Excellent Support. Super cute.

1st- the come in WIDE!! Yay I have wide feet, previous stress fracture, and plantar fasciitis- these shoes work Excellent. Great support, medium to high arch, moderate cushion without sacrificing support. Super cute. Don't hurt my feet after a day of being out and about. Well made. The only possible negative and to be aware of- they run about half size small. I usually wear 8.5-9W (wide) and order Taos in 9.5W for a perfect fit. Highly recommend!

Almost great

I am mostly happy with these shoes. I have wide feet and get frustrated with the general lack of options out there. Often shoes that are sold as "wide" only have a slightly wider toe box. These ones are better. The sole is comfortable, even for me. (I have a bum foot with plantar fasciitis, Morton's neuroma, a pronounced bone on top of the foot and posterior tibial tendonitis) I would love it and call it great if it was a bit wider. My feet don't scream at me but at the end of the day when I take them off my feet are red at the pressure points on the outsides of the ball of my foot. Overall though, they fit the best out of the shoes I currently own with the exception of my golf shoes.

Love these sneakers!

This is my fifth pair of Taos sneakers. I have flat feet and a history of plantar fasciitis -these sneakers feel great right out of the box and I can wear them all day without any foot discomfort. Love them!!!

This is a great shoe

This is a great shoe for me. I have knee and hip problems plus plantar fasciitis, so I require a sturdy shoe with a good arch and strong overall structure. This shoe is cool looking AND sturdy with fine arch support plus a toe box wide enough that doesn’t cramp my foot. That’s a hard combination to find. I’m looking forward to buying more colors from this collection. Thank you Taos!

Best arch support

I am prone to plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes I can wear without additional inserts. They are stylish and comfortable!

Star shines

I was very unsure how these would fit. I’m normally wear a 7-7. 5 but ordered these in 8. 5. I wanted some more room in my toe box. They felt so heavy and stiff. I was sure I would end up with a blister on my heel. Arch support was great. I suffer from plantar fasciitis. No blisters at the end of the day and I walked around a lot at work. I kept wiggling my toes and enjoyed the room but I probably could have ordered an 8. Really happy with these.

This is my third pair

This is my third pair of Taos shoes. I have two different styles of sneakers, along with sandals, and I absolutely adore them. They are very cute, and more importantly, they fit perfectly. I used to suffer with plantar fasciitis, but it has been gone for quite some time, after I switched to wearing better shoes with excellent arch support.

These are not only cute but so so comfortable! I have plantar fasciitis. These have wonderful arch support. They are well made. Now I want them in other colors! Highly recommend!

Great support and comfy

My feet overpronate, and I have plantar fasciitis, but these shoes I can walk in all day! This is my second pair.

On my 2nd pair!

These are my new favorite casual shoe. Because of autoimmune arthritis, I can't wear shoes without strong arch support--which means most shoes on the market are out, including all the cute ones. I'm left with a selection of offensive old-lady styles. And even after buying more expensive, "supportive" ones, I still have to supplement with arch supports. But then I found these, and it changed everything! They are CUTE, and I can wear them without addition supports and still be comfortable after wearing them all day! I love this style, the heathered charcoal color fits with everything, they are made well, and they support my feet. They do run ever-so-slighty narrow, I think, but that's part of why I adore them. They are casual, but also can be dressed up and look chic. I wear them with everything: errands, dates, to the office, anywhere I go. Thank you for understanding that there are young(er) people who want supportive footwear with style, too!

Most comfortable canvas sneaker!

Wow! For what I consider to be an old fashion style canvas shoe, these sneakers have the best arch support. I ordered them in W because a lot of the popular brands like this run so narrow and I didn't want to take any chances. They are perfect and can be worn immediately. I ordered a 7.5 W, 7.5 is my usual size. I have a small bunion on one foot and did not want any pain, so I went with the W. They are perfect, not bulky. I wear them with sweats, jeans, and may even wear the white pair I purchased with a sundress. I will buy these every year. I wish they made an active sneaker that I could exercise with because the arch insole is the best out there. I also feel like the arch hits in the right place. A lot of times it hits too far back towards the heel. This is a tad bit more forward and is perfect!

Great quality. Nice sleek look for a wide shoe, with comfortable arch support and thick sole. Great fit for my toe and Morton’s Neuroma issues, as well as comfortable on my ankles when they swell.

These shoes were so comfortable right out of the box. Good arch support, enough width for my wide feet, and a really cute style. These are my first pair of Taos, and they certainly won’t be the last.

Love these shoes and the pain relief they provide

I have experienced a relief in bunion and plantar fasciitis and these shoes are the main factor. Very grateful for my Taos shoes!

The arch support is great.

The arch support is great. I have foot problems and the support these shoes five help my feet to be straight instead of walking on the inside of my ankle. Very comfortable and stylish.

These shoes are the best

These shoes are the best for my feet. My feet feel stable and comfortable in my Taos shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and after wearing other less supportive shoes, my feet will just ache and pull on the soles. This doesn’t happen with Taos.

Very happy with these. Excellent arch support and well made. They are a little pricy, but they're worth it. I learnt a long time ago that it's not a good idea to skimp on footwear .... quality and comfort over quantity! it's even more import for me now following extensive foot surgery a couple of years ago.

Thrilled with the comfort. I have high arches and wide feet. These are an incredible find! I have the white for keeping at work to do a quick change and the grey for casual. They're cute and comfy and perfect !

This is the 6th pair of star Taos I have purchased. I love how they support my high arches and they are super comfortable right out of the box.

I love these shoes!! They are comfortable, yet supportive. (due to high arches I need support) They are my favorite walking shoes.

Nice-looking shoe - but could be more comfortable

I bought three pairs of these on markdown - took a chance they would fit because it was stated that they were not returnable. I find the shoe good-looking and ordered it in wide in my size. I find that it feels just a tad shorter than my true size but the width was good for being a W. The arch is excellent and for the most part the shoe feels ok, but is definitely tight and firm on my foot. When I walk, the very back of the shoe moves a bit and causes a small bit of rubbing. I think with a short break-in period these will work fine, so I'm wearing them around the house. They are do-able for me. I would not order them again however, I feel like when ordering expensive shoes they should fit well right out of the box and these don't. For these reasons I rate them a 4 out of 5.

Shoes are good, return service in Canada is terrible

I followed reviewers' advice and sized up by a 1/2, but this was still too small. I had to order a full size larger. I have only worn them to and from work, ~ 1 km walk each way. The shoes are comfortable with good arch support, and I think are probably best for people with narrow feet. They seem well made, but only time will tell. Returning the pair that was too small was expensive ($26) via Canada Post, the only option Taos would accept. Will avoid online shopping with them in the future.

My fave

Bought 3 pairs (in fear of them being discontinued). Wide roomy toe box, great arch support - perfect for wearing all day. I order a 1/2 size up and Wide even though my feet aren’t that wide. They are kinda bony so I can’t do true barefoot shoes

This was my first Taos purchase. I am always skeptical about first purchases. These arrived, and were comfortable right out of the box. The arch support is amazing! I did order the 1/2 size larger based on other reviews, and they fit perfectly!

Happy first-time customer

Very happy with this purchase. The shoe is extremely comfortable with good arch support. This is really nice as I have a standing desk at work so am on my feet the better part of each day. Looking forward to another purchase soon.

Comfy

This is my third pair of Star style. I tried a different style but I went back to these. I also own 2 pair of sandals. I am a tried and true advocate for Taos shoes. With suffering from plantar fasciitis these are all I can wear. Pricey but worth every penny.

Most comfortable Shoes EVER!!!

The Moc Star is the most comfortable shoes I own. I now have 5 pairs and plan on buying a few more colors if they come back into stock. I am a teacher (37 years) and wear these when I dress more casually. They are the best and I recommend them to anyone on the fence. I have a few issues with one of my feet (a bunion that has affected the toe next to it that will eventually need surgery) but for now these help me immensely and are SO comfortable. I always go with the wide width. For anyone on the fence or debating the cost, they are worth every penny. Wish they would make them in even more colors. I love my Taos!!!

I Love these!

Since I wear a size 12, it has been difficult to finds supportive, well fitting shoes for casual use.nthis shoe with its well designed arch supports(far better than drug store inserts) have greatly improved my comfort and significantly reduced foot and knee pain. Almost orthotic and miraculous. I bought a second pair and 2 more insoles

The style of Star is

The style of Star is very pleasing and goes with everything I wear. The color is neutral and yet different from other tennis shoes I own. The best thing about Taos is the insoles. Great for those needing support and high arches. Super comfortable, I could and have walked miles in these sneaks!

This is a great shoe!

This is a great shoe! The insole arch support is the best fit for my flat feet. I wear a size 11 and the design of this shoe actually makes my foot look small! I love them and will be ordering another color soon.

Shoe was true to size, footbed is comfortable, unfortunately the seem that crosses the bunion area is very painful, will need to return for that reason.

These are the only sneakers I can wear that feel good on my feet. I have high arches and the arch support in these does wonders for me.

I work at a standing desk and have very high arches. The Star, in a variety of colors, is my everyday shoe for all day foot comfort.

Good walking shoes for streets of Paris!

Great and supportive summer shoe

I love the scaled back appearance of this white tennis shoe. It’s sleek and comfy. It provides really nice support and the sale price made it even more attractive. I treated with a protective spray to keep the canvas cleaner. Eager for warm weather so I can wear it more frequently. I went with a half size larger, per recommendation, which works with my Bombas footies, but may be a little long with my lighter weight summer socks. We will see. Overall, I am very happy with the look and feel of these shoes.

The Arch in the shoe

The Arch in the shoe is very good even though it looks like a flat shoe and the toe width is wide. Very comfortable for the grey shoe and true to size. I ordered a blue pair since the grey was so nice and it’s like a completely different shoe. Short and narrow. Since I had to pay for return shipping I decided to keep them but only wear the blues ones for short periods. Both have a hard canvas feel so it would be nice if they were a bit softer and stretchable fabric

Excellent sneaker, perfect…. I size up to 8, which is 1/2 size up for me! I have 15 pairs in all different colors except white, which I have 2 pairs. These are my everyday, every activity, go to shoe! Never have to break in, wear them right out of the box!!! The arch support is amazing. Highly recommend…..

Ordered the Star shoes in

Ordered the Star shoes in gray. They are nice looking & comfortable with a good arch support. They are cut narrow; I ordered an 8 regular which fits only because I have a narrow foot. If wearing thicker socks I could have sized up to 81/2.

These are comfy shoes with great arch support. Perfect for running errands or lunch with friends. I did order a half size bigger after reading reviews. They seem to be good quality and cute.
