in a larger size with a wide width as I did for the tennis shoes but found them very large on my foot. I returned them and exchanged for one size smaller in a medium width and they were perfect.

Good for My Small Feet with Bunions

I’m glad I bought these sandals. The footbed is comfortable and absorbs sweat with no odor. I have small bunions and worried whether the narrow strap would rub them or make them look prominent. They don’t. The velcro adjustments at the ankle and across the toes make the shoes feel like a custom fit. They look good and the leather is quality. Thumbs up! I’d buy them again.

Just got my third pair of the Show!

I now have 3 pairs of the Show, and have one other pair of Taos sandals whose name escapes me. I have fallen arches and have had plantar fasciitis, but I can wear these all day, day after day, without problem. My heels are narrow, but forefoot is of normal width, and sometimes I have a tough time finding shoes that work. These are very comfortable. I just ordered my first pair of the Loop and can't wait to see if I like them as much. Taos brand shoes are great and I've told friends about them.

I am a huge fan

I am a huge fan of my sandals - they are the best fitting and most comfortable sandals I have ever had. I have recently had Plantar Fasciitus and treatment and my Podiatrist said he was very pleased to see me wearing Taos sandals - excellent choice for feet like mine. I have narrow feet with high arches and the sandals fit me perfectly. Thank you Taos from the bottom of my feet!

Love the style, comfortable fit

Love the style, comfortable fit and ease of putting the sandals on! The softness of the leather is exquisite and the color is rich. The support helps my plantar fasciitis where I can walk in comfort.

Well made shoe

You can instantly see the quality in this sandal. Sandals are hard for me to find with plantar fasciitis but these are so comfy and great support!

This is my first Taos

This is my first Taos order and probably won't be my last. These sandals are stylish and go with everything, ordered them for an upcoming beach trip. Very comfortable and didn't require any breaking in. I have very high arches and these sandals are good, I could probably use a bit more arch support but I think my arches are higher than most. Also have narrow feet and these feel secure. Highly recommend.

Comfortable right of the box

These were comfortable right out of the box. I didn’t have to wear them in. I have wide forefront foot, narrow heal, high arch. I appreciated being able to adjust the straps to fit my feet perfectly. I wear between 6-1/2-7. Since there were not half sizes I bought a size 7 and it fit perfect. I have been wearing these everyday and have no problems.

Super-comfortable, great-looking, and true to size

Best summer sandals ever. Comfortable right out of the box, and they look wonderful with everything from shorts to jeans to linen pants to maxi skirts and dresses. Probably not enough arch support for some, but the footbed is super-soft. Nice grip on wet floors. The caramel color is so versatile, and I just ordered another pair in mocha. I have an average-width foot and take a 9 in dress shoes and a 9. 5 in boots and athletic shoes, and the 9 fits perfectly. The 10 definitely would have been too big.

Just bought my third pair of Show!

I love these sandals. I am 70, have fallen arches, and have had plantar fasciitis. I am careful about what shoes I wear. I have had a pair of Taos in another style for a few years, which were fine, and bought the Show based on the rave reviews. Then I bought a second pair, and now a third. After living in sneakers with orthotics except for dress occasions, I can't tell you how great it is to just slip into a pair of sandals and go. Convinced a friend to try them as well, and she's now gotten a second pair. Love them!

Best Sandal Ever! Great fit in size 10.

These sandals are perfect. I’m back to buy another pair. I’ve had mine for more than a year, and I’ve walked miles and miles in them. I’m 62 and have had plantar fasciitis and miniscus tears in both knees. I’m VERY picky about my shoes. Before these I could not have both comfort and style. I love love love the shoes. Adjustable in the right places and the perfect length (if you wear a 10, you know what I mean). Mine still look new. They’ve been rain-soaked several times. I wear on the beach, and they just look better and better. I have the caramel color and am trying to decide on another color because the ones I have are not worn out!

Happy Feet Happy Woman

I have difficulty finding comfortable sandals and have been so happy to find these. My feet are problematic with bunions, flat arches, But these sandals have given my feet 'new life'! I can walk in these all day and also they look stylish with all my summer clothes. I enjoyed the Taos product so much that bought three other pairs in different colors and features.

Best sandal ever

I have bunions & really touchy feet so cannot wear just any shoes or sandals. I ordered The Show in a wide width & am so happy with them. I am used to sandals hurting after walking any length of time but these are amazingly comfortable, soft, & supportive. I’m looking forward to getting another color.

Great shoe

I bought these shoes to take on an upcoming trip because sneakers make my feet too hot. I tried them out walking around for a day and was pleased at the comfort. I like that the straps are adjustable so they fit my narrow foot. I do wish they had a little more arch support.

10/10. Perfect for wearing all

10/10. Perfect for wearing all around UK to sightsee on my trip in late June during the hot weather (and at home in TX). Love these sandals. Had them on for all 4 days in London walking around the city and 1 of my days in Edinburgh for tea. Can’t say enough about these shoes and how they saved my feet from being too hot and had plenty of cushion to take care of my plantar fasciitis. No rubbing, no blisters, just perfect!!

Best Shoe Ever

IMO the best shoe ever is “The Show” by Taos! I have a half dozen pairs in multi-colors. So comfortable that I forget I’m wearing them even after eight plus hours of walking, and I have plantar fasciitis!

Love these sandals so much!

Absolutely love the style and color. The style is, well, more stylish than the usual nice leather sandal! It fit perfectly and adjusts easily with the" no see" velcro. The velcro straps are easy to manipulate, even with some arthritis to deal with. They are very, very comfortable are safe to wear; no foot slippage in sandal and no slippage on outside bottom of shoe. I am sometimes bothered by discomfort in the ball of my foot after standing on hard surfaces, so I plan to get simple cushions for that. Its not concern enough to make me not wear them though. In any event, I love these so much I wish I could get an ankle boot in that exact same Steel Grey color and comfort level! If it was also of a similar style to the sandal, that would be fabulous. It is just gorgeous!

Very comfortable

Very pleased. I have a difficult time buying shoes because of bunions, narrow feet and collapsing arches. I’m elderly and want good support which this shoe definitely has. They’re also fashionable!!

I like them a lot,

I like them a lot, but, I don't love these shoes. So many of the reviews gave them a 5 star. My issue is only this, the shoe, on the top is cut to high for my high arch and the arthritis on the top of my right foot. I Should have known better, but, loved the look. Can't return them, gave them a trail run to the grocery store. Very expensive mistake.

Beautiful but not for feet with bunions

It’s a beautiful style and the quality is excellent, just like all other Taos shoes I’ve tried on. Sadly, the front strips rubbed against my bunions so I had to return them. If you don’t have bunions these may work out for you.

Foot pain solution

As someone that has been riddled with foot pain for decades, I don’t mind spending money as long as the shoe is comfortable and so far this shoe gives me the arch support I need. My goal is to take these to Italy in September and survive the cobblestone streets.

Love the Show. The black

Love the Show. The black ones are my 2nd and latest pair. I have put many miles on my camel pair that I purchased last summer. I wear them year round in Texas. I have a high arch and instep. I wear a 7 medium width in the show and an 7 1/2 wide in tennis shoes.

First time Taos customer

Very pleased with this purchase. Very comfortable, from the first time I wore them. I really like the adjustable straps because I have arthritis, and sometimes my feet swell. My feet feel very supported when walking in these sandals.

So comfy

I wore these straight out of the box to a concert in the city - lots of walking, hours of standing and dancing, and no issues with my back or heel pain. Can't wait to get other sandals in other styles and colors!

I love this shoe! This is my second pair. The leather is so soft,. . . the arch gives me good support. . . and for those days when your feet are a bit swollen, the velcro straps are quickly adjustable for your comfort. I had a bad case of gout the other day, and these shoes were all I could wear that helped me walk with less pain.

Amazingly comfortable, great support, you dont even know they are on your feet, light, quality leather, beautifully comfortable. Truse to size I wear 8 /39 and the fit of the size 8 Au was perfect or me. The arch support is so good you dont feel 'pressure' like some other shoes. I will buy more soon because they are sooo good !

WIDE FOR THE WIN!

My family has purchased many pairs of Taos over the years - the orders come quickly, well packaged, and the leather is soft right out of the box. We LOVE The Show - the 9 regular is a smidge too narrow for my wide feet and I am thrilled to now have the 9W in Champagne. PLEASE COME OUT WITH MORE COLORS IN WIDE!

Great Fit and Arch Support!

I own six pairs of Taos sneakers and one pair of sandals. I switch depending of the events. All are well made, comfortable, stylist and offer very good arch support. Needless to say, these are the sneakers and sandals I take on vacation. Well worth the money!

These are my favorite sandals as they are so comfortable, and the arch support is a big help to me. I feel good wearing them with my jeans, and they also go well with my dressier outfits. The leather is soft but gives good support to my feet. Love them.

The best fit for people with neuropathy!

The best fit for people with neuropathy! I’ve never experienced a fit quite as good as this shoe fits my numb feet. In addition, I have a foot drop and even then I feel not only safe but extremely comfortable in my strides while wearing this extremely good looking and supportive shoe.

High arches needed more support

Beautiful shoe but does not have the same arch and metatarsal support as Wonderful has. Depending on your feet, this may be very comfortable. I just needed much more for high arches.

Best travel sandals EVER

I bought these and forgot I had them, and was a bit worried when I took them as my only shoes on a 3 week trip to Croatia and Istanbul, since I had never worn them and they were not broken in. I put them through the most vigorous tests a shoe can have - unrotated wear, 87 miles of walking cobblestone and uneven, hard surfaces and steps, and even getting my feet soaked in torrential downpours, and still walking several miles in wet leather sandals. I never had one blister, and my feet felt surprisingly good after miles-long walks through the cities, in very warm weather and no socks. After taking “comfortable” boots on a month-long trip to Europe last year, being careful to rotate and not wear the same shoes every day, and pair them with special socks, and still suffering from blisters and feet that felt like they had been beaten with hammers, I am even more impressed by how amazing these sandals performed in the most challenging conditions. I’ll be finding Taos shoes for my next adventure. I’ll also be buying these in another color. 💙

Attractive, Comfortable, and Durable!!

I bought The Show in caramel and found them to be very comfortable, so I decided to use them for a 16 day European vacation cruise with 11 destinations. I have fibromyalgia making my feet are overly sensitive and I was concerned. I was walking ALL DAY in these sandals - but MY FEET FELT GREAT!!! There’s something else to be said for their wear. I was certain I would ruin them on the vacation. I wore them on beaches, walking on rough stones, horseback riding, and wandering the roads and alleys of Europe. (I’ve ruined sandals at walking Disney World for three days. ) The Taos sandals came home still looking barely worn and still feeling firm and fantastic. Taos puts these in the category of 'soft support sandals' and they really surprised me. I own several pair now and expect to have these timeless shoes forever.

Good

These are very comfortable. I got them to take on vacation to NYC and DC. I don't plan on doing all day walking in then but rather for evenings out and dinner/after dinner walking. I've been wanting them to break the. In and they are very comfortable and supportive. However, it looks like there is discoloration on one shoe that looks like water marks. Not sure how that happened. May explore warranty. I expect normal wear but I have had them long enough for them to be discolored.

Comfortable and Versatile

I tried for most of the summer to find comfortable walking sandals that would look plausible with a cute dress as well, and The Show fits the bill. They are well-made and the Velcro strap makes it easy to adjust. The footbed length is right, which was not the case with some other sandals I tried, but I’d recommend sizing up if you are between sizes. Would love just a little bit more arch support, but it remains comfortable for quite a lot of walking.
