My new favorites

These shoes are so comfortable! I have wide feet, high arches, bunions, and had major foot surgery (a former ballet dancer). They are also very warm. I have been wearing them nonstop with a thin sock. I am pleasantly surprised that converting them to a slide is just as comfortable. I normally wear a 7- 71/2 and I got size 37 (61/2-7) anticipating a minor stretch in the wool. They fit perfectly. I love them so much I bought the blue color leopard print to wear as house shoes.

Cozy will comfort

I have been using the clog house shoes for several years now due to issues with plantar fasciitis. They have a really strong arch support as well. On my journey to foot health, lowering my heel is the next step. These have less arch support but it’s enough to keep my high arches supported as I work on my foot strength. These house shoes are terrific. I like the heel up/down feature for slipping on quickly at night, or to keep me cozy during the day. Very happy with these shoes. They will become a part of my foot story for years to come, I can tell!

These are the absolute cutest

These are the absolute cutest shoes! Also so comfortable with great arch support and warm! I’ve worn them without socks and they were nice and warm—I only worry about sweating in them and making them smell bad so I may start wearing no-show socks with them. For those with bunions—the front of the foot bed is nice and wide!!

These have hands down been

These have hands down been the best fitting and feeling shoes to help with my plantar fasciitis. I been struggling with foot pain for years, these feel so good on and I can wear them all day long. They are true to size, I wear a size 10 and the 41 fits perfectly. Kept my feet warm all winter long,,still wearing them now in March. My favorite shoes.

Best shoes ever!

These shoes are warm, supportive & so comfortable. I wear these practically everyday. I have chronic plantar fasciitis along with arthritic bunions and these shoes don’t bother my feet at all!

Best purchase of my life

These are so comfortable! I wear them around the house as slippers and I love taking my other Taos shoes off when I get home to put these on! I believe this is my favorite shoe purchase of my life- I bought these a year ago when I was struggling with plantar fasciitis and could not find arch supports to reach my high arches. Taos was a game changer! Thank you!

Comfy

Bought these as my house shoes to help with my plantar fasciitis, they provide so much more support than my bear paws. They’ve provided relief for my foot pain, Love Taos and look forward to growing my collection!

My go to slip ons

Love these! I have to be so careful with my feet due to plantar fasciitis. Only supportive shoes will do to avoid uncomfortable and painful flare ups. These are wonderful. So comfortable and I love that the heel folds down for easy slip on slides. I usually wear with the heel up, however its nice to have options if I'm in a hurry. The other thing I like is that while I mostly wear these without socks they have an antimicrobial lining that doesn't get stinky. I have wide feet and they fit great. I'd like to buy another pair in a different color.

I have flat feet, an

I have flat feet, an injured tendon in my ankle and a bunion. The Convertawool has good support in the arch/sole and the flap at the heal makes it easier to keep them on if a person has difficulty wearing a clog-type shoe. They are roomy so thick socks are an option with them. Great quality and sturdy. So glad I bought them!

Great arch support!

I’ve been struggling with plantar fasciitis and a heel spur. Bought these shoes hoping the arch support would help. Now I’m walking pain free for the first time in months. Looking at buying a second pair. Thank you Taos!

Excellent!

I did a lot of research to find house shoes/slippers that were warm, comfortable, and had good arch support. These slippers are just what I was looking for. Love the style, color, and everything about them. They can be worn outside, but for me they are my indoor shoes. They run a little big and are great for wide feet, but not too wide for my narrow foot.

Love Taos wool shoes and boots…my FEET love them! I have a neuroma and plantar fasciitis and these do it for me I’ve spent hundreds on others…Taos is the best. NOW PLEASE MAKE THEM IN MORE COLORS!! Purple, more pinks, greens!!! Then I’ll buy more!

Love my Convertawool’s!

I’ve been suffering something awful with plantar fasciitis and needed an indoor, supportive slipper as well as a shoe that could run errands. I love anything wool because of its temp regulating properties, especially since I’m in the cold northeast. I’m wearing them today as slides with wool socks in 0 degrees and they are perfect. I love the insoles. While these are not the cheapest pair of shoes one could purchase, especially if using as slippers, they ARE totally worth it if you have foot issues, and even if you don’t. I love that they are made in Spain with that funky Euro aesthetic and the wool is substantial. The gum rubber sole allows traction even in wet/icy conditions and I love that this can be a shoe or a slide/clog. I did get them on sale in the grey leopard print and they have been on my feet non stop with lots of compliments since I bought them two weeks ago. Fine as a shoe as well as a slipper. I will likely buy a solid colored pair at some in the future I like them so well. I’m generally a 7. 5 — went with the 8 and are perfect with it without a light sock both with and without the help piece up.

Great arches and support

Fantastic slippers! They have great support. I have plantar fasciitis and these slippers help reduce the pain. They are comfortable and attractive. I also love that the backs fold down. They are wide enough but a little too tight to wear with socks

My New Favorite Shoes

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. True to size, beautiful fit, excellent arch support. I normally wear a size 9, sometimes a 9. 5 depending on the shoe. I ordered the size 40 and find them to be perfect. The toe box is roomy without being floppy, and the length is perfect. I like to wear them without socks, but a thin pair of socks would also fit will. And frankly, I'm guessing if I wore thicker socks with them every day, the wool would likely stretch to accommodate the extra bulk. But I love not having to put on socks since they keep my feet warm without them. I love slipping in and out of these quickly, and I think they'll even be great during the cold winter months we experience in South Dakota. Are these my new favorite shoes? I think so!! I hope to order another pair soon!

Love Love Love

I bought the black leopard wool slipon and I love them. They are sooooo comfy. I did size down. I normally wear 7-1/2 or 8 and I sized down to 7 and they are perfect. I plan to use as slippers, not outside, but will definitely buy more. Quality fabric and workmanship. They do tend to run on the wide side, so if you have narrow feet, they won’t work for you. However, I am in my 70s and need arch support and my feet need comfort, and these fit the bill. I highly recommend…worth the money. ❤️❤️❤️

Very comfortable. My feet have

Very comfortable. My feet have become very picky and they love these shoes. Roomy toe box and great arch support. I was worried about the wool being itchy on bare feet, but it's not. They are also comfy with thin socks. I didn't need to break them in or stretch them out. They are comfy right out of the box. I want a clog version to wear for slippers. I'm going to have to try their other wool versions. I would love to own these in every color.

I have struggled with plantar

I have struggled with plantar fasciitis for years and was on the hunt for slippers with good support when I received a pair of Taos sneakers as a gift. These Convertawool shoes work perfectly as my household slippers, but can also be worn out into the world without feeling like "oops I left my house without shoes. " Now that I'm working from home more frequently, having good foot support around the house is so important. Highly recommend!

Warm feet with Happy Arches

It’s November and I started a few weeks of vacation by buying these black Convertawool slippers. They are amazing! With the 3/4 inch heel height, I am sure-footed indoors and out to the mailbox and back. I find myself slipping off of the taller Taos wool clogs, but after 2 weeks of near constant wear, these lower shoes are much more stable. They are warm on my bony flat feet, but never too hot. The arch and metatarsal support iseals the deal - they are comfortable to stand and cook, and I am stable to throw the ball for the dog. Perfect with jeans or sweats or shorts or a nightgown.

Extraordinary comfort

Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Since I have high collapsing arches, my feet supinate rather than pronate. Therefore, Taos footbeds do not work for me, However, after replacing the foot bed with my own orthotic, these shoes offer a level of comfort I’ve not been able to find with any other footwear. Plenty of room in the toe box for my feet to relax. The rubber sole absorbs shock when walking. My knees, hips, and low back feel good in proper footwear. If I could afford to have them in every color, I would. Do yourself a favor and give these a try.

Simply the best

I bought these shoes for a specific purpose, a 4 night train trip from Toronto to Vancouver. The shoe needed to be comfortable, easy to get on, warm, supportive and stay securely on feet. These shoes checked all the boxes! I wore them in the snow in Winnipeg, in the slippery vestibules (see pic) and the icy streets of Jasper with no issue, the sole was grippier than I expected. These shoes are so comfortable and warm (even with my wide feet and bunions), they have become my daily shoe. I've ordered another pair and hope you continue to make them.

Great arch support and quality but

I have high arches and needed the arch support. The slipper was too tight on the top of my foot. Had a shoemaker add elastic gussets to add room. Other wool styles have elastic gussets so maybe add this feature for the convertawool.

I usually wear orthotics but

I usually wear orthotics but these are so comfortable I wear them a lot more. Plenty of toe room and good arch support. Thank you for making such a quality shoe!

Great quality and true to

Great quality and true to size. I have high arches so the arch support isn't there for me. The slippers are very attractive and fit great.

I like these indoor shoes

I like these indoor shoes quite a lot. They are comfortable and warm, without making my feet sweat. I find them a bit big and loose fitting on bare feet, but they are great with socks. If you don't like the feel of wool on bare skin, you would want to wear socks regardless. I like that the toe box is wide. Having arch support around the house has greatly improved my joint pain in hips, knees, and my feet.

Cannot go wrong

My only regret is that I paid full price and not the same price. Other than that, they are perfect. Warm, good arch support, toe box is wide enough for comfort without heel slipping. they stay on when the heel flap is down. I put them on out of the box and felt pretty darned happy! They are not pretty, but they ARE interesting. I will wear these a lot!

Cozy

These shoes are very impressive. The wool doesn’t create sweat and the foot bed has good arch support. The sole has a nice flex that makes walking comfortable.

Convertawool

I have had plantar fasciitis and worked hard to be pain free. My final challenge was to find a slipper for cold Michigan winter that would provide good support and be easy to remove when I have a quick outdoor venture. These slippers check all the boxes!

I have a bunion and a lot of foot pain, fallen arches. This shoe provides support and i can wear them all day at work with very minimal pain.

Favorite new footwear!

They are comfy and warm. I never wear shoes in the house but I do now! I have a hammertoe and plantar fasciitis…these are a winner.

Warm&Cozy

I’m not an animal print lover. But that is all that was available on my size, and I’m not super patient 😂 So,apart from the animal print, I’m a happy customer. These shoes are warm, comfortable, and have the wide toe box that I’m always looking for! I’ve had bilateral tailors bunion surgeries, which are years healed, but I’ve definitely become more aware of the damage that inappropriate footwear can do.

Love these!

Not only are these cute (love the animal print), they are soft, so comfortable and sturdy enough to wear as a shoe. I have high arches & these have enough support. I feel that these run true to size in spite of reviews saying they ran large. I think my other shoes in same size ran small. Hope to have these a long time.

Perfect indoor/outdoor slipper

Love the all wool construction & foldable heel. I have flat feet and shoes with too high of a built-in arch can hurt - these are supportive but comfy! Very pleased. If you have a high instep these might be tight.

These shoes are so warm! I love the wide toe box. I have a bunion and these are extremely comfortable. I love them so much that I bought a second pair.

These shoes are comfy and

These shoes are comfy and have the arch support I enjoy from Taos. They are also warm. Width wise, they are a bit spacious. which turns out to be a good thing. My one con is this: there are no gussets in the shoe. In addition to a higher arch, I also have a higher instep. Since there is no gusset for movement in the top, the wool rubbed my skin raw at the top of the shoe. Ouch! The solution to avoid this type of abrasion is to be sure to wear socks. Since they are spacious in the width, socks are no problem.

Comfortable & Supportive Slippers

I have a pair of the woolflower clogs that I’ve worn as slippers for more than 10 years. They were getting a bit loose so I decided to try something a bit different. I love these. They’re comfortable right out of the box and have good arch support without feeling like too much for a slipper. I like that I can wear it fully up in the back like a shoe or just slip in like a mule.

Comfy Shoes

These shoes are amazing for my feet. I have had surgery on both feet for destroyed joints. I can walk all day long it these, whereas with sneakers the tops irritate my feet. There is arch support also! If I could change one thing about them it would be an insole with more cushion and arch support. But I would recommend these for sure. I got the all gray ones.

Brilliantly awesome!

Wow! Super cute and comfy too! Comfortable, supportive arch and sole. The natural wool is warm and classy. Runs true to size, at least for me. I wasn’t sure I would like the back but I do! I can use them as a quick and easy slip on clog OR pull up the heal back and they become a regular shoe like slipper. Brilliant!!

Love my new slippers. Good arch support and easy to slip on. The rubber sole makes me feel secure on hardwood and carpeted floors. I wear mine inside only. I find them easy to slip on. I wear them with the heel up, not as a mule. Very comfortable and warm.

House shoes/slippers

By far, these are THE BEST house shoes I’ve ever worn! Sizing is spot on and arch support very good. The wool interior/exterior is high quality, durable, and feet remain dry and warm. Actually quite perfect for year-round SoCal coastal area.

Wow! Where have these shoes been all my life. Worth every penny. My foot pain is minimal when wearing them and even reduced lately when not wearing. I have high arches and these are fabulous. Order 1/2 size up if you want to wear thick socks

Super comfy. I wear them around the house instead of slippers. They are perfect for our tile floors. My only wish is that they would slip on more easily. I have very high arches and instep, so I need to gently pull the heel on. Otherwise, love them!
