Cozy and comfortable, great support!

These are so comfortable and cozy, definitely high quality and well made. I have high arches and I bought them so I could have comfortable supportive shoes for standing while doing massage therapy and being on my feet all day. I will likely buy more from this company. They do run a little small, my feet are sized to a 7.5 so I bought a pair of size 8 which still feel a little snug with a pair of wool socks, if you're looking to get a pair for eating thick socks, I'd recommend you go with a half size or full size larger than your true size. While I mostly wear these indoors, they're totally fine for dry outdoor wear, and being wool would probably keep feet warm when wet, but I haven't tested that yet...

Excellent Boot

I have spent way too much money on custom orthotics and other shoes for my plantar fasciitis. I had heard good things about these boots, and I wasn't disappointed. Insoles take a little to break in, but are very supportive and comfortable. It was hard to want to pay this much for a pair of shoes, but I am realizing you really get what you pay for in shoes, and thankfully they have a good exchange policy.

Comfy

These are great and exactly what I wanted them to be. They are a comfy cozy shoe I slip into after being on my feet all day at work. I keep them in my car so I can change out of my Chef shoes immediately. I also wear them shopping and to the hot springs. They are my out and about slippers. I’m not giving them a high arch support rating but arch support isn’t what I’m looking for in leisure time foot wear. They would probably be nice for someone with foot pain. Not a work shoe, warm and a good choice for my foggy coastal lifestyle.

INVEST IN YOURSELF FOR HAPPY STYLISH FEET!!

Good Wool are my 4th pair of täōs shoes from their Wool Casuals arsenal. They're all fabulously comfortable and super stylish (compliments out the wazoo). I bought 2 pair of these in Moss & Navy and I also have the Convertawool in Charcoal and Woollery in Olive. These are ALL life changing for me. I interchange and wear them ALL the time!! I'm finally investing in better quality shoes for the health of my feet (high arch with undiagnosed plantar fasciitis), which now at age 54 I just can't wear heels anymore, but obviously I still want to look cute & hip and these really check all the boxes for me!!

Very comfortable

These are comfortable and warm! The arch support is great. Making sure to wear these or my other Taos slippers around the house has made a noticeable difference in my plantar fasciitis pain.

Great Boots!

I love these boots! They are really comfortable and supportive for my problem feet. It is so hard to find shoes that feel good on my feet! If I do find shoes that feel pretty good, I usually can’t wear them all day or at the end of the day my feet hurt. These boots are so comfortable that I realized I was wearing them longer and longer and walking more and more so I knew I finally found some shoes that could actually make my feet feel better. They keep my feet warm, too, but not hot so after wearing them all day I don’t have sweaty feet to contend with — just happy feet!! Would recommend these boots in a skinny minute to anybody looking for shoes that offer comfort and support and can be worn all day.

I own 3 pair of

I own 3 pair of Taos sandals, Twin Gore Lux and a slip on wool clog. All are great quality, comfortable, with great arch support. My latest pair Good Wool, wow, meets every foot issue I've ever had, mainly high arch, and triple narrow heels. Amazing comfort and perfect tow box.

Best slippers ever!!!

Warm but not too warm, plus amazing arch support! I have plantar fasciitis and I wear these all over the house now all day, and they are a game changer. Can’t recommend these highly enough!

I need another pair in a different color! Love these!

I normally wear a size 9 1/2 and purchased a size 10 to make sure there was enough toe box room for my wide feet, flat feet. They fit loose, but they don’t slide around when I walk. I wear a heavy sock, and they are perfect, & warm! Straight out of the box, they are “wear all day” comfortable. Be careful on ice, there isn’t much traction.

Warm, Cosy, and Comfy

Love these shoes! I buy Taos shoes because I have a high arch and need the support. These shoes are an excellent example. They are comfortable to wear all day and the wool fabric is perfect for winter wearing. My feet are always cold, but not in these! I’ve received compliments on how cute they are too.

Perfect fit, comfort and quality

Runs true to size in my opinion. Very comfortable, without a break-in period. Did an excellent job of regulating my foot temperature. I also have flat feet and was worried that the arch support might get uncomfortable rather quickly. To my surprise it did not cause any problems.

Go to shoe for travel, leisure and everyday walking

The shoe/ boot is extremely comfortable especially with my bunions. It molds to my feet and also gives support. I enjoy not having to wear socks unless it is freezing out and these shoes give me warmth . It is well made with very good quality material.

I rally love these boots. Normally, I wear orthotics in my shoes, but these have excellent arch support so no need for my orthotics. They are warm and cozy but not too hot. Just as comfy as slippers and super stylish.

Best Ever!!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I wanted them in navy also, but my size was sold out. I would also buy them if they were made in black. I teach school and will wear them every day possible until spring. I only buy very well made, comfy shoes to teach in. Also, I have tile floors in my house; I can stand up in the kitchen all day in these shoes comfortably. Only foot problems are large bunions on both feet. I don’t feel them at all in these shoes.

Super comfortable! I can be on my feet all day and my feet won’t be tired at the end of it. My only problem is that they’re hard to get on since I have a high arch. Once they’re on, they fit perfectly!

I have plantar fasciitis and bought these to wear inside. They’re good support, but not wearing all day. They’re a little loose, but thick socks make them snug enough. I love the look of them! I wear a 6 normally and would probably get the next size down, but 6 is smallest they come.

the idea of breathable felt

the idea of breathable felt and the quality was excellent, so I was disappointed that the cushioning was not enough support for my plantar fasciitis. Sizing is generous, runs large. The look is great; like a moccasin. Please make these with an improved supportive sole.

I purchased wool clogs from

I purchased wool clogs from Taos last year, but had to return them as they were too loose to keep on my feet. These boots have a similar fit, except that the closed heel keeps the shoes on. They are easy to get on and off, and are cozy warm. The extra width works with my bunion, and socks also make the fit more comfortable. I'm happy with my purchase. They look great and feel good.

Super comfy

I am very pleased with these wool boots. I spent a lot of time debating on size though. I have the wool slip ons in a size 39/8. 5 and they are a little loose, but still very comfy. Because they are roomy I am able to wear thin socks if it’s really cold in the house ( they are my winter house shoes). But, many reviewers commented on how hard it was to get their feet in the boot, that they ran short, etc… long story short, I risked going with the size I had purchased for the slip ones. I am so glad I did! I have no trouble getting my feet into the boots, even with socks on. They are comfortable and get better with each wear. I purchased these, not as house shoes, but errand running comfort shoes. They fit the bill perfectly. Length and width are good for me. I’m normally a solid 39/8. 5. My feet are wide but my heel is narrow. Great boot, would have loved these in loden green, but I really didn’t want to pay full price… the light grey is still lovely.

I broke both of my feet and 2017 I was told it was plantar fasciitis in 2019. My feet were diagnosed accurately and operations came and these shoes are the best I found to support my walking lifestyle. I literally wear them out and I love the fact that you can wash them that is a real asset, I would love to buy another pair if I could get a coupon I would purchase another pair in a minute. Favorite pair of boots. Conforms to feet and nice wide toe box. Great for bunion pain and ball of foot pain.

I wear a size 10

I wear a size 10 and bought a size 41. These fit well. I have a high arch, regular width feet and usually wear shoes that support feet that pronate or rocker/MBT shoes. They are a little tough to put on with thick winter socks, but once my feet are in they're comfortable. Cute look. Light. They look small and slender and feel almost like wearing socks. (For my slides I'd try a size 42 next time)

I wanted shoes that were easy to get on, warm, and chic. These are so delicious. They are my second pair of Taos shoes and both have been so comfortable right out of the box. I have wider feet and a bunion on one foot so new shoes are often somewhat painful. Not these. And they are super warm. I love the look too.

I love these booties. They are warm - but not hot. The arch support is perfect for my feet. I have very high arches and these feel just wonderful. Lots of wiggle room for my toes. I just love them!

Comfy

They’re warm and comfy. A bit narrow for my wide feet, so I wish I’d sized up, but they’re already stretching out a little to allow for my bunions, so it’s all good.

These are the best fitting, comfortable (NOT hot) slipper I have ever had in 50 years. Love the arch support for my high arches.

I absolutely love the wool

I absolutely love the wool ankle boots! I have two pair and will likely invest in more. They are very comfortable and warm. They seem to be made very well. I haven't worn them much so I hope they hold up to wear. They don't have enough arch support for me so I bought some Vionic inserts. The inserts fit perfectly and I have the perfect shoe! I do wish they gave more instruction on caring for wool shoes. Should I pretreat them w Scotchgard or something? Should I seal the cork sole every so often. No care guide included. I absolutely love the leopard print wool boots! Keep making them fun and fashionable.

Slippers disguised as shoes

My new wool slippers have become my favorite shoes, both indoors and out. The removable, high quality insoles make these gems both supportive and super comfy. And my feet feel toasty warm in our freezing cold house. Would have loved them a tiny bit more if they came in black. Just perfect!

great house shoes

with winter coming in Wisconsin I was in need of some warm house shoes with good arch support. Glad to have found these. Wide enough for my size 10 wide feet ... Plus the rubber sole allows for trips out to the yard with the dog.

Comfortable & cozy right out of the box!

My 3rd pair of Taos shoes and 2nd pair of wool shoes. I have found arch support that truly works for my feet and the shoes are well-crafted and beautiful!

Great Shoe

Bought these as hut slippers for a NE backcountry ski trip. Lightweight and they fit nicely in my pack. They are very warm and keep drafts off my feet and ankles. I can already tell I’ll be using them a lot more than some other felted wool slippers I own. I have bunions and the slippers neither helped nor hurt them. Likewise, one of my toes sometimes brushes against the end of the shoe but I’m not sure sizing up would be a solution and I expect the wool will stretch a bit over time anyway. These are very well made and the soles had great grip, even when I went out in snow or slick, packed down snow. The arches are impressive when you take them out of the shoe to look at them and give gentle support when you’re wearing them, but not so much that I notice it.

New favorite comfies! Indoor outdoor!

Favorite all around shoe at the moment! I feel like a cozy elf in these and I look like one, too. I wear them inside and outside always. I hardly put any other shoes on. I am between a 38 and 39 and definitely recommend going with the smaller shoe here. It's wide, soft, stretches, and fits like a glove with or without socks. I tried the 39 and it was floppy - returned for the 38 and it is perfection! For reference, I have a D wide foot, small heel, high arch, and usually wear an 8 or 8.5 US.

Love the wool!

This is my second pair of navy. These shoe bootie ar perfect for fall and winter, in the house or outdooors, the footbed is very comfortable for my bunion and hammertoe. I wear them barefoot around the house, wool dries quickly and remains odor free. My only suggestion would be a pull loop on the heel to assist with pulling on.

Best. Shoes. Ever.

I only want to wear these from now on! I have two pair now - one indoor one outdoor. They’re the only shoes that my toes and bunions don’t hurt by the end of the day being on my feet all day. Not the best looking but I’ve embraced the wooly elf shoe look for the blissful warmth and comfort.

So cozy

I really like these boots. They were a little tricky getting on originally as I have a high arch but they softened enough that it’s easy now. I love how supportive they are and how warm! I use these primarily as home shoes/slippers. I did order 43 and wear a women's 11 or mens 9.

Warm, comfortable

These boots feel like they were made for me: around the house, out on the deck, to the store or a meeting, for a short walk. So comfortable, wide enough for a bunion accommodation. Plus they are just so cute!

Most Comfortable Shoes I've ever bought

I was reluctant to spend this much money on a shoe that I'd never even tried on and would buy online. I read many reviews and decided to order. I read one reviewer who said she was now ordering a second pair to wear as slippers while using the others she had just bought for outdoors. I laughed...unitl I had the Good Wools on my feet. Wow! They were truly comfortable right out of the box. I have arthritic feet with multiple issues and always have cold feet. These booties are really roomy in the toe box and keep me warm. I most definitely will buy again!

Worth every penny!

These are, without a doubt, the most comfortable close toed shoe I have ever worn. The wool is soft and welcoming, the toe box is wide and spacious and the support of the arch is well matched to the cushion of the ball and heel. Plus, the color is wonderful. To sum it up- I love them! I should add it does take a little effort for me to get them on as I wear them with socks but it’s with the effort. Also, in an effort to preserve the wool I sprayed them with waterproofing.

Thumbs up for Taos shoes

I own several pairs of Taos shoes but this is my first pair of Good Wool. Taos shoes are great for me as my foot tends to run on the narrow side with a higher arch. Often times shoes are just too wide for me. Taos shoes are not too narrow nor too wide and are particularly comfortable because they do have arch support. The Good Will booties have been a real plus during these winter months.

Great support for a wool slipper shoe

These shoes/slippers are the most comfortable wool shoe that I’ve ever worn. Easy to slip on but does not slip in the heel. It’s great to be able to wear these outside as well. I don’t slip when taking the dogs out. There is so much arch support that I can literally wear these shoes all day! Would definitely buy another pair.

So comfy and warm!

Was looking for a comfortable slip on shoe for quick outings and Good Wool was a win! I’m a typical women’s size 8 and size 40 fit great. Can wear with and without socks; feet stay warm and cozy without socks. Love the grip. Great quality. And I love that my dog’s long hair doesn’t stick to the wool felt. Great purchase!

My fall and winter at-home shoes

I bought these to replace old shearling slippers that had lost cushioning under my heels and were too low to keep my ankles warm. The Good Wool booties fit the bill perfectly. They have enough room to comfortably wear thin socks, have enough arch support to wear all day, and provide the desired warmth. Love them!
